NFL is a very different game. NFL favours highly specialised athletes, rugby favours multi-skilled athletes. In rugby, the squad has a captain; in the NFL, the quarterback is the Commander in the field who must be obeyed. Rugby needs referees to keep play moving; NFL needs lawyers to keep the game from breaking down. I don't propose that he absolutely can't adapt; but these sports are both very physical. Sn immense difference is that rugby is a sport of ruffians played by gentlemen, American football is a game of millionaires against multi-millionaires.The monetary incentives to play like a destructive bastard are greater in the MFL.. The first season easily might be the last Go Barbarians!

It’s highly unlikely he will ever make an active NFL roster; he will never touch the ball in an NFL game that isn’t preseason. He’ll get signed to a P-squad (cannon fodder) because teams get an international pathway freebie now. And bc he looks good and is marketable.
