    • Of course he's next, but it'll be a boring scrappy fight with merab, doesn't excite me at all, only thing is he gets dropped in every fight, but if O Malley puts him down will he stay down? I think Merab could rag doll O Malley to a boring decision. After what O Malley and Sandhagen did to Chito, absolute shut down for 5 rounds the both of them, would make a great scrap them two.

    • I agree totally. Sean definitely practices a lot of very good habits pre fight, He’s got all the right people in the right places for success for sure. Dietition, a special trainer for each level of fighting, wrestling, BJJ, boxing, recovery, cold plunges, supplements etc…… he does it at a higher level than most. Costly but he’s got the money for it and it’s obviously worth it. He keeps impressing for sure. And the level of motivation and discipline is definitely impressive because motivation without discipline is nothing. Surely he just relaxes, drinks and gets high a lot but when it’s time to get ready he clears the slate and makes it happen. That’s awesome.

  • You can't hate on Sean O'malley for saying he will be A "bigger star than MacGregor". Every fighter has to have total confidence in themselves, so i don't see this as O'malley throwing any shade at Connor..

  • Love O’Malley in the octagon, but he has no shot at being McGregor. He has no mic skills, no killer instinct outside of the cage, Conor was so calculated with his words, spoke with confidence. O’Malley is not quick-witted enough. I respect O’Malley for saying “yeah I want to be like Conor” in response to people saying “you’re just trying to be like Conor.” Fighters who talk down on McGregor in terms of MMA, are insane. The man came in and single handedly took the UFC to a whole other level. A fighter who comes in and breaks boundaries and gets more money is a fantastic thing for other fighters. That glass ceiling needs to continuously be broken and McGregor was one of the few to do it, but nobody did it as big as him. Also, look what McGregor did outside the sport, he came in to the UFC and created a whole other revenue stream for fighters by having boxing bouts outside the UFC. Nobody was doing that until McGregor came in. High tide floats all boats; fighters may not like him, but damn do they have to respect what he did in the UFC. The UFC brass should consider themselves blessed too because he came along just as negotiations kicked off to sell the company, they don’t sell for 4.2 without McGregor bringing millions of casual fans to the sport. The man won both ‘45 and ‘55 pound belts in cage warriors. Told the world he’d come to the UFC and take both belts and bounce. He backed up all that sh*t talk that was deemed crazy and arrogant. Hate ‘em or love ‘em, the man did exactly what he said he was going to do, I say good on him.
