  • Daniil’s serve keeps letting him down over and over again this season. Instead of staying clutch in crucial moments and holding on the serve, he makes those double faults or can’t make a single first serve in, which is one of the main reasons the players can have a close battle with him. The numbers don’t lie too, his serve is far from his best compared to the rest of the quarterfinalists. He admitted he was struggling with something serve-wise, hope he figures it out one day. For a tall guy like him, he must be a much better server than he is for the last two years

  • They were all bad predictions for Alcaraz before the tournament started. Even people like A. Rodick o J.Connors saw no future in Alcaraz, favouring the new star, Sinner, with his late titles. Well, he proved them all wrong, and I am glad for him! Talent doesn't ever go away, just gets hidden for other mental reasons. He put it all in order and that's great news for tennis lovers.

  • Carlos when he dials down the showmanship and controls all his talent is just head and shoulders over the rest. He was riding too high on the invincibility feeling that he had lost Wimbledon and just overplayed in a lot of his recent losses. Today and yesterday, it’s was clear again why he’s the natural heir the big 3. You can see how his height is just perfect for tennis, like Federer, not too tall / not too short / so he can produce ballet like movement dancing through shots that these tall players like Med or Jannick can never compete with. He can dance in and out of corners in ways that just make him so fun to watch. Bravo to him for fighting the demons and getting back on track with his first title since Wimbledon.

Struf is also taller than Tsitispas, even though he is also rounded to 193cm. 198cm players can be anywhere between 197cm and 199cm. But Sinner is definitely taller than Djokovic who is 188cm tall as well. I think he is 191cm tall and Meddy is 199cm tall. Inwish ATP could measure in cm.
