The 4K performance is just stunning. Power consumption isn't as bad as I was expecting too.
The power draws are frequently in the 300W range, regularly dropping down into the 200's. That's much more efficient than I was expecting.
The cooler is overbuilt, plain and simple.

I second this. After seeing many other reviews. Too many people just show the data regarding benchmarks/general performance which is okay, but I think showing straight forward gameplay & real time testing is better! As it gives the viewer a good idea of what to expect, assuming they plan to purchase an RTX 4090.

I was sick and tired of watching benchmarks for games like these where some channels would just stand still, walk in and out of buildings to get performance.

Holy cow this isn't just a generational leap this is a generational launch didn't expect it also I loved the skit at the start lol.
Problem is most results are with DLSS 3. Which interpolate frames. Raster performance without DLSS is not that impressive. Especially not between the 3080 and 4080.

@@DrakyHRT 2x in what game? The 4090 only gets 2x the performance with DLSS 3 according to HBU, GamersNexus and many other reviews. And in Nvidias OWN Benchmark (3 games) the rasterization with no DLSS, the 4080 12Gb is slower than the 3090 and the 4080 16gb is not much faster than the 3090. A 3090 today is cheaper than the upcoming prices for the 4080 12gb which is hilarious.

Please stop misleading people. This is not a performance benchmark. The FPS is literally faked with frames that has no relation to your input. It only raises your input lag a lot. FPS has got little to do with performance when it comes to Nvidia.. so stop saying "performance" this is just AI drawing and predicting frames for you.

@@MrGenobossA 4090 is around 2k and you could really easily get one for less to, but 120k a year is not necessary to afford a 4090. 120k devided by 12 is 10k a month and you could buy 5 4090's per month. Yea I know what kind of living costs there are, but lets just say all the necessary and luxery costs combined are gonna be 3k a month than you could still buy 2 4090's a month and have a shit ton of money left each month.

Love your videos man. Btw when you are testing apex on usually low end cards try to disable the shadows completely (can be done via config file). It helps a lot in fps increase. *ik its a 4090 video just wanted to point this out*

The Frame generation is a cool idea, but for some reason, i can see so much pop in and out, especially with lettering like in the signs on CP77.

Great video as always but man, I'd love to see what sorta FPS you get in Warzone at 1080p, I'm just imagining someone spending the $1600+ on a 4090 to potentially reach the frame rates to cap out their 360 Hz monitor finally.
It's not possible with current CPUs. 1080p is very CPU intensive compared to 4K, you won't get any boost fps wise. I don't think even the Ryzen 9 7950X3D or the i9-13900K could give such frames in 1080p with an RTX 4090.
i want to ask you about the new cpu 1700 socket from intel, is a new pentium or celeron good enough for gaming? or something low budget amd or 1200 socket intel too
Wow, my 3050 gets half these frames... at 1080p. Insane seeing how far the difference between entry level and ultra high end is nowadays.
3050 is also a amazing card. Not even a little bit close to the performance of the 4090, but it's price, power draw and performance are great. 3050 is not a entry card. I would litterly argue that anything above gtx 900 series, so 1060 or above is not a entry card. I don't know what the amd equivallent to the 10 series is.

playing on a 1440p with a 3080 rtx atm think of skipping the 40 series im gonna wait 50 series to come out, but other than that magnificient gpu indeed great 4k gaming experience tried it once on cyperpunk
Still super impressive to see the 5800X3D push the 4090 more often then not.
That's also thanks to frame generation which helps with decreasing cpu bottlenecks. The 7950x3d which is a thing for a few months now is way, way faster than the 5800x3d and can keep up with the 4090 at not just 4kz but also 1440p quite well. That doesn't take away the fact the 5800x3d is a legendary cpu and a beast.
