But it's not just the thrill of the catch that makes this video so special. You'll also get a close-up look at these incredible fish, with stunning underwater footage that shows off their massive size and unique features.
Whether you're a seasoned angler or just a fan of incredible fishing videos, this is one video you won't want to miss. So sit back, grab some popcorn, and get ready to be blown away by the sheer size and power of the Goliath Grouper
The Goliath Grouper is a large, heavy-bodied fish native to the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. It can grow up to 8 feet long and weigh up to 800 pounds. The Goliath Grouper is a slow-moving, solitary predator that feeds on a variety of fish and crustaceans, and is often found around shipwrecks and other underwater structures. Due to overfishing, the Goliath Grouper was listed as an endangered species in 1990, and fishing for it is now prohibited in US waters. Conservation efforts are underway to help the species recover.
Ramp monsters are giant salt water fish in the Boat Ramp canals on 15th street in Fort Lauderdale known for their incredible strength and immense size. They are called ramp monsters because they are found at the Boat Ramp, causing havoc and destruction in their wake. These beasts are said to be nearly unstoppable, and many who have encountered them have not succeeded. Some believe that they are guardians of the deep, while others see them as harbingers of doom. Regardless of their true nature, one thing is certain: ramp monsters are a force to be reckoned with.

All that will happen is you get your jaw pulled, you play tug o war for a few minutes, you swim under the dock a little, roll over and say uncle and taa daa.....a free meal. Oh yea...try to rack his nuts a few times for grins...go ahead take the bait. laugh....

  • A pair of pliers would be handy for the hook! Keep some on you at all times (I use forceps myself but the fish I catch ain’t a tenth that big). Plus have you ever thought of investing in a harness for the rod, instead of using your ball sack and ass crack? Just a thought.

  • Stainless hook?? That fish is 💀

    @kyungkim805.@kyungkim805.6 жыл бұрын
    • Kyung Kim805 - That's what I'm wondering, too. Stainless steel hooks should be phased out, especially in the larger sizes, because they do not rust out quickly enough to save the fish's life, like non stainless hooks, and big fish break off much more often than smaller ones. No large hooks should be stainless. An exception MIGHT be OK for lures, though it would be best to stop allowing the use of ANY stainless steel hooks.

It's a fish that sits in the water and eats anything that goes by.
