Forza 5 running in 8K at 80 fps is kind of insane. More studios need to learn to optimize their games decently.
It's amazing how games like Atomic Heart can look so good while using only 8GB VRAM, while games like Hogwarts look like crap while maxing out 24GB VRAM.

Looking better doesn't mean better graphics. The thing is Hogwarts legacy looks worse but has much more details and hardcore textures. Atomic Heart has pretty plain Visuals. Just high-quality lightning, reflections and stuff.

Its not realy 50fps, thats only because Frame Generation. The real fps are probably around 25 and FG increases the inputlag so it feels even worse than 25. I know that, I have a 4090.
This video just made me realise that games run how the developer wants it to run. Developers have the power to make 1080p resolution worth it for 4090. Just take a look at God of War, then look at Miles Morales. Now i truly realise its mainly not how good your card is but how optimized the game is. But in todays world, they go more hand in hand than ever and thats why Nvidia must carry some sort of blame
I dont know why they the last of us isnt a masterpiece like on console... I played it on every console but the PC version isnt good... Destroying a masterpiece, spiderman is it not worth for me so it would be better if the devs switched before :(
Optimization has been lacking for a few years now. This is why I am still adamant that 8GB to 10GB is still plenty for 1080p and 1440p gaming. 4k sure that makes sense, but TLOU Part 1 being fixed up is proof it can work if time is taken

This is why consoles have had an existence from the very beginning. 1) Simple to use and little setup required 2) Games are uptimized PC gaming has always been a case of highly potent hardware running higher resolutions and frames (at a cost), but has always been unoptimized as a general statement. The only PC games that run soemwhat great are those made by ID software. Doom Eternal runs beeautifully even on a toaster.
Just look at early-mid PS3 and x360 games, they somehow run smoother and are more beautiful than most games that came after, lol, dragon age inquisition looks better than some late PS4 and xone games, Cyberpunk for example. Of course, the base version of the consoles.

@@etziostondl0quender035 we can barely tell the difference between 4k And 8k its totally overkill, I Daily drive a Xbox Series S but I have a dream of building a gaming PC, but not a top tier one just one with a 4060 or a Rx 7600, although I would also pay more if there as a good 4060 super. The Rx 7600 is good but the 4060 does upscaling with Dlss and frame generation better than the 7600 and they cost almost the same in here.

Your CPU temps are insane! I get around 70c to 80c on my 13700k with a 360 AIO but you get 60c and under with an air cooled cpu cooler. Insane man.

Look at the memory usage, not just VRAM but RAM usage. Most gamers running 16 gigs of RAM not 32 as in this case. Yes it matters especially at higher resolutions and when running more stuff also.

All that money and the cpu and ram is not being tuned for max output at 1080p or 1440p when the 0.1% and 1% lows will increase from 15-30fps depending on cpu bound games.

Flight Simulator continues to be limited more by the CPU than the graphics card. Even at 4K, most of the time the main thread (CPU) was setting the limit and when it wasn't the number of FPS was far more than needed for a smooth experience. At 8K it was GPU limited, but most people would not use an 8K monitor, though people running 3 monitors in 1440P probably really need the 4090. For others though, even 4080 is excellent for MSFS.

Daf*ck you talking about, the higher you go on resolution the less the CPU works. No game is bottlenecked by the CPU at 4k, unless you're using a really old or crappy one. CPU workload is mainly based on the amount of frames it needs to handle, the higher the resolution the more demanding workload on the GPU, thus less frame output, thus less CPU workload.
You are sooo wrong. Go to this video and see for yourself. Even after the changes, this GPU is still main thread limited kzhead.info/sun/nNSjaZaDeZVvopE/bejne.html I have a 13900FK processor and a 3080 GPU, and the CPU main thread is almost always the bottleneck because the app is single thread. Microsoft is going to finally (after decades of being main thread limited) going to release a new Flight Simulator in 2024 that will run on multiple cores. The developer's tookit in the upper right of the video will show you the message that says the CPU is main thread limited, and the only way to improve things is to unload the CPU, but even running the object and terrain detail settings at about half, the main thread is almost alway what limits me. MSFS is and has always been main tread limited. Thats daf^ck I am talking about.
Why are Motion blur and Depth of field always on in benchmarks i see... I assume a majority of people turn off both of these settings. (first thing i do in any game is turn off those two)

Really good cpu cooling ! But doesnt make sense for me that its 120 mm ! They always recommend minimum 240mm!. Searching for a good cooling seems like the best would be custom cooling or arctic liquid freezer ll 420mm. This cpu is a beast , i think i may go with deepcool 360mm cause arctic 420mm is out of stock.

8k will never be a thing because it's too demanding and 99.9% of people won't be able to afford those 1500-2000$ cards. Ps5 and xsx in 4k use upscaling in most games as well so we can keep dreaming for next 20 years. And most importantly difference between 4k and 8k is not worth the hassle. 4k with great contrast, brightness and color range and depth will always be better than mediocre display even with 16k

what settings for the cpu that reaches a maximum of 60 degrees because I have an i9 13900ks and it reaches about 80 degrees, then I have a 4090 strix oc and I set the power limit at 120% and in 1080p it reaches 70 degrees
i am fully satisfied when its possible to reach 144 fps on 16k.

Plague tale is so graphic intensive
For me, the ideal is 1080P and for me there was disappointment with the fact that the cyberpunk FPS was not 300 on full hd
that is a very bad optimized game, the CPU is the bottleneck, it cannot keep up with the GPU at that resolution.

To truly see the difference you must watch the content on a 4k display. You only get a glimpse of the difference otherwise, not to mention the video needs to be rendered at equal or better resolution than shown. E.g. everything looks better on a real system made for 4k. 8k is not really a thing yet

I’m getting my 4090 before I can upgrade my monitor, so I’ll be using it with a 1080p monitor for now. People told me to upgrade my monitor before my gpu, because a 4090 running with a 1080p would be a waste. Well, I currently have a gtx 1660 super and that has 8GB of vram…. I get average fps of 30-40. I’ll eventually get a 4k monitor, but a new gpu is more important imo
Get the gpu and don’t even think of delaying that monitor upgrade, imo at 1080p there isn’t even a point to playing at max settings because it looks like ass ngl

This card is good for 4k 240hz Tbh nobody plays at 8k Even most of us don't even play at 4k 2k 240 hz is new best setting these days & for that 12gb vram gpu are good enough. Microsoft Flight Simulator is still brutal on frame rates nearly 3 years after release
I' dont think that at least not for the 4090 and high end gpus but what is for sure is that the game is extremally cpu intensive if you noticed in benchmarks, even at 4k, the 4090 was delivering a high refresh rate experience and gpu usage was fluctuating a lot and even went down to 60%, with a faster cpu it will be 120+ fps all of the time. At 8k the VRAM was completely maxed out and the RAM usage went by a lot to 20gb but it was a +30fps most of the time. All this was without frame generation and DLSS 2
@@ahmedgharbi1286 well for the 8k footage he was flying right next to the skyscrapers of manhatten which he wasnt doing with 4k or other resolutions. i'm sure it would have dropped many frames if he had shown that too for 4k and not been "120+ fps all of the time"
By the time Cyberpunk2077 can run at 60 fps in 4k and 144> on 1080p it will be 2077
It can run now as well at those fps without upscaling, as long as you keep rt turned off.

They really didnt take 1080p into consideration when building this card huh. Its up to the developers i guess. Thank you God of War at least

It's honestly crazy that the 4090 can handle forza horizon 5 at 8k resolution and getting above 30 fps

8K for sure not playable, 4k is playable on some titles if you don't mind sub 100 fps. I'll stick to my 3080TI for the time being on 1440P should be more than good until they release something that actually gives no less than 144 fps on 4k

I was gonna get another oled but its time to go 8k this year eyes on a qn800c I have alot of old games I want to go back and play in 8k max payne 3 being one of them and shadow of mordor and the tomb raider 2013 alot of games I know would run and look good in 8k its just nobody is putting out content in 8k gaming and the best thing about this tv is it will run 4k @ 120hz
