I don’t think anyone is comparing a 17 year old vs 18 year old, more like 17 vs 23 where the latter has vastly more experience.
@@blackgrey7932 People are sheep. By rights "adulthood" could, and did in the past, begin at 16 or even earlier. The determining factor is mostly mental faculty. By 16 or 17, a person is, of course not physically or mentally fully mature, but not in a sense that they are handicapped or vulnerable like a child but simply not at the peak of their capability. We've normalised a culture of arrested development.

This was absolutely amazing! One of the best jabs I've seen in a while combined with impeccable distance control, pinpoint timing, and relentless pressure. She is the next big thing.

Hi TheINfamous. Boxing actually,,, doesn't have anything called "distance control." Distance control is a term coined by MMA somewhere along the line... because MMA doesn't have boxing science and doesn't have the real understanding of striking as an art.🙂CHEERS.

Both have incredibly crisp combinations. Smilla’s were just next level. Jab like a whip!

Smilla is relentless diandra was overwhelmed that jab is a weapon on it's own no wonder she went on to beat Jackie buntan what a beast at the age of 17, wait a few years and smilla will be so much more rounded.
Love the constant action and stand up boxing in these fights. Way more entertaining than most UFC fights that end up on the ground for 3-5 rounds.
Yeah UFC is a yawn fest compared to One with the mix of MT, KB, grappling and MMA. I really hope that Smilla will stay in One even if she decides to switch to MMA one day. Personally I hope she don't tho, MT is way more entertaining imo.

She's got the basics of a great fighter that can be very successfu in Muay Thai. Great technique, fierce pressure and a granite chin.
She's got the "basics" of a great fighter?? Samilla trained and lived in Thailand for 4 years! She's far beyond basic! Basic fighters dont become professional! You'd see the fight in a different way if you've ever trained.

I'm from Asia and I live 2 hours away from Thailand and I've been there more times than I can count. 1:reat technique = she's very well trained 2:Fierce Pressure = not afraid to be aggressive to win 3:Granite Chin = probably one of the most important genetic ability a fighter needs. You can have the above 2 skills but it's not much use if 1 good strike KO you

ONE has some awesome women fighters. Way more entertaining bunch then ufc imo. That forward pressure from Smilla was nice. Martin maybe couldn’t slowed it down with some more body work but class from both ladies
It was a pretty good fight all around but damn if she's that good at 17 imagine 25.
She'll be unstoppable as long as she keeps her current mindset and doesn't let her first beating get to her too much. Looking forward to seeing her in the future.
Right I mean that's 7 years of potential damage to be taking. So really no telling what type of fighter she'll be then but all the best to her
@@modest1989 yeah sometimes I rather MMA fighters compete with head gear. It's heartbreaking see them get brain trauma. I don't see it necessary not to have headgear since we're focused on the skill and strength displayed in the ring, not blood.

Love the pressure. Nothing keeps me interested in a fight more than when at least one of them is relentless.
Her pressure is nice If she can control her distance/ not fall into the opponent after a combo she’ll be unstoppable
Her jab is fantastic. Her kicks are fantastic - that push kick especially. Her knees in the clinch are fantastic. Her pressure is fantastic. And at 17?! Imagine her abilities 10 years from now. The one thing I'd say she really needs to work on is her defense after she throws the right hand. That's when she seemed to be getting herself clipped. Her boxing overall needs a little work but she is only 17 afterall... but with a jab like that too anyway she clearly won't take long! God dang girl! A jab alone can carry you so, so, so far in so many combat sports. This girl could very well be the next BIG thing.

That step in jab worked well here but if she fights someone who can really crack with the hands i think she gets ko’d. That being said her clinch work was nasty, and to be that skilled at only 17 is pretty incredible.

That last round wasn’t even necessary the coach has to know when to stop a fight. She was already fairly hurt. There was no reason to let her go through that much punishment. But great job to both of them 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

She was 16; 9/6/2020 was her first of three legit TV flights on Muay Thai Superchamp. Somebody taught her; come in with left-right hook- left to the liver... WELL!! I choked on my Cheerios. It was a thing of beautiful thing. The One debut do not surprise me one bit. The last legit MT prodigy of this caliber Valentina Shevchenco Sundell is only in 2nd gear. I can't wait for her to hit the Nitrous
Wow Diandra that last round was amazing. She was dodging and slipping so many hits, looking for that opportunity, nailed her with that nasty left a couple times. Smilla was amazing, great pressure all the way through, but Diandra could have taken that with just the right strike.

That wasn't a "knockout" as much as it was an "I quit". Yes, I'm aware that on the record this is a KO.
That liver shot made her quit. The head punch was just icing on the cake. That liver shot was what really put her down.
I like her and her aggressive fighting style! however, I will be impressed when she can do that against the likes of: Souris Manfredi, Janet Todd, Stamp or Anissa Maksen!
