rubbish, she didn't just lose 1 sequence, it was more than that.
she does have ego as she believed she was winning the fight/all rounds which was clearly not the case. She controlled on the ground but did no damage at all. Same thing she said about the fight with Santos i.e. "i won every round" - yeah ok.
@knightkiller329362 right..........except, she was winning the rounds by points.. aggression, energy, speed.... grasso just caught Valentina slipping, and executed the choke. Dude she is a much more complete dangerous and experienced opponent. Look for ger to grab that strap back.

If youre an average Joe id say she'd prolly get u but the average male athlete over 170 is prolly hurting her man. She could beat a loser like me. But Jorge Masvidal made it clear when talking about Amanda Nunes: When uncompetitive male sparring partners fight even with Amanda Nunes, they have to consciously ease back.
my opinion is that she definitely got outclassed in the striking department, so she took the option of shooting, but just ground control doesn't fly anymore. All the respect to Valentina but I believe Grasso will most likely prove that she's better again.

In the first rounds yes; after that I’d say Alexa was struggling to find the target. Val was jabbing her at will in the later rounds. I think grasso, striking accuracy dipped to 19% after the first round.
I think this is one of her Hardest camps. I think she strengthening herself better. And obviously did slot more intense cardio this time around. She gonna be fast and strong

I just watched Mighty Mouse’s breakdown of that first fight and she was getting pieced up. She shouldn’t be saying that she didn’t need to adjust anything because that’s not true at all. I can see her getting clipped if she comes into aggressive. We all know she’s a counter striker, she baits you but I don’t know if that’s gonna work, her game plan has been figured out

Mmmm I dunno if she can say she was winning the entire fight from beginning to end. That first round pretty solidly went to Grasso. Second round Valentina won by a little bit, third round she easily won, it wasn't close at all. She had to be up on the scorecards though before the finish. But she shouldn't be thinking she was winning that first round because she really kinda got lit up.

Both ladies are simply amazing. Hate to see either lose. VS is correct. She was winning the fight right up to the sub. So this is not an Izzy vs Sean situation which was a domination. If I had to guess I'd say the odds are about correct. More likely that Valentina wins as a moderate favorite here. A lot of people are saying Grasso will win, but the odds are the way they are for a reason.

I've always loved Valentina but after the Taila Santos fight she's shown a darker side.
Valentina just comes off as bitter now. If you watched her interview after she lost (I forgot who she was talking to), it was a day or couple days after her loss, she was so disrespectful towards Grasso. I really want Grasso to win and I feel she can honestly get it done even quicker this time.

If Father Time hasn’t caught with her . I see her destroying Alexa . I don’t think she underestimated Grasso but I don’t think she trained at the same level that she has in this camp. It’s hard to stay so motivated after so many years on top so maybe losing is exactly what she needed .

ALEXA already cracked it lol. She was like this last time but people still sleepin on Alexa and thats now wise lol. VS was gassed because she got popped alot like in no other fight in just the 1st rd and by end of 3 she was gassed and AG cranked it on in the 4th and was gonna do same in rd 5. She crumbled when AG took her back bc she was done, and AG is great because she adjusted mid fight and stuffed takedowns and even she did get taken down she made VS work and also took no damage. VS cant beat her on her feet, AG is stronger than people think and VS knows this, her standup is solid and she hits alot harder than VS. So unless her stubborn mind changed her training routine which I doubt at aged 34, AG surely worked on that takedown D and its gonna be a long night for VS. Every dog has its day and in this case you fight long and often enough youll meet your kryptonite eventually. Semper Fidelis
