I watched it live on BeIN Sports and the commentators were only saying they couldn’t see Naomi in the shade I mean how racist 💀

Love it when the 2nd set highlights are 5 winners from one player and suddenly that player lost 6:1.

Watching the highlights, I am surprised Osaka is the winner. And a straight sets victory.
Right?! I hate when they do that. I think for the second set, they only showed 2 Osaka winners, including the match point, but the rest were winners by Minnen.
Why are we seeing all of Greet's winners?
After the 1st set I thought this was an overreaction, but that second set was weird. Osaka won the set 6-1, yet we saw 4 Minnen winners and 2 Osaka winners. I get that the highlight plays might sometimes not totally line up with the score, but surely the story of the match is a bit lost when you're showing a player hit winner after winner in a row without winning a game (till the end). In order, the highlights were: 1. With Osaka up 2-0: Minnen winner 2. With Osaka up 3-0: Minnen winner 3. With Osaka up 4-0: Minnen winner 4. With Osaka up 5-1: Osaka winner 5. With Osaka up 5-1: Minnen winner 6. Osaka winning match point.

Seriously whoever made this highlight should never cover Osaka anymore if they hate her so much. If I didn't see the scoreboard I would've thought Osaka got bageled or something... Complete disrespect and even more to realize this is done by WTA official channel 🤮🤮🤮

I've said time and again that WTA clips are way too short. They don't show a good resume of matches. They should try to go beyond that 5 min secs mark

Thought my phone was broken but it was just the shadow from the sun. Also, Naomi won a very easy match but all they were showing was her opponents drop shots. Naomi wishing you all the best.

Naomi won 67 points vs Greet's 49 points. That is 58% vs 42%. I bet the highlights show around 75% (didn't count just guestimating) of the points won by Greet.

The WTA comes across as a second-rate tour. Can’t even properly highlight the winner of this match. Give us tennis fans our due! Highlights are vital to our connection to the game when we cannot watch matches live or televised.

Greet's drop shots are sheer poetry... she's got the game for the surface for sure! Good for Naomi that she was able to play at a high level, considering this was her first match on clay for over 2 years! 🙂

Even though it isn't the favorite surface of Naomi Osaka, she has forced the limits and boundaries on the court in order to set off each hardship against her rival. What a sublime and brilliant outcome from the professional Japanese tennis competitor.

She got into main draw as lucky loser. She lost to Arango in three sets for a place in main draw of the tournament. She is no good on clay. I don't understand why she isn't outside top 100.

I’m going to write an open letter to the WTA on behalf of the fans, complaining about EVERYTHING. Love the ladies, but the coverage is horrible. Seem to be using analogue camera technology and have no idea how to promote the sport.
