This stunning nature series narrated by Cate Blanchett explores the intelligence, resourcefulness and interconnectedness of life on our planet.
I was excited to watch this documentary but within the first minute they played a stereotypical Panjabi song in the background, Panjab (or India) has nothing to do with this documentary, I would rather love it if you had used traditional regional songs from Chitwan. Nepal also has a lot to offer culturally in our own unique way and we do not need to reach to Indian culture (India has an amazing culture as well)
Ho ke hai jabarjasti thoparni.
True that and its so frustrating
Exactly bro. This is a cultural encroachment
True 👍
True
This background music doesn't belong to Nepal
Yeah Netflix used Indian(Punjabi) Music😢
Lol, the music is local, it belongs to Tarai. Nepal have different varieties of music.

Tharu music should be incorporated in the town of walking Rhinos not punjabi WTF
Dry well said
What music is that? Tunuk Tunuk. Punjabi Daal, lassi, charsi music. Nepal doesn't have that kind of music.
😂😂😂
same thought . The dude doing the video is indian
Because we Nepali listen to Hindi indian songs more than Nepali 😂
@@ravinepz we never did . Don’t lie
Even Indians don't listen to this music. It is what Americans think Indians listen to music
I wish Netflix would have thought of Nepalese sentiment before including Punjabi background score whilst the endangered one horned rhino roamed in the streets of Sauraha, Chitwan.
Exactly! I hope they will remove that music and add Nepali music in the series! 🙏
When you give your series the name “OUR LIVING WORLD”, use the proper music as per the particular place of the world. OUR LIVING WORLD has OUR OWN LIVING MUSIC. Background music has nothing to do with OUR LIVING WORLD IN SAURAHA, NEPAL. 🙏🏻🇳🇵
That background music is Punjabi( indian ) It is not representative of Nepal and is perceived as disrespectful to the culture and its people. There are plenty of local music they could have chosen from. Please I request #nefilx to make change.
Boycott this music in this video
💯% right
This is "Gaida" not rhino 😅😅.. - kp sharma oli
Absolutely, that's gaida😂
Promote *GAIDA*, 🤣🤣 KP oli rocks
Oh man, Nepal's Chitwan National Park in 2018 was insane! Like, safari adventures, hanging with wild animals-total bucket list stuff! 🦏🌿 Love from Japan
Yeah yeah, sauraha and nepal is definitely heaven on earth. Love from Finland.
Bhattrai baje. Acting like he isn't Nepali 🤣
Oh wow man love from Jupiter ❤❤
Love from moon

The story is about Nepal, so why the blaring Indian (probably punjabi) Music which is not related whatsoever to the region? It's a bit like playing alpine folk music in a documentary about the Berlin wall.
Exactly this fking racist bastards. Nepal has its own type of music
was bout to say so ..
As always netflix ruining cultures. Nothing new
Thanks' Netflix for reminding that Nepal's more than just hill cities and Himalayan peaks.
And reminding that Nepal is thunk tunuk dhun punjab

The Beauty of Terai is massively underrated and under-marketed
Tell Netflix to remove that music, which doesn't belong to Nepal. They should add Nepali music their. They ruined the taste.
PETITION TO CHANGE THE BACKGROUND SONG !!!! I mean didn't you guys find any nepali songs ??? this is sheer ignorance !!!! CHANGE IT !!!!
I was just about to say the same thing. CHANGE THE MUSIC!!!!
Remove that background music every brown man is not a Indian or Panjabi man
😂😂😂
Change BGM. Sounds like India. Nepal is a sovereign country. What the heck is tang tang tang Bollywood bgm
When I saw Rhino in Streets thumbnail, i knew it would be about Nepal. Wow!!
Proud to be Gorkhali Nepalese 🇳🇵 our mother land Jay Nepal
Netflix, the background music used in the first minute of your video is not Nepalese music and does not align with any Nepalese traditions or religions. Nepal is a separate country and should not be associated with India. Everything else in the video is good, but the music does not fit and disrupts the overall vibe.

Their are so many beautiful Nepali music - the OG place where this was shot- and some director thought a Indian melody was the right choice of music. Please keep. It authentic and dont keep all south Asians in thr same basket
Such a nice video that covers many things related to human rhinos coexistence 😊
Really appreciate that Netflix make this.🎉🇳🇵
Thanks Netflix for showing the view of chitawan, a well known place of our country Nepal🇳🇵 and the world's rare one horned rhinoceros which is found in Chitwan Nepal 🇳🇵
I am glad to see my home town in here and the Netflix series as well, but The music choice feels disconnected from the video content, seriously. There are so many classic songs that would have perfectly complemented to that Netflix part. So, disappointed
If the music isn't changed to better suit the video, we'll have to consider taking legal action. Don't take it easily. We are nepali and we have our own music.
''Eats everything and then goes away'' sounds like a perfect plan in living the life, well done little tank well done.
Why is there a Indian sound playing in the background though? I mean at the start of the video.
Sauraha is one of the best place for nature and wild animal spoting … good time spent in Nepal (2021)
Rhino is also one of the pride of Nepal. Thanks, Netflix for documenting this beautiful video showcasing the relationship between wild animals and the people living together.
Should have played background music in typical nepali ,not in Indian music, though it was short. Netflix , keep that in mind.
Can you put Nepali music 🎶
Oh Netflix change the background music ....that’s music is not from Nepal South Asia has many countries with their own uniqueness culture & music don’t confuse with India & Indian music ...research well before making content 😏
Aside from the sound and tunes used, everything represented perfectly protraited the life of the people of Sauraha. Thank you for this gift👒
I love Sauraha!!! I've been there several times and I love this concept of connecting rhinos with people. The rhino attacks in the jungle had lower so much since this program begun. Congrats!
Thank you brother for sharing our town ( place)video and rhino !
please tell me sir did you hire that rhino for this video ? this video is just too perfect and it might have taken you guys lot of handwork to achieve it.
Nepali people are incredibly friendly, and that's precisely why rhinos feel so secure around them❤
Ah, yes, because when I think of rhinos roaming the plains of Nepal, I definitely picture them jamming out to Punjabi beats instead of, you know, music from their actual habitat. Way to keep it authentic, Netflix. I'm sure the rhinos were just thrilled to have their cultural preferences represented... or not.
A good insight to show the dark sides of National parks, conservation and local people
Finally something came about about Nepal
I don't mind the music in the beginning of the doc as many people are triggered by. I think it was solely for the purpose of giving that playful/comedic vibe in the beginning. Loved the doc. And that Nepali talents are making it to the OTT like Netflix. Thank you Manoj for this❤ P.s: But I do think a Nepali music would be a better fit as we often associate a certain music to certain culture, place or people.
And you know this is Nepal 🇳🇵. But Netflix should have done a better research about the background music.
It’s crazy to think how 10 years ago, we were worrying about the human population rising up when it was 7 billion. Now, being more than 8 billion, we really need to think outside the box when it comes to sharing our lands with the animals that call it home.
I would recommend every visitors who are planning to tour Nepal, put the Chitwan National Park on their destination list. Pokhara is great but Chitwan and the wildlife there is something else.
Thank you for exploring nepal
Thank you netflex for discover our nepal and rhinoceros .❤️❤️❤️❤️love and respect.
Thank you NETFLIX team for exploring the beautiful place of Chitwan located in the country of Nepal. I think it was necessary to make this documentary because it will be a different kind of presentation in which it will be seen that Nepal is a country in the world where even wild giant rhinos can be seen walking and crossing the streets of villages and cities just like domestic animals.
Nice to see friend‘s documentary on Netflix. Congratulations Manoj for show different Dimension of animal tourism.
Background music could've been better.....Play those punjabi music on indian documentary please
Good to see nepal featuring in Netflix
Change the background music please. It doesn’t give the organic Nepali vibe.
Thanks to Netflix to showing the world what we have and what more to explore in our nation Nepal 🇳🇵
That's one rhino that was raised by humans, and it likes to roam the streets of sauraha. There was a recent attempt to transfer it to a different national park, but they had to bring him back because the rhino was getting depressed. That's the one rhino being shown above in this video.
The music threw off my mood and excitement for this video
is that rhino jacob holy shot i know him we're like homies
This place has my heart, no doubt this was meant to be seen 🌍
After being notified from Routine of Nepal Banda...here ✋🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵
Very Interesting!! Cant wait to watch more!
Such a beautiful video ❤
Thanks Netflix Family ❤🇳🇵
Could have been much better if you guys have used nepali background instrumental music
Please research well on the which music represents which country as well
Great job 🎉🎉
Amazing🥰🥰 My home town Chitwan
Thanks netflix for this
A Short but goosebumps giving video ❤️
Request to remove panjabi background music and add Native tharu music. That will make a documentary completely perfect.
The music is misleading to think Sauraha is Bollywood. Sauraha is in NEPAL and NEPALI folk music is nothing like the one played at the beginning of this documentary, which is PUNJABI/INDIAN I guess. "Netflix has plenty to learn about NEPAL, from what I saw in this documentary." #netflix @netflix Your cultural guesses and assumptions are so inappropriate for the sentiment of Nepalese.
When this video came my home yb. I'm sure city with one horned rhino is chitwan nepal 🇳🇵. My home btw thank you so much for making video about nepal.it really really means so much to us .🙂❤
WELCOME TO 🇳🇵 🇳🇵 #NEPAL
Using indian background music to portray Nepal is such a shame and embarashing moment for all the Nepalese. This is a cultural encroachment. Netflix just has to appolozise

Damn i thought it was based on nepal when i saw the thumbnail but when i opened the video the Indian music plays so i thought it was a indian place but no they just put the wrong music. See how it confuses even a Nepali like me imagine someone who don't know about Nepal. Change the background music plz

I wonder if this Netflix channel is reading these comments or not! Because, the music they have used in this documentary isn’t from Nepal at all. They should literally think about this while making any other documentary.
This is Nepal 😊
Great Job😍
