The $500 one was INSANE. Literally Minecraft Redstone Artillery.
It might be great tech but it isn't very unique. Similar things existed already for about ten years (but this exact design was probably made possible by powdered snow so such designs "only" exist since a bit after powdered snow got added to the game).

The chunk blaster was honestly 2nd place for me. How easy it is to use and how relatively small it is for what it does is incredible. The range is astounding

i guess depends on its requirements theres a better cannon there with much bigger range but it has its server tweaks requirements
also crashes server every other time
If you want to literally NUKE your friend, you should check out cubic meters orbital strike cannon
Reminds me of cubicmeters orbital strike canon You just got an accurately modeled nuke dropped in your base from hundreds of thousands of blocks away
Someone did do a similar build for one of sipovers events. Basically an orbital cannon that has pretty much infinite range and would insta kill through any armor if hit directly. Extremely accurate but due to delays and having to be extremely accurate it was hard to hit a moving player. But it hit all the way down to bedrock.
As a Minecraft redstone enthusiast, I can confirm McYum is the best redstoner.

As someone who made a chess application and (a really bad) engine, do not underestimate that last build. That guy is legitimately a genius for that. It is not an easy thing to do, let alone with vanilla redstone

u should definatly do the ratings AFTER you see everything, cause then u dont give the first one a really high score, then get to the really epic stuff, which losses to the random high score form the beginning.

It is humongous. You can get very similar effectiveness in PVP in a cannon that has a volume of ~100-2000 blocks (how many blocks exactly depends on how deep you want to dig/ how wide the damage should be - digging out a complete chunk isn't very effective in PVP btw since the lag warns the player, that something might be off)

The chunk blaster is easily my personal favorite. It's exactly what I envisioned when I searched for "redstone weapons".
Bro how tf did you not give the chunk destroyer at least a 28/30 that fact that you can just, SELECT A CHUNK WITH A 1k BLOCK RANGE AND TNT WILL PHYSICALLY MOVE TO THAT LOCATION WITH EXTREME PRECISION is… I would’ve said impossible in minecraft before this.
cubicmetre made one that has even bigger range, from what I know the one he made doesnt have a range limit but takes a long time to charge depending on far the target is.
And cubics cannon is still not the best (except for the visuals maybe) by a margin.
i think its less complex than 2D minecraft and the chess ai, i built a chunk nuker from a tutorial. because there wasn't much involved. never be able to build the chess ai in survival

If you liked the Chunk Blaster, you should check out the Orbital Strike Cannon. I don't remember who made it, but it's amazing. That machine can hit practically anywhere in the world with a customizable payload. You can send a nuke (mushroom cloud made of TNT included), a stub charge (basically a chunk remover), a variation of the stub charge that stops at a specific depth then excavate a ring around it underground, just a random falling block, or anything you can figure out using the interface.
It's nice to see McYum back! Welcome back to the yummy life, man!

Yeah blockfish was high af to give that kind of eval Sammyuri’s bot can’t really see that far in the future… it’s evaluations are less accurate than what I can do just with my brain in moments… very cool though. Just not good at chess at all
After watching each build ... I have to say the chess one deserves the win, but the 500 chunk destroyer should be a close second ... That build is amazing and was so efficient

That’s cool and all. Anyways, here’s a Chocolate Fudge Cake Recipe! Enjoy! 150ml sunflower oil, plus extra for the tin 175g self-raising flour 2 tbsp cocoa powder 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda 150g caster sugar 2 tbsp golden syrup 2 large eggs, lightly beaten 150ml semi-skimmed milk For the icing 100g unsalted butter 225g icing sugar 40g cocoa powder 2½ tbsp milk (a little more if needed) STEP 1 Heat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Oil and line the base of two 18cm sandwich tins. Sieve the flour, cocoa powder and bicarbonate of soda into a bowl. Add the caster sugar and mix well. STEP 2 Make a well in the centre and add the golden syrup, eggs, sunflower oil and milk. Beat well with an electric whisk until smooth. STEP 3 Pour the mixture into the two tins and bake for 25-30 mins until risen and firm to the touch. Remove from oven, leave to cool for 10 mins before turning out onto a cooling rack. STEP 4 To make the icing, beat the unsalted butter in a bowl until soft. Gradually sieve and beat in the icing sugar and cocoa powder, then add enough of the milk to make the icing fluffy and spreadable. STEP 5 Sandwich the two cakes together with the butter icing and cover the sides and the top of the cake with more icing.

The final build used command blocks, there is no way to change blocks as quickly as it did to even do it at all you need pistons.
No. I suppose that final build was created in MCHPRS - Minecraft High Performance Redstone Server, which is tailored for the use of computational redstone. Many features that exist in Vanilla Minecraft servers don't exist here, such as speeding up the redstone ticks to thousands (or more) per second.

I'm assuming it uses a texture pack to allow for a full color screen, similar to what mattbatwings uses in his recent videos. From what I understand, it adds a solid color texture to the front of redstone dust, and since redstone changes its texture based off of its signal strength, different colors are able to be assigned to different signal strengths.
