Then Sinner cooled down in the second and Alcaraz stepped up his game and broke Sinner, foremost mentally. Then, in the third, Sinner was at first clueless, then the injury or whatever it is happened, and he could not indeed keep up either physically nor mentally. I mean he was only losing to Rafa and dominating everyone else. 3) Is Tsitsipas better than Zverev? Look at their h2h. Was Thiem better than Roger(even a 35+ version of him)? Or Davydenko better than Rafa? So many more examples. The Sinner vs Carlos rivalry is still very young. We'll see how it goes. This match was bizarre! More respect, another day it will be Sinner's turn, now respect, what happened to Sinner is that he fell to the ground in a play and got a burn on his left hand and it was totally superficial, you will see how Sinner, unlike many of You will not make excuses because you know that Alcaraz won the match just as Sinner won at the time.

    • @@imperialx4781He was. From middle of the second set he was touching his calf meaning something his wrong and all his forehands started going missing after that. Sinner wasn't close to his best and Alcaraz wasn't that great either. The match was pretty average too. He has to play better in final or Medvedev will beat him comfortably. Similar thing happened to Alcaraz in RG last year when it felt like he could beat Djokovic too so it's okay. Alcaraz got a bit of luck and Sinner lost, these things happen. Sinner will get him next time for sure unless Alcaraz makes many changes. Furthermore, many of his tactics like the heavy topspin ball only worked because sinner's forehand was not there today and IW is very slow and rain made it worse.
