Ruumet may have not been at Meksen’s level but she kept pushing through the rounds. Gotta give Ruumet credit for that. She’s tough and I’m not sure I would’ve been able to push through like she did and especially with someone like Meksen. Sure, Ruumet may be young and pretty, and that may have helped attract attention but she showed a lot of strength by pushing through even through her tears. Meksen showed mercy, but by no means did she show a lack of skills. Ruumet will take this as a learning experience. I’d say we should give respect to both fighters.

Agree with you, Meksen is probably the best female striker in the world, she deserves better opponents. It is a pity that the control of corporations like One and Glory interferes with real competitions based on skills... it is way too much about money and not enough about sport.

Van Soest is the only one I've ever seen give Meksen a serious challenge--she just walks through these others, although most of them bring more to the table than Ruumet. Meksen is a real pro, so she whupped up on this gal, but looking at her Instagram post after this fight, she was a little emotional, not having enjoyed having to lower the boom on somebody who really just wasn't prepared. Loves me some Anissa Meksen!!!
Meksen put in that work. She clearly showed her vast, vast superiority over the literal debut rookie. Would like to see more of Meksen, if she hasn't retired yet.
Not sure where people saw Meksen show mercy. No doubt shes good. Hope Rummet doesnt give up, she got thumped, but she is tough.

In two years since loss to mekksin I haven't seen much improvement. Had high hopes for Ruumet but I think she has reached her max potential. I don't want to see her getting physically beat anymore....worried for her.

10-9 first round? That's a very biased score. Ruumet was dropped and wasn't able to land a clean punch or kick in the first round.
Ruumet did surprisingly well, fought all the way through against a far far better opponent and defended very very well. She could’ve easily gone down early to Meksen.
Marie was not ready for this, but sure she gained some experience.

at this point for Meksen it's just about going out and teaching the younger gens, sparring them out so they themselves can improve. I guess when you're the humble greatest, there's still some joy to be found in fight-training young spring chickens.

if it hasnt happened it just means Janet or Stamp refuse to fight Anissa. Behind the Scenes a lot of it has to do with fighters trying to preserve their reputation and image. No one wants to fight Meksen. She should just get given a belt and defend it once in a while, maybe ''buck break'' a few new young bucks every season, that's it. pass down the knowledge, experience. In a way I agree with her fighting debutantes. At least she gets to teach, if nobody in her range wants to square up...

One's matchmakers messed up. Look at both records, and you get to the conclusion this fight should not have happen by that moment. One could say about Smilla vs Buntan, but the difference in their records is something Smilla could handle, and in fact, she did.
For boxer style, get their legs, push kick, good footwork and quickly get clinching are the only way. Honestly you don't have to stick with Mauythai foot work, both Samart and Somrak, they don't use it anymore, Cheer up Marie
Ruumet has heart and a good defense. But, she has no power in her kick and punch. She is very predictable when trying to attack. It shows the opponent when to kick or punch. This is the only fight I've watched of her so my opinion is just considering this fight. I hope she fixes these mistakes. She seems like a good girl. while Meksen, she did the basics with no effort, great fighter

I like Ruumet but she’s not ready this, Anissa is too fast, strong and experienced for Ruumet. That said, Ruumet is tough, always has been. Give some good training by good trainers and she might make it to the top 10.
