The King of all performance SUVs - The BMW X5. This is a one-of-a-kind, built 17' BMW X5 50i with a custom tune, hybrid turbos, stage 3 transmission tuning, and other supporting mods. Today, we will take it for a POV test drive to find out what it's like to drive. Can a new, stock B58 put up a battle against this powerhouse, despite being rated at 382hp? @@DMCarReviews Well you were in Mexico anyways so it's not a big deal lol. I've still got a bit more work into my 50i to come close but everything is in the works! (Just bought it a couple weeks ago) I am kind of bummed that there's not much content on this platform though.

My 50i 2016 X5 tuned to 542hp. Speedo stops at 263 but car kept going. I had to brake at 276kmph shown on gps (172mph) but recon it would have done 285kmph. For reference my speedo shows 200 when gps shows 190 so if speedo didn't stop it would almost show 300 I recon. Not bad for a 'normal' X5 non M lol.

Not sure! I think it's a sound of the exhaust
I have the same noise sometimes i think its coming from exhaust flaps

I found out that it was the heat shield bolts was loose
I’m not gon lie I don’t think this is 700hp giving the draggy numbers. I ran a 3.66 0-60 n 11.57 to the 1/4 mile I’m just downpipe n tune on e30 no custom tune or anything like that

Definitely not a 700hp truck. Seems to move good but considering its weight and dragy time it more like high 5xx. Still a great daily.
10.9s on the quarter mile for a 5000+ lbs truck is not 500hp.. that's around 700hp. The run you see was with two people, plus I don't know the best way to launch it. The owner has done sub 11s.
What turbos are on this X5? Who makes them?
Hybrid Turbo's. Not sure.
@@DMCarReviews Could you contact the owner and find out what turbos are on that SAV and where he got them. I have the same setup and I’m looking at getting to that 650hp mark with my 50i. There are a few company’s out there that make turbos for that vehicle but some don’t last as long as others.

This isn’t the fastest X5 in America lmao. You can make 700hp with super simple bolt ons and tune. Nothing special
