  • The only person that I have ever seen on earth that has unlimited access to BRAND NEW never used clean undamaged straight timbre pallets? I have never seen new pallets that have never touched the floor and this man has them in every video project while the rest of earths pallet furniture builders have to make do with broken stained warped molded pallets that are mostly not suitable to use this way without wood stain or paint

  • These don't look like old used pallets but enjoyed the finished project. My dad took some old used pallets from a local tobacco plant we once had in our city, cleaned them up and installed them as flooring in his house. Most beautiful floor I had ever seen.

I've been really interested in doing my own woodwork so you inspire me a lot.     • I used to make stuff out of pallets and those are hard to get ahold of. Usually the spacing is further apart. When I did get them I would make benches because the boards are so close together. I also used to get oak ones that were 6'x12' and 6x15

    • slightly used? They are brand new. Also they don't look like standardised Pallets. European EPAL Pallets look very different, but then againt the Video probably wasn't made in Europe. The 3 Large Beams still look too weak to handle heavy loads.

  • Well done. I've just one pro tip, if I may - rather than screw, which could require pre-drilling depending on the wood type/condition, get yourself a pneumatic nailer. Much quicker, easier.

  • Question- do you recommend screwing in the countertop to keep it in place or would it be possible just to glue it on to give it a smoother look on top? Do you think that the glue would be able to hold the weight as well as screws?

    • Screw it from bottom up or countersink the screw holes deep enough so you can wood plug the holes. then you don't have to remove debris from the too screw holes.

    • Pine pallet, the back of the pallet is cut shorter by the same thickness as the reinforcement timber used. The part that he screws down on the non cut end of the pallet, so if you use 50mm thick timber cut one end of the pallet that will join up to that pallet 50mm shorter than the front...the front side cut of the pallet is the same thickness as the pallet plus the reinforcement so for example pallet is 200 thick plus 50mm reinforcement equals 250mm longer the front cut of one edge of the pallet must be cut. Hope it makes sense, and you have fun building one.

  • I like this sort of craftsmanship. Very good job as I like to take on these kinds of projects with my own modifications. Like I would double the size then paint it with epoxy resin and add LEDs strips. The way this guy just cut the pallets to fit like a puzzle was too cool.
