Would you buy the ASUS ROG PUGIO II Mouse? If not, why not ?
@Qman 25 proshop.de
Yes if I have the chance.
I would, but there are still no PTFE-Feets avaiable so its very sticky and not worth it for now. Unfortunately
have pugio 1 and i like the design much more. This design is cheaper to produce than its predecessor. From its angles to is grip. Transparent plastic feels cheap as well. RGB barely noticeable. Besides the blue tooth/wireless feature feels like a regression in every sense.
I just came across this mouse. It's quite nice TBH and I did try out the Impact II Wireless. The clicks are lightweight which is good for fast paced shooters and eSports but a bit of a quirk in normal tasks. Being able to swap out the switches is what makes these ROG mice really good. What I don't like is being forced to use Armoury Crate as it digs deep into your system like a tick.
8:00 it's not backwards, it makes all the sense. If you're in 2.4ghz mode, you see the 2.4ghz logo. If you're in bluetooth mode, you see the bluetooth logo. It couldn't be any other way. Good review!
yes common sense says the active state is the one that has a visible logo. Imagine having an on off switch like some mice. According to the reviewer it should be on when the off button label is showing. That is completely wrong.
Commentbait!
Covering the Bluetooth to reveal the 2.4 wireless makes sense so at quick look you can flip it over. See 2.4 and know you are on wireless
Just bought this today, and it's very impressive!
Can you assign the side buttons like: Left side Browse Forward/Back Right side Copy/Paste ? Using the armoury crate software?
What's the release date for this mouse?
No click demo? How noisy is it?
I really like asus making more wireless mice. I just hope their software was more stable. I have a Spatha but it's extremely unusable because the software is ruining it's tracking. Now i have a $150 paperweight
maybe theres more settings opions for it in the armoury crate, people keep going on about it being bad but that's not been my experience maybe in the past it was but it certainly has been doing fine on my modern hardware I've been hooking up my rog cetra true wireless earphones and well the experience has been pretty good I also manage my rgb ram and strix 40 series gpu to it I love the starry night setting set to maroon background with red stars!!
Is there an option to map keyboard function buttons? (F13-F24)? I can't do this in this poor software. ;-;
It's so similar to the Viper. Nice.
It's weird that user changeable switches doesn't seem to be a common feature. Switches are one of the most wear prone parts of a mouse after all. It feels like Asus is the first OEM to allow people to change the wheels on their car without voiding the warranty.
Pretty sure the reason why other OEMs don't make hot swappable switch mice is because Asus patented it. They literally can't
It's a really nice feature but coming across switches to try out means you have to shop at Amazon or very niche PC shops online and shipping takes a while. Asus needs to offer more switches and make them readily available as the ones in my Impact II Wireless are a bit too quick/ lightweight for my tastes (great for FPS games but not so much in basic desktop tasks) and would rather get some heavier Japanese Omrons or Huano switches.
Hey My Guy I just purchased the mouse of of amazon i have not used a mouse since back in middle school i am very excited im a small youtuber growing and grinding and to achieve more views and more subscribers grind dont stop and im put this tp the test with my asus republic of gamers gaming laptop
Is this like a g pro wireless?
Can i remove the battery and use it as wired?
Maybe the most unique and the best overal mouse available today. Only wireless charging is lack there.
So many good mice to get these days. I can't decide which one to buy...
So what sensor ?
How hard is it to understand, Just use a 3D printer to make a customized logo
have pugio 1 and i like the design much more. This design is cheaper to produce than its predecessor. From its angles to is grip. Transparent plastic feels cheap as well. RGB barely noticeable. Besides the blue tooth/wireless feature feels like a regression in every sense. This cost quite more than the initial pugio.
I don't think you write one true sentence !? Mice sure isn't twice as expensive as a pugio 1 if price is from 75-99$. Everyone except you praises the transparent plastic case so I don't know what you're talking about. In the end how is the flawless wireless connection a step back for this model?!?!
Yeah the wireless controller is working properly, maybe they should make a different ROG branch for mac users where all logic is inverted.
Depends on the price, which was not mentioned
It was not said, because ASUS still haven't given us a price as we went to publication today. sadly. we will update this when we find out.
it looks good but i am so used to armoury crate so imma use armoury crate instead esp because i have the scar 3 laptop and it comes with it
How is it recharged? Wireless?
USB-C obviously, that's why there's a cable @@
@@izzyarland5304 obviously they have a cable also for if you want it to be wired for a better response time, still dose not tell me if it has wireless charging but thanks for the troll
@@mackey631 didn't mean to offend, apologies if it sounded like a troll. I really don't think this one has Qi or something similar.
Charging is via USB. From the user manual, "The LEDs on your gaming mouse will turn red (breathing) when the battery is below 25% in Bluetooth or RF 2.5G mode. You may charge your gaming mouse by using the bundled USB cable."
but there is no dongo for this mouse? bad to hear it
The pros of this mouse are great and the cons are really nowhere to be found
📝
Dude why don’t you freaking give us the link for the darn thing. How do you have subscribers!??
Once again you guys are using old software, Armoury Crate is the new software.
first pugio has much cooler design than this.
True XD
Trust me! It's a should NOT buy Gaming Mouse. it's going to be worse when playing games
