Look at football for instance… you protect people too much and you ruin the sport… same goes for businesses… you take the risks away it ruins the work making it less meaningful… only difference is that football players have agents that get them millions… others work measly salary positions or hourly wages because these businesses are regulated by OSHA to the point no one wants to work the job… forced to buy “safety equipment” instead of pay workers more.

Because you got them out there in the ocean building the tallest structures on the planet an those structures are getting battered and beaten by extreme weather conditions.. SO WHAT CAN THEY ACTUALLY BUILD ON LAND? HOW TALL CAN WE GO? can we build something 3km's high? Or can we go even bigger and build 3km's high and 2km's below the surface and house a mini city in the biggest building? I would love to build a mini city in one building and house some of the brightest minds.. A building dedicated to science, biology, defensive, resource gathering an refining and technology.. but also recreation an for others who would be willing to come to the mega building built in the middle of the ocean.. this building would need a floatable airport or something
