Green was incredibly well balanced - they prioritized not only smarts, but aesthetics, too. Really, their only mistake was forgetting to load the TNT dupers. Had me rooting for them the whole time

@@gabrieltona5833 they managed to create a clone of an item, in this case a totem. It's not duping cause the clones are actually connected, if you destroy one even the other will destroy itself (even if in a chest). So basically they put the shadow-clone in the chest and the clone disappearing would trigger the enderpearl to activate.

This was SOOO AMAZING, words cannot express how entertaining and absolutely amazing this video was It felt like a movie and its so incredible to see how the civilizations grow and prepare with tactics and intelligence
Can I just say that as one of the participants I really appreciate Sip's no bullshit approach. Most other civilization building videos here on YT seem to be a partially staged role-play. In this competition we were just told how civilizations will be scored at the end and given a week and a half to build/do whatever we wanted in our areas. Plain and simple. The only items given to us were one elytra each day and a couple of empty shulker boxes, since these items were not accessible to us in the End because of the world border. So we indeed had to gather resources for everything that we wanted to build. The rules were also pretty reasonable: No hacks, no item duping (TNT/rail/carpet duping tech was allowed), no sabotaging others before the fight day and a few limitations for the fight itself. All in all this was a super fun competition for me. I had to come up with a new design of TNT dupers, because our civ didn't have many coral fans. I also designed the lava blade casting machine that performed quite well on the blue side. Plus a lot of farms, caving and building. Thank you to everyone involved for being awesome and congratulations to the winners.
Glad it was so simple and really just showcased everyone's skills. I find that the role play stuff is rather boring and slow, and you have to keep up with it alot to understand all the lore, but this was just a fun competition compacted into a 20 minute video. :)

the immortality machine works by using a dupe of the item thats in their inventory so when they pop a totem. one of the ones in the dispenser pops aswell, once they dispenser runs out of totems, an observer will activate a pearl and send them back

the "immortality machine" its called item shadowing you can find videos on it to understand more about what im going to say. basically with that machine they copied the item in a way where anything that happens to any copy happens to the other copy. if its broken or used up, the other item does aswell. they put totems in a chest linked to the totems in their hands. when the totem gets used on the player the totem also disappears in the chest. they can detect the empty chest and activate the ender pearl stasis chambers. hopefully that helped!

The bombers in the air dropping bombs while the flak(fireballs) attempt to shoot them down was so surreal and really did seem like WWII

Green's survivalbility was amazing, their extra lives and recalls makes them the best in PVP instantly. No one ever thought of this and every civilization simulation I've seen, is when no one has ever done this with stasis pearls.
Yeah the only way to beat them was to raid the immortality machine early on

As a person who likes tactics and wars: The green civilization's tactic of coming back to the underground bunker was amazing and it blew my mind when i saw it in action.
You can't imagine how much we were shaking when the totem was about to pop, if the machine didn't work it was game over. And I did it like 3 or 4 times during the battle... Stressful event, like so much stress.

Can I just say that out of all the events I've participated in, this was by far the best one in terms of just the sheer freedom I felt while playing. It didn't feel like we were shooting a movie where we had to worry about storylines (such as in basically every other civilisation video) and instead we were just able to play our natural game together as friends and I think that really comes through in this video. Thanks sip for inviting me on, it was a pleasure and I'm glad I met so many new people too :)

This Minecraft civilization was pretty unique, they respawn if they die, duping is allowed and there are 3 different easily accessible end portals. Congrats to the team that won.

Stasis chambers are absolutely OP. I'm not smart enough for the automatic ones, but we have used them before in battles, where you'd just scream loudly that you're dying and one teammate who was in the secret bunker (best case scenario above where the battle's taking place) not too far away would just teleport you back. Such a design is super easy to set up. Bombers are also cool but I've never seen them be used at such a scale. And then there's the pvp'ers. Mad respect to them, I still lose battles where I'm significantly better geared.
I wanna see more like this, no drama or obviously scripted events, just people working as a team to secure a victory

@@Aple525 Because camping such a smart play fing wild animals do that. Not so smart if a animal with 30 iq is camping to capture its prey which shows its not hard to do. It actually takes skill to fight stregicly that's why there's battle plans movements used for offense attacks camping doesn't require anything but sitting down and waiting. Thats why blue was taking out red because of there fighting tactics not just sitting at base the entire game because you can't pvp so you attack a wound opponent which is a cowerd move. That's all green did was wait because they knew the would have lost if they gotten out of there spawn because they suck at fighting. "Play smart wait out your opponents." that's it wow such a brilliant idea. 1 sentences how much brain power did it take to come up with that not much so telling to use my brain when you're over here saying they were smart by using Mickey mouse tactics or something a 4 year old could understand with no problem. There booby traps failed misrebly only trapped one guy just to escape sad. Also all there offensive attacks failed shows how good they really are.

I respect the heck out of green. Where red and blue's tensions rose, they stayed out of conflict pre-doomsday, instead focusing on bettering themselves. Their fighting strategies mostly played on stealth, which is great as most just focused on bombarding as soon as the barriers opened. Even though their cannons didn't work, you know they would be deadly if they did. In the end, they fought as hard as they could but understood when to retract themselves and let the other teams fight it out. Also, their aesthetic rocks. Mad respect.
They were in general just the single most prepared, hell, they even booby trapped their own base in anticipation of the fact that if they ended up getting absolutely folded by the other teams, that they could fall back

on 100 percent totally agree as an ranker in one of the BIGGEST war (about 100-200 player in one server) I would say people should listen to the commanders well (im talking about roblox that game yes)

Green’s spawn was absolutely OP. That combined with their immortality machine broke the game.
We had a vague map to choose a team before the event started. I knew green would be a very nice place to live so thats what I joined. But all the big names were in blue and red so we struggled to get as many player even with the cool biome. Glad I made this choice.

The best civilization video I have seen so far, no story bs, just some of the most skilled and smartest players making OP farms, red stone doom machines, and other crazy stuff. Really unique and props for doing this!
Sipover's Simulation in a sense 'debunks' Magic-Gum. At least in both the sense of what Magic-Gum expected how advanced Civilizations would become and therefore in the sense how they would even need to ever found Kingdoms and Steal from Each Other. Real Players just surpassed Magic-Gum's Fantasy.

I really liked this video, because it showed what is truly needed for a power to rise in not only mc, but probably in the world. A balance of different talents is definitely needed, and in my opinion green had that balance of good pvp’ers, builders, and red stone industrialization specialists. Amazing video.

Works with items shadowing. The totem is basically in the players inventory and a chest near the stasis chamber simultaneously. When the totem gets used by the player, it disappears in the chest, it's fill level changes, triggering the stasis chamber. Will be patched in 1.19 sadly.

The respawner system for detecting when they were low on totems is an absolute tank of a system

Definitely the most entertaining, especially because of the time they had and the skill of each player. (spoiler) I wasn't expecting green team to win, Usually the team that spends time on aesthetics loses immediately.

As a child in 2015 I dreamed about servers, where you can play like you are in a country and trade, fight and build with others. I can't belive it it became reality. And even the redstone engineers there. I'm so happy. Thank you
