  • You normally create fish habitat in your pond builds. Creating beaver habitat is a first. The homeowners thank you and the beavers certainly are I am sure overjoyed at your progress. Can you bring us back later for an update?

  • Your ability to grade mud was very impressive, Chris. Loved this series, very different, unique and relatable. That should all flush out nicely with spring green up. A little contractors mix and matting on those slopes/dam would go a long way.

  • I’d like to see this pond again when it’s full of water. It looks so much better than when you started but it would look much better if the other land owner would have let you clear out his side too. I’m a little concerned that the head section won’t have enough depth to keep vegetation from growing.

    @davidepool5884@davidepool5884 Жыл бұрын
    • I've read online that you need about 3 feet to prevent plant growth.

      @2badger2@2badger2 Жыл бұрын
    • @@2badger2 water clarity also plays a big role, but 3ft is kind of a general rule.

    • @@2badger2 Yeah I suspect that head section is gonna be full of weeds by summertime. 🤷‍♂️

      @crandonborth@crandonborth Жыл бұрын
    • @@jasonmfshow - the water flowing in there is crystal clear. It’ll be murky fora while, but once it’s full it’ll clear right up. Apparently it was a nice pond before the dam break,,, it would have been pretty shallow then,,,,, fingers crossed. The beavers themselves control the vegetation quite well also. They know how to keep the pond to their likings. 😂😂.
