Something else you may want to know about these is to have a look at the ground. Check out a video by Caseys Customs to see what issues he had. He found the ground was not done well, so he cut it shorter, and put a better connection to the clamp. That improved the welder exponentially.
If the next one fails like this one, i'll take it apart and dig deeper for sure. I already shipped that one back yesterday. Thanks for the idea

I have never seen anything like that. But I also have never ever welded so there's that. lol. Awesome video! would be interesting to see if the replacement dies/burns out too or works better.

Mine works Great iv welded alot with it with no Problem at all , couple of guys i know have sinced ordered one after the seen me weld with mine. I also am a Advanced welder for 38 years so that helped also.

I would just stick with a buzzbox. The new stick welders are smaller now in design, the size of a lunch box. The size of the head on that unit from temu is also a concern for puddle control. I laughed when I first saw these come out.

The enameled copper wire on all windings on all transformers use a section of the wire which is one quarter of the section which is required for the transformer / motor to run continuously. The consequence of this, you must use the device for 5 minutes, and let it cool for one hour. Most electric devices coming from "the far east" use a similar scam technique. The next welding machine will fail all the same.
Let it cool overnight, its toast. Less than 5 minutes total welding time and it was all spaced out even in the time it was used.
Dude are you a manufacturer or seller of those Bird electric scooters? Aren’t those like the Lyft/Ride share bikes??? This my first time seeing your channel, which I was under the impression is an unboxing/review channel and was genuinely confused seeing that many Electric scooters in the backgrounds.

so does it require 110v input, or does it have a battery? why so much burn thru?
110v, and im not sure, the adjustment didnt seem to be very effective but i didnt get a lot of time to test it overall before it died.

To bad it gave out so quickly. I had to buy one for myself to tinker with. Hope it doesn't give out so fast. It looks like it was doing good till it gave out.
Yeah less than ide say 5 total minutes of actual welding time before it died..
U doubt the glass used for stick welding for hundreds of years, you cant weld stick with normal settings on electric masks.
I doubt that the sticks were in great condition due to humidity effecting the weld quality. Especially since my welds are not great as it is.
10 minutes is about 9 more minutes then I would have expected lol😂
I really wasnt sure what to expect, part of me thought it would work fine.. part thought it wouldnt work at all.. Once it started working though, i didnt expect it to die that fast.

TEMU has those for $10 you got ripped off. also TEMU is advertising they are giving them away...
The giving away thing is basically a scam, they will ask you to go through questions, then share a special link to a ton of people you know and in the end you likely wont get anything for free. Also after looking the cheapest version of this welder i can find on all of temu is 62$, if you see one for 10 though please send me the link to my Instagram in messages. My insta is in the description of the videos, would love to take a look.

I agree it was working, until it didnt and it died. Overall the machine did weld just fine, but then smoke came out and it wouldnt turn on anymore @@jashawnwesley9126

Tbh, I'd actually trust a fixed shade over an autodarkener. Honestly, what's going on (or more accurately into) in regard to your retinas during that admittedly super brief propagation delay between arc establishment & full darkening? What a scam I seen an ad while watching a video and it came up free you get to t e m u and its $89 what a scam scam for some junk junk but now that I know they're out there I'm going to look for an American brand
Well i did see some other tubers review them and they had no issues, plus Temu refunded me without question and paid for return shipping. So there is a chance i just got a dud. I will be ordering another one in the near future
