is there anyone to tell me why they are not able to play, to compose something like this in our present time??? i´m 53...listen to Pink Floyd since i was12 or 13 years old, heard them in the radio or on a record? don´t know anymore, but it was such an experience for me...it influenced a very big part of my live...lots of sad moments when you grow up...problems, with parents, frinds, whatever, but listening to this music, i wrote in other postes on youtube - this music was my drug to leave my body......my mind left .... i flew away.....and amazingly...i still fly....no need of drugs.....close your eyes...fly away

Haven't listened to much Pink Floyd in a long time. Good to hear this again. As Much as I like Dark Side and Wish You Were Here, I really loved this era: "More" thru "Obscured By Clouds." I had a lot of live and studio bootlegs back then too. What a sound!

He actually wasn't high on anything this concert besides maybe some sort of amphetamine. They took dexedrin for long shows to meet the demand of performing. They have taken LSD before but it wasn't a regular thing when they did shows. They probably mostly did it on there time off when they were writing

LOL When I think of the people that used to freak out when we were camping and I play this late night. "While tripping of course" Animals and Umma Guma was always a must but occasionally I throw in some obscured by clouds or atom heart mother. Had and have some 8tracks still. But when the cassettes came along Floyd had their own dedicated case.

None of them were diagnosed however a former band member named Syd Barret was suspected of it due to psychotic episodes he was having. This was back in 67.
