🥒 ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.
If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I'm a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

  • I think it's a nice touch to add, that wasn't mentioned is that the indigenous population in Australia is only 3.8% of the entire population. The population of Australia is really weird and unlike most other countries. I think about 30% of all of Australia citizens were born overseas and permanently living here and call this country their home. Meaning we have A LOT of cultures living here. For example India, China, Vietnam, Indonesia. The Chinese population in Australia is at 5.5%. India is at 3.1% The animals cooked and prepared are not endangered and its a privilege to the very small minority of Australia's original inhabitants. Big props to the people acknowledging the huge substance abuse in rural areas for the indigenous peoples in Australia. & Big props to Sonny for not just eating at restaurants!

  • Sonny, this is such a wonderful series to see! Native cultures in Australia being preserved, acknowledged, and appreciated like in your videos are the best possible way to do. I learned so much about the Australian Indigenous, I would also hope one day you can cover about North American Indigenous as well 😊

  • kinda wish that more native herbs/ fruits n veg etc were shown in indigenous Australian cuisine, like i know we do have some stuff in Australia thats not found elsewhere but most vids i have seen dont show them utilizing them which is unfortunate, i get that not every group had access to them in their part of Aus but it would be nice to see some of the more unusual stuff...those snails did look wild though haha

  • I love that you don't just teach us about how they prepare food or what other cultures eat but, you teach us some history of that culture with their hunting of food or gathering of food and how they've prepared their meals for genertions. That's why I love this KZhead channel. I can nevr wait for the next video lol. They are such a delight. Thank you!
