I wanted something a little bigger than a car cause I’m a big guy but with better gas mileage than my old 2011 Nissan Titan (11 and 13 mpg city/hwy). I got a 2022 Buick Encore GX after trying out several. It has a 1.3L 3 cylinder (exact engine as the trailblazer Scotty drove in this video). It drives amazing and has way more power than you’d expect. I do plan on buying a Toyota Tundra or Ford F-150 when I pay off this Encore GX to pull a boat but I can see why he liked this GM. It’s a nice ride. These are fairly new engines so time will tell about their longevity. I’m glad Scotty didn’t hate it. Kinda made me feel better about my purchase! Lol

Even the radiator and oil pan corroded through here, not far from Detroit. I used old tared bed sheets to cover the rust holes in the tops of the fenders and elsewhere. Rustoleum red was a perfect match, and with black on the rocker panels, it looked pretty good from 20ft away. Learned a lot working on that thing.
