  • I was so glad to see #8 Concord MA on the list. The "rude bridge" where the first shot in the Revolutionary was fired. A serene setting a quarter mile from Concord Center. Nothing fancy. The beginning of a new country.

  • Don’t come to Salem in October. Just a tourist trap and the crowds and traffic are absurd. Come in the “off season.” You can still do almost everything there is to do in October, but there’s far less people and it’s cheaper.
