I really need Negan to know that Rick actually survived. And yes for them to reunite.
And I need Rick to realize the relationship between his daughter and Negan and realize that sparing his life (as Carl would've wanted) is what saved his daughter, not only during that big storm but by being pretty much the leader taking out the next big threats. And Daryl man... are we really gonna finish TWD without having Daryl and Rick reunite? The poor dude looked for a body for years man. That bromance arc needs a proper end.

Seconds after we see Rick embrace his children and season 1 ends Negan walks out the woods and says “ What the SHIT?! RICK!!”
Rick and Daryl reuniting would fulfill 98% of what i want from this show

I think the next conflict will involve the remnants of the actual government who have been living underground in hidden underground bunker cities for 15 years. They were stocked for those 15 years and they finally come out looking for resources and they have actual aircraft and weapons stockpiles that they probably never had to use yet. They take on the CRM/Commonwealth alliance and new chaos ensues. They would have to up the threat level since they now have a multiple city army.

@marc-etiennemercier6584 Don't really care about the rest of them. Big nuke could hit and wipe those random characters out and I'd be fine. I'd include Judith though, RJ can die. Preferably, I'd be willing to accept a major change and just throw Carl in there. Pretend like he never died and you're crazy for thinking so.

rick would be proud of daryl for never stopping looking , and proud of Negan for changing just like he promised keeping him in the cell would do.
I think Negan would love seeing Rick again and be slightly scared at the same time. I can imagine Negan getting on Rick's nerves, in the same way he did to Beta.
He'd figure out soon enough that he saved his children's lives times and times over. If he didn't kill Alpha, they'd pobably all be dead.

Negan reuniting is not on the top of my list. of course he'll hear about what Negan's done and feel good about it. Reuniting with Darryl, Morgan and the rest of his Alexandria family of ppl, Gabriel, Carol, Eugene, Aaron etc i hope to see in a S2 or a S12. Everything else is gravy, not as important. This show was bout them and their kids, not everyone else. so I'm not disappointed. Next show will be about EVERYONE. that will be great to see when it happens, whenever that is.
Personally when they do reboot, they should bring the show back to its roots. The season 1&2 character interactions, the closeness of the group, figuring stuff out together. It doesn't always need to be some crazy villain. The plot can be something like season 4 after the prison, on the road, different characters together, getting to see interesting dynamics like Daryl & beth together. The last few years it's like they think they need a bigger badder villain every season. When in reality the best parts of the show are not plot driven at all. It's the characters looking for Sophia at the farm or keeping watch at the Atlanta camp, growing stuff at the prison, making a run for meds.
There could be a very emotional scene when Gabriel sees Michonne and Rick ... then he sees the ring and finds out they killed his boo!
But technically a walker “killed” her they just made sure she didn’t turn 🧟

Well it took them this long to adapt rick having one hand. I dont think that is necessarily a bad thing because fan favorite characters like merle and Daryl Dixon dont exist in the comics. Scott gimple said his reason for not adapting the comics too closely was so people didnt know what to expect before it happened.
I’m happy with a new spin off or new series of main show aslong as Rick shows up

Negans name hold great power, And great meaning. His is a important character for Rick.

Would love to have seen them go back and see everyone and Rick find about all the ones that were lost. Negan and Rick need to meet before it's over. Need to tie up that one loose end to finish it all. Of course don't forget Daryl either!
I can totally see Negan apologizing to Rick and them working together because Negan did save the group by killing Alpha and Beta (with Daryl). Plus, Negan saved Judith as well. They will have to continue throwing shots at each other to make it interesting. They should make that happen.
Rip Glenn if he does that he's not as loyle of a friend as I tho ught and that would ruin his character for me. Rick wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for Rick and he was never truly honored that's was mast up.

I don't give a fugg what he did that would not change my feelings towards the fact my child would never see his father. If that's a Maggie complex then I'll take it. Would you just let that go?Y'all want good writing and I'll admit walking dead has not always been good at that. But thank good some of y'all arent writing the story cuz you would be worse. Maggie has every rite to her feelings. She should have killed him when mechone gave her the keys to his prison cell. She got it. The only thing I don't like is that she hasn't killed him yet. Rip Glenn he didn't deserve that he was one of the best of them. I love Rick but he did not honor Glenn in the end and Glenn is the only reason Rick is alive today. The only thing I didn't like about his character.

It was already weird that Maggie was on her own with negan! Right, like why not ask Gabe or Arron for help? The commonwealth army? Anyway, if season 2 is about Maggie kind of fighting negan as he take over New York… ricks just gonna hang out in Alexandria? Like yea just let me know how it goes lol that’s goofy

Beale's or the CRM's study that humanity will be gone in 14 years was wrong as Tales 1x05 was like over 30 years in the apocalypse
But Tales is anthology, not everything is canon

Still it could be the last big threat they have to deal with before the series really end. And of top of it, if Daryl brought back some variant from France, it could give us a great show. It's ''The Walking Dead'' afterall, not ''The Walking Vilains''.
Beale was probably full of crap. He just used that prediction to expand his power and territory for his frontline CRM soldiers.
Rick and negan had very cool dynamic in new begining and whisperer war that we saw a little of in season 9 that i would love to see on screen

Depending on how long they was talking to Judith before actually seeing them she probably told them most of what happened if not some things

I think if Rick and Negan meet again Rick is going to give Negan a good punch in the face. Rick is the only living original walking dead character who doesn’t know that Negan has changed and any of the good he’s done like saving his daughter. As far as Rick knows Negan’s still the same monster who used to be leader of the saviors
The problem with Rick meeting Negan is the timeline. The TWD finale ending, Daryl Dixon and TOWL all take place in 2023 and Dead City is set in 2029. Negan couldn’t have met Rick in between as he wasn’t anywhere near them. So there’ll have to be another significant time jump.
Dead city is only 3 years ahead of the end of twd. Look it up.
Negan mentioned it's been 15 years since the world ended. It was 12 years in when twd ended.

I think you are really overstating how much people cared about Beale. Most reactions I've seen to his death were either "meh" or "go rick go"
For real the only thing I was dissapointed with was I wanted to seem him reunite with people like Eugene Carol Gabriel and others at the end of the episode but if that happens down the line I don't really have any problems
Rick & Negan interactions would be great.
I would watch a full episode of rick just sitting down with everyone and have them share their stories since the bridge..
This is definitely starting to remind me of The hundred show on Netflix especially like towards the end if you know you know

Rick reunite with-Dary,Morgan,Negan,Carol,Maggie, and them meeting Sylas-Madison,Alicia,and Dwight and Luciana. Would be a good new season.

Ok after one impossible odds to overcome story (the ones who live) i feel like the three shows coming together is cheesy and not accurate to the tone of the main show. Its a drama show where tragedies happen, if it ends by rick reuniting with daryl/carol/morgan/maggie as they all save the world, its more like a cheesy superhero/avengers movie than a zombie apocalypse show
I really doubt there will be a second season of TOWL. Maybe there will be another show where Rick and Michonne will make a guest appearance(s).
🤣 Nobody is waiting til 2027. Fans have already had enough of these long waits and are sick of it. Fans will walk away and not even care about the show by then. I’m one of them if it takes that long.

i think the negan maggie show is the rick, negan version from the comics. There as of right now is ZERO evidence outside of a slight comment that there is going to be a season 2 of this show.
TOWL was amazing besides that ending it filled all of our needs I think I they were playing it safe and there will be another series of some sort I hope just to close out the show or sum

If Rick wasn't such a generally nice guy I'd expect him to be mad finding out that Negan is out and about, not because he thinks of him as evil, but because the reason of him being left alive was the main reason all of this happened to him, since people, like Daryl, did not agree with his take, but in direct view, it expect him to be a little confused upon seeing him, but then happy that people were able to believe in what he believed in.

Question to all... Did the Commonwealth and their satelite communities (Alexandria etc) joined the alliance between Philadelphia and Portland ? Was that confirmed ? That would be interesting to see in a possible season 2....
It was a good ending. I think there’s no reason for another show. Sometimes you have to just let it go.
