    • ​​​@@pandaman1968honestly we never knew what his intention was. All we knew was the tape said "For Paul" that could mean several things. This could've meant a song he was going to finish off for Paul to listen to because it was about him, songs he wanted Paul to help finish with the Lennon/McCartney credit, a future duet with him, The Beatles reunion song preparation for the future or maybe all throwaway songs. We'll never actually know his intention with them but Paul, George & Ringo came up with the best outcome and because of their contribution they all became Beatles songs also very different to remaking imagine because that was completed. These songs were hardly even started

    • I would love to see what Paul and Ringo could do with some of George’s unreleased material. It wouldn’t have to be labeled as The Beatles. It could billed as George Harrison (with McCartney and Starr).

  • Giles Martin has still a last hurdle to cross (the whole 62-65 catalogue) before fans can truly say "ok that's enough" and have a definitive, hd, hq versions of ALL our beloved Beatles songs.

  • The original demo version of "real love" (which is on the Acoustic album from 2004) is much better than the version with the other 3 Beatles that was released as an official single in 1995.... So I don't have high hopes for this single. (Why did they had to change the chords in real love?? John's original chords are much better ...) My 2 cents. And why is that announced on Disney??? Has Disney bought Apple Records, too???? ( If yes, that would explain the greedy release policy of Beatles records in recent years....)

  • Where is the movie, "Disney's The Cat" about a cougar who saves a boy from a murderous criminal? It's like it disappeared, no search turns up anything on it, but it scared me as a kid and I've always wondered why Disney would even make such a movie. The scene where the criminal kills the park ranger was too intense, so maybe they've buried it away and tried to ignore it, but it did exist.

  • John recorded a demo of Now and Then around 1970*. It's been a hidden fave of superfans for decades -- get your paws off Disney. *EDIT: This is what some recent press has been saying, but the tape I believed was from '78. Moreover, given the lyrical content and subject matter of the song ("Now and then, I miss you"), it is most often believed to be addressed -- at least, mainly -- to Paul. '78 would then of course make more sense than '70.

  • This is not a Beatles record. For Macca to call it that is a travesty. There was no group interaction, no individual veto (!) and it's a mishmash of loose bits played at many different times on different projects. I hope this really is the final one of these Frankenstein tracks and to Paul I'd like to say: give it a rest now, mate. You've taken this as far as you could and further than you should have.

  • This is not a song by the Beatles, but by John Lennon, at that time the Beatles no longer existed. It's a song by John himself. The song that they supposedly covered is freaky and has nothing to do with the original, first of all the chords are not the same, the rhythm is accelerated and words that do not exist in the original have been inserted.
