    • Penix does not deserve the Heisman. It's an affront to past award winners that he's going to win it. He had three mediocre games against bad defensive teams these past three weeks and was rewarded by getting a spike in his odds from all the sportsbooks to become the odds-on favorite. That's just ridiculous, but it lets you know what's really going on. McCarthy could have thrown for 4 TDs and 400 yards over the past three weeks, but Penix would still be favored because he's the predetermined winner for political reasons.

It was not until recently that Mike Bohn came along that he sought to bring the program back to "relevancy" and prominence by stealing Riley away from OU; a serious Athletic Director with a track record of effectiveness. His mistake was not getting a little more involved and demanding that Riley should not have Alex Grinch tag along because he's horrendous and an absolute joke as D.C. Further, I honestly don't know why Bohn left, other than the fact that we have a president who also plays identity and victim-hood politics and forced him out. Now, we have that J. Cohen athletic director who has no business running our athletic department ; another joke. Cohen was simply a hire who "checked the boxes" (i.e gender/religion/ethnicity). Cohen will make things worse once Riley is gone soon (voluntarily). ...So here we are again.... back to mediocrity. As an alumnus, I AM EMBARRASSED!
