Not too loud, not too quiet. Some may say the sound of this 2019 BMW X5 xDrive50i is just right. M.S.R.P. - $91,005.

I was not expecting that beautiful exhaust note ! Wow
The typical german v8 sound👌🏽 I love it😍
Definitely sounds great, Yazeed Albeladi. Thanks for watching!
AutoAcademics it’s bullshit ....😔 last BMW X5 50i 4.4 v8 (like this engine) have awesome sound, it’s just blblblbl like 2liters without muffler resonator, just just like farting
along with the typical german v8 awful quality. lol
for a non-M vehicle, sounds pretty freaking great!
Yeah, this one had a really nice sound. Thanks for watching, Bill D!
Just because I enjoy your vids so much I watched the “entirety” of a 2:35 sec advertisement at the beginning .. keep up the great work!!!
Thank you, Lance Fisk! We appreciate your support.
Amazing sound boiiii
Yeah, boyeee!
Hi, does this car have M SPORT EXHAUST option? (depending on region this option may be standalone or may be a part of M SPORT PACKAGE)
It sure does, email address. Here's a link to our full review so you can see what else it can do: kzhead.info/sun/l9iTeN5plpWoqH0/bejne.html Thanks for watching!
Hi, I have a 2019 X5 50i. It only sounds like yours at the cold start. after about 5 seconds the valves are closed. Unless i rev up to 4000, i dont hear much (windows down :))) have you modified your exhaust?
No, this car was entirely stock from BMW. Have you tried putting it in Sport mode? That should open up the exhaust valves to make it louder. Hope that helps, Kamyar J, and thanks for watching!
Does the exhaust note and driving impressions make up for the fact you get dirty getting in and out?
Ha! That's a good question, Dwayne Ogilvie. At $90k+, there are probably a few other aspects that should be considered, as well, but the way this vehicle drives and sounds definitely helps. We appreciate your comment. Thanks for watching!
Yea
these n63 soung great ! Just make sure you have about $16k sitting around when it blows up every 50-70k miles or so...
LOL They do sound amazing, B O. Thanks for watching!
@@AutoAcademics was what i said a joke?
oil change every 5k, dont drag strip it everyday, and its great. the old n63 until about 2014 were horrible. the newer n63, in this car, with the TU, is fine.
@@3rdEyeSpeaks they still have issues even with the TU updated version.
@@Bo12346hhgfgdg the 2018 to present engines deal with the heat, and timing issues. none of the old issues
Love the new X5 but that N63 engine is prone to many well known problems!

@@3rdEyeSpeaks i read a lot about it too. I feel for a long distance and daily I would prefer the 40i 3L
