@@Blazer02LS, Yup, them kids are gonna be pissed !
I really enjoy watching you operate. So smooth, efficient, and deliberate. Every video has some new "well that movement makes total sense" moment. Thanks for sharing!
It looks better now than what it was . Can’t wait to see it finished
What I enjoy about your videos is that you are telling us what you are doing at all times. Steve Liles
Bloody Hell, that's some pile of crap they allowed to grow on the dam! If the pipe hadn't failed, the roots would have destroyed it later.
Another pond. I like these pond repairs. I wonder how much scrap and rusty bikes there are.
Great video, love watching the dam work and pond building.
Very satisfying to watch when the bush is cleared as if heavy earwax removed. Just like using his own hand
I like how Chris keeps his channel free and clear of politics. I’ve gotten off Facebook, instagram, and Reddit cause of it. I come to his channel to decompress and watch the doctor operate with the scalpel. Big thanks👊🏻
Trump 2020 ! Just kidding, I agree.
So cool to watch you fold the tree! You've got so many tricks up your sleeve!
Nice job Chris, you sure make it look easy, the years of experience shows, thanks for sharing.
love the crunch crunch sound of the branches
Definitely a cool project. Looks so much better with everything cleared out
Cant wait for the Burn pile on this one Chris!! Lol! You'll have every Karen from 5 miles around calling the fire department.
meyer629 they are hauling it off. No burn pile methinks
@@cathiwim you are correct! It would've been awesome though! Those vines were nasty! We have what's called Air Potato vines here in Florida. Very invasive. Very similar to Kudzu. But, we have an Air Potato Beetle that eats the leaves! They look like red ladybugs! They do a number on the the vines.
For a job in a HOA like this, he's probably being paid extra to haul it off.
Hey from Texas. I would like to see more of you finishing this project. Please!
Man all those dam vines I kept expecting Tarzan to come sailing out of there!
You keep watchin' for Tarzan, I will keep an eye out for Jane. Much better view.
I feel like they are all "disaster pond projects" haha
Whoever did their brickwork did a good job.
They sure did !
REALLY wish you had playlists because I just found you and find your projects interesting. Had trouble finding the end to a segment. Your explanations are easy to follow. Especially extracting sunk excavators. You evaluate the site and plan of attack, always leaving yourself a safe retreat. Excellent segments.
Eleagnus is the plant that is planted that create the wall on the dam. At least it was planted where its size made sense. Some developers plant them in small residential settings as foundation plants.
Much much more interesting than dredging mud! Great job!
How I love the sound of crunching trees, in the morning.......
Another awesome job!!!!!! It satisfies me to see how you rip out those old vines! You did a great job taking out that old pipe too!
Awesome good job,I bet the residents are a lot more happier. God bless from Australia
Another mission impossible pond maintenance job by Chris and Uncle John . It sure has been a beautiful week in The Piedmont !
I like the start of this. Always a pleasure to watch you work.
I love how delicately he moves the bucket sometimes just to nudge something a bit.
Can't believe all that vegetation on the dam-just asking for trouble, you're the man to get it sorted though Chris 👍
Yea they should keep earthen banks with grass and mowed. It lets you see and also it looks nice.
I find it funny that if you turn on CC, it thinks that the engine hum and crunching trees are music. It literally says "music" when there are no other sounds no talking, No tracks moving etc lol
If I need a pond built, I know who to talk to about it. He is so graceful at this he doesn't even spill his drink.
I used to work in building maintenance; the management rather you band-aid things together rather then spend the money to replace it. The residence will have nice picnic area when you are done Chris. If I lived there would have brought you lunch everyday for getting rid of the eyesore.
Dude, you make that look so easy! Back when I was in my teens my dad, brother and I cleared a path through our woods to put in fencing for our cattle. We had a chainsaw, a hand saw, and a tractor and tow chains. What you did here in less than 15 minutes clearing away those trees and brush would have taken us a half a day at least! Ahhh, having the right equipment and tools is the name of the game! Thanks for the video, please post more!
Chris do you have an outside washing line at home? If you do, I'm wondering if you use the excavator to take the dry clothes off the line and fold them up neatly before taking them in. If you made a nice stack of clothes you could press the bucket on them so you wouldn't need to iron them. Just saying, as I totally think you could do it. 😄
He'd figure out a way I bet. He sure makes it look easy. Like when he pulls a stake out of the ground with a chain never leaving the cab.
Even if he had an inside clothes airer he could reach through the window.
Oh my... the fellow doing the locates for this project is an absolute hero for trudging through that mass of foliage
You are a genius on a trackhoe. Thanks for videos. Fun watching your techniques.
13:35 Chris: This tree looks pretty good and dead, ill yank it out easily. (Part of the dam comes with the trunk of the tree)
Dam young man your pretty brave walking through that crap! I would be afraid of Mr no shoulders lurking around.
Mr.no shoulders wouldn't stick around with all that noise from the excavator
That excavator brings death and destruction to vines, shrubs, saplings and full grown trees - makes the rough places plain. Love it!!!
This project looks a lot more fun than the previous mudder job, Chris.
its amazing to watch this professional do his work an do it slow an steady he makes every move count ha ha I think he could sweep floors with this bucket
As a general contractor for 22 years , I appreciate your strategy. It makes or breaks a guy .And when the plan comes together it’s very satisfying . Thanks for your prospective . Edit ; for a lot of ya , very move Chis makes is money , time is money. Not only money , but integrate , if as it was his .
Yep no wasted movement.
Great job Chris....do you want to get the mud out now....or later. Also, Thank you for fixing the other dam that you worked on twice after the heavy rains we got in the Triangle.
The viewing party will be twisting about you taking away all the privacy and making them overlooked from the other side!
HughzieTube too bad, so sad for them, huh? Lolol
@@cathiwim Imagine if burning the brush on site was permitted!
Amazing how you cleared all that bush without a mulching it. Sir you are a beast much respect to you god bless.
I've heard of folding laundry. Chris folds his trees. Lol God bless
Goodee Goodee, most interesting job that teetering on the edge of disaster, that’s way more exciting, time to save the day Again!👍
It is so cool to see the landscape open before your eyes with a awesome machine like that. I bet the people watching are saying yeah he knows what he is doing. lol
Yeah watching him fold trees effortlessly is super cool. I'm jealous, the biggest excavator I ever got to run was a mini and I just dug a utility trench with it. Would love to get my hands on a machine like that and just get to tear stuff up.
Good job Chris.👍👍🇬🇧
Thank you for leaving the window open so we can hear the crrrrrunnchh as you break the trees.
Turning out to be another excellent viewing project bro. Yall stay safe
I manage three ponds at work. Our biggest one has sprung at least two leaks. It definitely needs fixed but I'm feeling way over my head. Watching you videos makes me wish I had some clue what I was doing.
I enjoy seeing the different drink cups that are always in the holder. Probably the first thing he looks at when buying equipment, the size of the cup holder
Growing up his parents would always say dam son. So when he grew up he became dam master!!!
I’m sure you all watch it because it’s really satisfying but I love the fact of how skilled this guy is, I went back and his oldest videos is years ago, he’s definitely been doing this for awhile and you can tell because of how smooth the excavator is being operated. Or when you use the other tree to break the branch into a smaller piece, good work and love the vids!
The power of your machines is very impressive!!! Trying to clear that out by hard would take hours. Work smarter, not harder. Once again, you do a killer job.
The power of these machines is amazing! Pulls out a mature tree like someone pulling out a weed. Fascinating to watch.
It's amazing watching operators when their machines have turned into an extension of their body.
I was just getting in to it and it's over. I'm retired and you are my daily Entertainment! Please make these longer! Just love watching keep it up!
Great video, can’t wait to see the final transformation.😎😎😎😎👍👍👍👍
I love the way you fold up trees. I will have to try that next time I get a chance. I love running mini exes especially Yanmars. 😀
Spent so much money on wharfs and nothing on pond wall ,it would be great for a walk path along the top . Thanks for sharing people could also fish
There is a 16 hectare lake in my home town that is illegal to fish in now. The city went and made it a bird sanctuary so fishing is no longer allowed. :/ Lost themselves all the fees they used to get from people fishing in it.
@@jaquigreenlees just wondering were is that lake
Well after they are done they will
@@odonnellsaussiehomestead8257 Lost Lagoon in Vancouver BC Canada. man made fresh water lake out of a tidal inlet.

Love the new job it's not mudy as the other job , your doing a great job .
You are the right man for the job, Chris! 😎👍
Your videos bring me back to my younger days. I miss operating heavy equipment. I liked going to work everyday. I imagine if you did it for many years it would get monotonous but I enjoyed it very much. Love the videos.
It will never cease to amaze me how powerful these machines are. I am so surprised someone hasn't figured out a way to weaponize them
I live south of Raleigh in fv. I’ve been wanting to get into this industry for a while. Neat to watch some videos so close to home. I learned a lot
That is the best gardening tool I have ever seen! Beats a whipper snipper... 🤣
CRUNCH>>>CRUNCH>>>Love that sound! Chis, new Nickname, Captain Crunch, LOL!!
so much fun watching someone else skilfully operate a large machine :) would be nice to see a vid where you walk through the controls
It's fun and relaxing to watch a pro work. Very nice.
1:30 in the morning and I'm watching a guy fix a pond dam... I'm cool with that. Kind of relaxing .
Looks a 💯 better already Chris. Take care and be safe Graham🇬🇧🇬🇧🚜
A great video of Chris I like when you do the pond job but anyway you and John stay safe and your families and keep the videos coming man
My new job wish I could operate like that. Makes it look so easy. 👍🍻
Would be nice to see how that turns out in the end. Well done
Continually amazed by the similar vegetation (With the exception of Chris's favorite snakes) we have from NC to the far north....bloody vines must have been introduced by some well meaning Gardeners!
Most likely and now everyone is regretting it, especially English Ivy. It is great for destroying buildings.
Lots of privet - introduced by gardeners somewhere and birds distribute the seeds far and wide. Glad he's ripping it out.
After the 4 + years of loving and watching your videos.....lets dig just don't fit more like the......PONDER FIXER........HAHA LOL. GREAT JOB.
Looks like a good job. A few days there and not too muddy.
You're a surgeon with that machine! Impressive!!!!!!
what a day it must have been when man first discovered and tested the principle of hydraulics
That was quite the mess of vines on that first pull. You thought the same thing as I did - that’s gonna fill the truck in one load.
You have got you a De -vine project
It's absolutely De-vine. Lol God bless
no
I was rooting for him.
I question being an engineer when I watch these videos. This work looks so much more fulfilling. I'm sure it doesn't showcase the sucky aspects but still, at the end if the day, you have a lot to show for your work.
So satisfying watching you pull those vines out
You need one of those tree shakers, to pick the fruit, however the fruit for you is the soil from the roots. Perhaps an attachment would work, that way it would be hilarious to watch. Keep up the DAM good work
It doesn't look like you've done that but once, or maybe twice before 😆 Beast with that thing! 💪
At least you don't have to try to fit the excavator down a walking path this time to access job site.
Honeysuckle bushes left alone can grow crazy as hell! When I was a little guy we used to basically have a giant birds nest made of vines in the backyard.
Chris said, “That kept me from Swinging Boom. The BIG Ball of Vines is a Dump Truck Load”. 😬👍
Love watching your videos. When you were breaking the overflow, I was thinking a gopro on the side of the bucket would have been a cool perspective.
