Why y’all assume there will be a death. The series could end with Rick and Michone getting married. It could end with Rick finally returning and seeing his children. Seems pretty moving to me. I don’t see the CRM being defeated just yet if that’s the route they go. Not unless it’s rushed anyway but the pacing has been decent so far

Michonne is the walking dead! The show will be so dry without her! It literally just be Rick by himself! When he lost Lori he had Carl,mich and judith! When he lost Carl he had Mich and Daryl, but he Mich dies he’ll literally be by himself at the crm!

Glenn’s death followed the comics and introduced one of the best characters on this show. I think ol Rick can carry this show without michonne

I strongly believe there will be a season 2. However, if there isn't, both will live to keep the door open for the big crossover Gimple is planning for the future.
Honestly only feel like rick is the only one safe only because of how he was in the beginning he wasn’t ricks meaning we only really got 3 episodes of rick even when he was trying to escape he was a broken version of the rick we knew I also remember there being a interview talk about getting red machete rick and katana michonne I think we got a lot of the katana michonne plus now she has the generals sword rick hasn’t done anything too crazy I do see him going into that mode if something happens to michonne

This is just me spit balling a theory but what if back in Daryl Dixon when carol radios Daryl about someone coming back it actually was Rick and that’s why carol was upset because Michonne died and she didn’t want to tell Daryl yet. I think it’s almost fitting considering carol went to go find Daryl and will play a role in season 2 of Daryl Dixon. But far fetched. I personally still feel like it was Morgan but I wanted to try an alternative theory

💯 I needed a little convincing, but Danai and Andy didn't come back for one of the characters to die.
Just as likely as it is for Michonne to die, I think there are two other possibilities that I could just as easily see being something making long-time fans emotional: 1) death of Gabriel, 2) Rick most likely will talk to Judith and RJ over radio. I don’t see that he makes it back to see Judith and RJ already so soon.

"Moving" doesnt mean death or a death... moving to me would be ep 4 or the end of ep 5. Those were "moving" moments. Something positive.

Tbh if they kill Michonne off, it will be cheap and underwhelming. Unless Danai wants to leave, which she hasn't really indicated btw, Gimple isn't gonna kill her off. Also, Gimple is known to troll, even with the original series. They probably made it a limited series because they didn't know how well it would do. The leads are executive producers and their characters are too important to the story. To bring them both back just to kill one off is so stupid.
She did say, she can not doing anymore seasons because of scheduling conflicts... They said, it's a completion to the love story, that's why I expect one to D ! E 💔
One thing I think you’re forgetting is this is a love story and they’re marketing as an epic love story. So sure while it may be going too well for a regular season of the walking dead if you look at the context of this being ultimately a love story- it doesn’t make sense to kill either off. I also can’t see Danai coming back just for Michonne to die- that’s silly and letting fans down and she’s said this is for the fans. There’s far too many other factors for Michonne dying to make sense.

I heard they took that set down after The Walking Dead was over so they would have to rebuild it up again.
I guess it would be fine if any of them die, but come on, it has to be before they re-unite with everyone, tell everyone about the CRM, etc and have one of them or both die in future seasons or like a endgame spin-off, it feels too early.
Remember in Rick’s dream, Carl disappears. But what happened to Michonne? She got set alight. And right now, she has Nat’s lighter with the word ‘DANGER’ on it. I really hope it’s not true but if Michonne dies, we may be in for a really crazy finale.

I think richonne will know the crm plan and its very evil that alexandria or cmmonwealth will be in danger that they need a plan to fight since jadis and the evidence is gone they will retreat from now and they got home,michonne finding rick story properly ended but crm still exist so season 2 if they want.
She hinted in an interview earlier in the year that she was looking forward to “completing Michone’s story” or something to that effect. I been thinking this is finale for her.
thing that would bring people to tears in with this series is watching. Either one of them die, or both of them die and reunited with Carl like they did when Rick died at the bridge. That is how they would be able to end this series.
OK here’s a theory Rick and Michon make it back general gets a hold of them and spills the tea on Jadis letting him know everything then goes on and says hey, I have your kids right here do as I say or I am ending them and Rick has to comply or lose all three that he just got back all at once, ….
What if Michonne gets bit and Rick finds out as part of the echelong briefing that a cure exists. This could end on the assumption she will die. But season 2 could be he’s after a cure?

Definitely not her dying , rick has huge red flags of dying even when his child calls him * the braveman* he will be brave enough to stop crm and sacrifice himself in doing so. The briefing they giving to the elists is that they have a nuclear war head available and functioning and plan to use it.
The only ending that would make sense is where they find a cure and start addressing the walkers in an organised way, particularly in the cities and around industrial areas. After all these Zombies are slower than cattle... Jadis had a very effective way in her lair to turn them into mush...
As far as the ending for ep 6 I think the Crm destroying Alexandria would be moving to see. For so long Daryl and them thought Rick was dead. If Alexandria gets destroyed now Rick will think everyone’s dead. I feel like it’d make the reunion so much more emotional and crazy
Killing Michonne and Rick makes absolutely no sense. She went on a mission to find and bring her husband and kid's father home. If that does not happen, then this series was a complete waste of time. And I don't know about anyone else but killing characters that you become invested in is not compelling TV. With TWD it has gotten pretty boring. People can do other stuff besides die.

People say how if this ends with just 6 episodes this will feel rushed but they did ricks backstory in 1 episode so wrapping up the series with episode 6 wouldn’t seem so impossible for me I think people just would have liked more.I think this show is going to end in a way where Rick and Machone return home but the CRM still exists and I also believe pearl thorne will be the leader of the CRM.And another prediction is that the Civic Republican may move away from the CRM because all the secrets Machone is going to reveal to them.

Oh if it ends with Michonne dead it would be typical Scott Gimple to ruin a great story! And I'll forever hate that mf!! And never watch anything he makes again. Rick's purpose is to live for his family. Gimple ruined that with Carl's death! Years and years apart. Losing his hand. All of that just gets snuffed out with Michonne dying?? Nah. Remember folks. There where 2 helicopters flew over Father Gabriel he didn't have that crate he normally carries when he meet Jadis.. and he started praying . . I think this is Rick and Michone but who is following them back to Alexandria
Rick holding his hands up is in fact, Alexandria gate, the 2 of them holding each other with the helicopter in the back ground is them landing there after taking out the leaders of the crm meeting, and rick goes up to the gate as the commonwealth soldiers are there....with hands up asks michonne to stay back and morgon pops up at the gate.....😢
No Rick is at the CRM Cascadia base in that still frame.

Exactly! Gimple already said he'd like to have one big crossover show in the future. They wouldn't kill off the top 2 characters, especially with these record breaking ratings. It's safe to assume, Rick, Michonne, Daryl, Carol, Maggie and maybe even Negan will survive during their respective spinoffs.

Let's remember Andrew Lincoln left the show to spend time with his family. Danai left the show because it was clear she was done and was ready for other projects. That is very telling on the return of both of them and who might die

I agree with you, it seems a little sketchy in the fate of michonne, and Rick even! I know Rick dies in the comic story, but maybe they will flip that and kill Michonne off instead? Maybe its just being done on purpose to mess with fans! I'm hearing what you're picking up on and your concerns. I totally see it going absolutely any way, though. They're pretty good at pulling the wool over our eyes! I think they're setting this up to make it look like she will be dying, BUT I really don't see them killing her. At least not here.

What if Alexandria is completely destroyed? She thinks that everyone died but does not realize that many are at the Commonwealth. Also, she doesn't realize Hilltop was completely destroyed from whisperers.

If Michonne dies it will remind me of Ricks arc in the comic book source material when Rick loses his love of his life and partner who in the source material is Andrea who is bitten when saving Alexandria from a massive horde. It devastates Rick. In the Ones Who Live, Rick will be devastated by losing , however because of the “brave man” moniker Michonne has told him that his son RJ and Judith call him, he realizes he cannot die but he must be “The brave man “ who finishes the job and when he finally dies once back in Alexandria or Commonwealth after reuniting with his kids and years pass. He is recognized for saving what’s left of a republic and he is remembered by a statue on monuments day all over the US in the surviving communities. Sort of like the source material.
I think they succeeded at changing the CRM but Rick has to stay to make sure and Michonne goes back home to Alexandria to tell the story of the brave man.
