this was my grandmas favourite song. she passed away two days ago from covid complications. last text she sent me before being intubated(october 10th) was: “Just listened to Sign of the times. It made me feel better”(Acabei de ouvir Sign of the times. Foi mto bom.) we used to listen and sign this every car ride. im thankful i have some recordings of those moments. i’ve been listening to sott at every chance i have for the past month(the time she spent intubated). she was my best friend and i’ll miss her a lot. the strongest woman i’ve ever met.

The bullets We never learn, we been here before Why are we always stuck and running from The bullets? The bullets Just stop your crying It's a sign of the times We gotta get away from here We gotta get away from here Just stop your crying It'll be alright They told me that the end is near We gotta get away from here Just stop your crying Have the time of your life Breaking through the atmosphere And things are pretty good from here Remember everything will be alright We can meet again somewhere Somewhere far away from here We never learn, we been here before Why are we always stuck and running from The bullets? The bullets We never learn, we been here before Why are we always stuck and running from The bullets? The bullets Just stop your crying It's a sign of the times We gotta get away from here We gotta get away from here Stop your crying Baby, it'll be alright They told me that the end is near We gotta get away from here We never learn, we been here before Why are we always stuck and running from The bullets? The bullets We never learn, we been here before Why are we always stuck and running from The bullets? The bullets We don't talk enough We should open up Before it's all too much Will we ever learn? We've been here before It's just what we know Stop your crying, baby It's a sign of the times We gotta get away We got to get away We got to get away We got to get away We got to get away We got to, we got to, away We got to, we got to, away We got to, we got to, away

@@TheKingkeano Why not? The draggy, heavy whip fills kinda make the song work. She has tighter performances in the record, too. I'd use 12's for toms myself instead of 13/14's though, and maybe tune the snare a bit higher for her style of playing, but I get that she's going for a vintage sound.

This one is literally perfect and it gets paid DUST smh
i agree it's undertated but the Graham Norton is at least as good, if not better
@@morinette8162 no it's definitely good, but this is the best I've heard him hit those notes live
stop i love both 😃🤚🏾
"no one is perfect" Harry:
Listen to this song a million times
love the drummer too... she's rocks dude !
Never noticed that until I see your comment
NO she doesn't .
@@BryceFlintMusic She isn't the original drummer. She was parachuted in for aesthetics. To give Harry the ' I'm inclusive" marketing angle. That's why.
@@TheKingkeano Cool, somebody else played on the record, she's a touring musician. Gotcha. I'll ask again, why not?
Oh, my goodness! From "I am work in a bakery" to this wonderful performance! Amazing! God bless you, Harry!
such a pure beautiful voice, not many can boast such a flawless live performance
He sounds better live.. something you don't see anymore with artists..🙄
It's so rare
Idol tlaga si Harry. Ang ganda po ng birit nya
Absolurely!!
Brendon Urie is the only other artist I can think of with that talent
Bruno Mars 💪
I don't understand why I used to hate Harry styles when I was younger... He's brilliant
mini dwarfdude SAME.
mini dwarfdude Sameee😩
SAME, I hate one direction, but now I love Harry Styles
Bc his was part of one direction (different music taste)
Same me too used to hate him when i was young
his voice has gotten so much better over time. he’s literally an angel sent from above that’s how much his voice pleases my ears
Wow this version is incredible!! His voice is so beautiful and clear. I find they mix too much music in on his songs and you often can’t really hear his voice and he truly has an incredible voice. Harry, make them mix it so you shine!
I'm not the biggest Harry Styles fan, he makes nice music, that's all. But this song, this song belongs in the top of the lists together with songs like Bohemian Rhapsody, Hotel California, November Rain etc.
I agree
even just seeing this comment makes me cry. i’m so proud of him. and i completely agree with you, i’ve always said the same thing but nobody listens to me because i’m so young
@@ellen-tj3dp hi Ellen how old are u
If you like rock music, check out his song Kiwi
I concur 💖 beautiful ballad
He'll be a classic 50 years down the road
I think this is one song I’ll never get sick of.
U N F O R G E T A B L E 🎶
4:40 - 5:35 what a masterpiece and a powerful voice damnnn
I love how everyone is actually Listening to the song and not busy with the cameras. He gave his heart and soul in this song and it shows.
curly styles it was pre-recorded so the crowd couldn't have cameras even if they wanted to, it was to avoid leaking the footage before the show even aired :)
Since everyone's telling their age...lol. I'm 78 and love this man...beautiful voice, beautiful person and a great sense of humor..perfection.
I LOVE U
Sorry, but which 78 year old would use the word “lol”
@@oscarsrensen7280 hahaha..one with grandchildren that explain all that stuff. I thought it meant lots of love...😷
@@paulinepeiler7204 sure...
@@oscarsrensen7280 many dude

Of all Harry’s albums this song is my favorite. I listen to it again and again with always a lot pleasure and emotion ❤️
THIS IS THE BEST LIVE PERFORMANCE OF HARRY
@Defne ÖZVARAN ill look it up
kick ass YES
I agree but don't forget sledgrhamm!!!!!!!👍👍👏👏💖😈
Didnt mean the head at the last comment
SOTT Graham Norton
Harry Styles is a LEGEND. I love him. Well Done Harry.
the word legend is used too easily these days without justification. he's brilliant :) a legend ? not yet by far, calm down
He's not legend
he is really good but not yet a legend ,micheal jackson ,prince, freddie mercury .. are the legends
Wafa h oh, so he has to be dead to be a legend I see yeah gotcha
PowMan Madonna ,Britney spears ,paul McCartney are legends and they are all alive .. a legend is an artist who is cross generational not just famous to one generation and obscure to others ..
You can talk forever about how Harry's vocal performance is, all my eyes are on his drummer here whenever she pops on screen :D
This just beautiful song❤
Being honest, I've never listened one direction before, I wasn't interested in them. But Harry as a soloist OMG this guy is pure talent. I love all his songs, specially this and falling, it's impossible for me to listening this 2 songs without crying 😭
Same
Same as me
SAME 😭😭 tears everytime!
Listen to his song fineline , you'll love that then❤️
You are same with me buddy
I think it was the best live performance of this song. Harry is incredible, a legend in the making.
i think the one in manchester he actually went for the really high note in we got to get away
Try listening to his perf from Today Show
and also in The Late Late Show. He did the high note all the way till the end.
Ha il potere di scuoterti l'anima di commuoverti di farti piangere e ti fa volere che la magia delle sue canzoni non smetta mai... Credo che pochi abbiano questa capacità è leggenda
One of the most haunting, beautiful songs I've heard. Anyone who's lived life can think of a situation where this means something. That he sings it with that passion so young.... Well that's something special
He asks why we are always running from the bullets.. what he’s saying is that we as a society are doomed and will end, we never learn. We’ve been here before and the end is hurtling towards us. Society is asleep and will soon have no choice but to be awake.
The fact that he is wearing his "treat people with kindness" pin is adorable.😍
I never understand why people love harry so much, now I do.
I cannot get over this performance. So amazing 👌👌👌👌👌👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Harry is a legend in the making. “A legend is someone who leaves behind an unforgettable impression on others. They touch lives, they're remembered, they're cherished. There are all sorts of legends in this world - famous or not. Becoming one means finding your particular role, your calling, following it, and touching others around you.”
What a joy it is to watch Harry perform with high quality sound, without all the hysteria and screams of the wild fandom. Thanks to BBC for this gift. It should be done more often. I'm sure that a lot of us would enjoy Harry's talent at his best.
Rafael Fleitas
When he take that high note will we ever learn and comes little down at "learn" trust me it is very hard I don't know how is he doing that every time without any effort.. great
That is falsetto
Yeah that's a cut off fallseto. With practice you can do it
I thought I was the only one that loved that part so much because it is so difficult and I love ittt
minute?
Can we take a moment to appreciate the AMAZING DRUMMER?? She’s incredible. Wow.
Harry’s voice has gotten stronger and so much more mature. What an emotional ride listening to him
Dang! This sounds better than the original.
Jahnavi Jeelugula listen to the graham version that one will blow your mind
i’m here in 2021 after H won his grammy for Watermelon Sugar, and i’m still wondering how can this MASTERPIECE not have gotten a grammy nomination. SOTT SUPREMACY
Grammys? More like Scammys, Istg they’re ridiculous. So many deserving artists haven’t won a Grammy
I don’t understand that either. This song is a fucking masterpiece and will always be my favorite song of his. It’s sooo goooooood ❤
Grammys are a joke
If Grammys are such a joke, stop acting like they are the end-all-be-all and talking about who was robbed, etc. There are tons of music awards and measures of success. I simply ignore the Grammys…that’s the best thing to do with hollow awards. Enjoy music, buy music, buy tickets, let your favorite artists know you appreciate them. That should be the real acknowledgment of great music.
Now he won 2 more grammys❤️❤️
His music and voice always moves my heart sooo much, TY!!!
absolutely amazing!! he sounds exactly like the studio version, he's so good!
Can we appreciate how great the drummer here? She's so cool!
ikr i love sarah
sarah jonessss
Kan ini Sarah Band lead vokalnya Harry Styles
The note selections are daaamn
Well, she did a good job, just like any other professional drummer would have, but I get where you're coming from!!
