  • Many people I"ve seen to say that there is very little difference between 144hz and 240hz. My laptop has a 360hz display, and trust me there is vast difference between 144hz and 240hz. But there is no such difference between 240hz and 360hz. If you're a competitive esports gamer, then you should definitely go for a 240hz monitor. Thank me later 😉

    • The biggest plus is that both 240hz and 360hz is evenly dividable by all the common framerates nowadays like 120, 60, 30 and 24 so you can still watch most non gaming related stuff without playing around with the refresh rate for an optimal experience overall, i used to own a 144hz monitor but ended up only using the also universally dividable 120hz instead since 144hz was only slightly more useful when gaming.

  • What about minimum brightness? Not too bright? I returned the MSI Optix G2412 monitor due to the fact that the minimum brightness is too bright. To understand MSI G2412 at 0% as LG 24GN600-B at 40% in brightness.

  • Good afternoon. Please help me to understand the issue. There are two laptops with a screen refresh rate of 240 Hz. Asus scar 18 *4090 with G-sync and MSI Raider GE78 HX (4090) without G-sync and without adaptive refresh rates.. Question: When playing shooters, will there be a difference at 240 Hz with G-sync and without G-sync. will there be image breaks at 240 fps? (in my region, Asus with G-sync is more expensive by $ 1000)

    • I didn't notice anything poor in the colour, but it'd be hard to draw a good conclusion without being side by side. I can say it's very bright when you're as close to the screen as I am. I pretty much got it purely for the 240hz refresh rate.

  • I heard there is input lag. Is this true? I read on reddit valorant feels terrible on this. I can only imagine how bad Overwatch will feel.     • It may be too bright, especially in the evening/night time, I can only advise you to lower the brightness, but this monitor's minimum brightness is still very bright (Brightness Typical - 400 cd/㎡ ,Brightness Min - 320 cd/㎡), judging by the specifications. has anything changed for you a month later?

    • it depends on your laptops hdmi version support, as I remember hdmi 2.0 or later supports 1080p @240hz

    • A very late response, but 1.2 DP will suffice for 1080p gaming. 1.4 DP is for like 4K at 120+ Hz and 8K

    • Should be. This monitor comes only with hdmi, it has HDMI version 2.0 and DP version 1.2 connectors, but if it comes with an hdmi 2.0 wire, which supports 240 hertz, it's still very close to the peak bandwidth of hdmi 2.0, so I'd rather buy DP 1.2 to have enough bandwidth to spare @@alexadroc1084

  • Bro i am Immortal player in valorant and i found in this monitor a Little bit input lag latency ghosting and tearing with best settings and display Port, i had a leonovo 144hz tn and i think he was Better, so idk xD
