Is there an issue with the transparency mode on the AirPods Pro (1st Gen)? It keeps turning off a short while after being activated and I always have to return to the accessibility settings to turn it back on.
I turned off the automatic downloads for my iOS updates because as you mentioned earlier, the Siri and voice on my iPad that I use for public public beta testing is not doing well. Siri can’t pronounce pronounce certain words and certain numbers seems to be anything that ends in WN like 17 it can’t pronounce like the word screen it can’t pronounce and their other things and for blind users we certainly depend on this so I’ll do as usual. I’ll block the auto downloads and keep watching your videos to figure out when things get cleared up, thanks for your work
I’m definitely updating when this update comes out 17.4.1 isn’t doing as good I get decent battery life through out the day but I’m hoping for improvements great vid Aaron
17.4.1 is the worst update for my iphone 15 PM. it get warm and the battery drain so fast. i hope this new update 17.5 fixe this issue

I'm on 17.4.1, my notifications do not go back to the notch or disappear automatically after i've received the notification. it seems to be stuck until manually push it back,
The StandBy feature is great, but it’s really too “busy” in terms of features in some cases, a lot of the features I’d prefer to turn off, or have multiple configurations that could be saved, like one for daytime desktop use, and a separate one for nightstand use
Is side loading working on iOS 17.5 B in the EU?
I have been having my screen look like it’s jumping when I have the camera open on any app. The image seems to change while the camera is open. Not sure why this is happening. Even after updating. Any help with that?
I’ve had an issue since iOS 17 release where when I’m in messages and go to add a photo or attachment it just closes and I have to try multiple times before it will work!

My action button is binded to camera and atleast 1 time a day it will just go black when i hold it , for example the camera comes put but looks like if all my lenses are covered then i have to re open it . Started happening last update is anyone else having this problem

Installed 17.4 around April 6 and my phone overheated. Phone had to be restarted and then began short cycles "on 3 minutes off 15 seconds then auto restart ". lost facial recognition and had to use password. Had mid assembly replaced and phone did same thing then totally failed. APPLE refused to repair phone saying it was due to blocked charging port caused by abuse. I can see no obstruction. Phone is in immaculate condition, no moisture exposure, never dropped and always kept in OTTER BOX, no over temp conditions ever. 5month old iPhone 14. Any suggestion for remedy would be appreciated!!

So now that you mention it, I've had the music bug for a while now, maybe a couple of weeks. I have to keep skipping songs to find one that plays, I think I've had before this update. I also notice the camera bug today. I accidentally slipped into video, while trying to zoom in and then it froze.
Since I updated to 17.4 my camera been saying non genuine part and it don’t let me use .5 zoom (iPhone 13 pro max)

I turned on stolen device protection when it first came out on my 12 Pro Max I’m running 17.4.1 and I don’t really notice too much of a difference in battery life day to day. I don’t use my phone heavily while I’m at work but I do check it here and there and I listen to KZhead videos on my AirPods through the day. When I get home i usually have around 50-60% battery left.
17.4.1 has camera bug when recording video the screen dims after a few seconds.

17.4.1 (public) keeps freezing on me. The Search keeps freezing, everyday, and I had to restart. So I updated to 17.5 Beta and the problem was gone.
Hi aaron, So, i bought a iphone 15 in February and now its 2 months in and today it dropped to 99% at 34 cycles. I used the 40-80 rule and never let it over heat. What do you recommend me to do after this. I am really disappointed with apple
Lithium ion batteries are pretty complicated. Make sure you calibrate you battery by discharging completely to 0 percent from 100 once in a week or month.

@@lelin4732Li-Ion batteries don’t have to be calibrated because they don’t have memory. You’ll only reduce cycle count by 1 with this, nothing more.
Also now when you are downloading an app it is showing a countdown timer showing you how long it will take.

Is everyone else’s Apple Watch battery draining so fast? I’ve got a series 9 with 100% capacity and the battery is drawing so quickly everyday. When I first got it, it would go from 100% to 79% in one day. Now it’s goes from 100% to around 46%. When will Apple software fix this? Apple Watch hasn’t had an update in software in ages

No, it’s based on your physical location using GPP. It doesn’t matter where you bought it from it just matters where you’re physically located.

iOS 17.4.1 revision on iPhone 15 PM. I can't use 5G without the phone getting warm. Had to update because the 1st release of 17.4.1 destroyed my battery life

iOS 17.5 Beta 3 on my iPhone 12 mini, so far, it's great! It's a great update so far, though, battery is better then Beta 2 and 1. Siri is not doing well though, only on my iPhone. On my Apple Watch SE 2, is okay but not all that well. I'm just using the raise and speak feature on my Watch because of the Siri problem. Next time for your iPad, take your thermal camera next time. Cycle will soon start again. Another release with minor tweaks and improvements but with some bugs as well. It’s incredible how long the squared notifications bug have remained, I know it’s not a priority from a technical standpoint, but Apple used to care the aesthetic and visual part of the OS too. Seriously considering to jump off the wagon with iOS. 😂

Using iphone 15 pro max on Ios 17.4.1. Battery life is very disappointing. I was getting around 1 and half days of usage with normal usage on 17.4 but with 17.4.1 am not even getting a full day usage.
I have been seeing this as well. Same phone and IOS version.
I’m going from 80% to 10% then phone resets. Even drains while charging.

I ran four static test on my iPhone 15 Pro with and without apps closed out with focus mode sleep on and all four cases. I turned off Wi-Fi one night no difference. I turned off cellular the next night no difference they all show about a one percent per hour Static drain at night when it’s not used the biggest difference I found was I turned off the theft protection, the stolen vice device protection on the phone and it cut the battery drain in half only lost 4% and eight hours
is real racing 3 still 30fps for ios?
I think it has to do with the developer. I play a game called Wild Rift which was stuck on 60fps until they finally updated it to 120.

What about YT premium glitch on Ios 17.4.1 Iphone 15 pro. When app is switched and again opened there is minor glitch that stopps the video and audio for like 1 sec. Really annoying. Is there any way to fix this ?

I can't remember ever experiencing so many bugs as with 17.4.1 on my iPhone 13 Pro. Stuttering, flickering while scrolling notifications, freezes and lagging in Safari, Wi-Fi drops multiple times/day, it's a hot, buggy mess. I'm so disappointed that Apple thought that these common and easy to reproduce bugs were acceptable to release. I've always considered Apple software to be rock solid and a valid reason for paying the "Apple premium". But lately my experience has me questioning that.

Tik Tok in Mexico is very strict with music. A lot of music from videos in the USA can not be used in Mexico. Other change is that you dont need to have 1000 followers to do a live-streaming.

Using iPhone since iPhone 4, Imo the best time to update your iOS is after 1 year of its release (apple fix all issues in the meantime)! Me and my cousin both have 14 plus mine still on iOS 16 and he updated to iOS 17 on launch, he faced overheating issue sometimes and now his battery health is at 82% and mine at 99% after 1 year(both phones were bought together)! New iOS performs really bad in the first few months. I will update to iOS 17 around September!

I guess not, though, my dad has an iPhone 15 Pro and wirelessly charges it and it never even gets warm and is getting great battery life that is lasting him all day despite how much he uses it and has the 80% limit on and still gets all day battery life.

Siri has been horrible recently. It doesn’t recognize my playslists anymore when i ask to play them, and has not even been able to simply put a playlist on shuffle. When i say “turn on adaptive audio” it always thinks I’m trying to activate lights at my home? (I don’t even have a smart home) It used to be capable, but since 17.4.1 it’s been very bad.
Stolen device protection set to always and the battery doesn‘t drain so much.
Siri cuts off way too fast now 17.4.1 There have been so many times where I will be giving Siri instructions and she will only record a fraction of it.
9:13 - Tip: If it may be easier, you can also reboot your iPhone by holding down the side button and then saying to Siri, “reboot the phone.” (And there’s no need to worry about triggering this accidentally-when you say “reboot the phone”, Siri will still ask for confirmation before initiating the reboot.)
True but that is not a hard reboot which clears the RAM.

When I just now used the Siri command “reboot the phone“, the phone went through the entire reboot cycle including the part with the Apple logo on screen, and once the phone finished booting, it still had to renegotiate its network connection to the Wi-Fi and cell network. I also timed it, and it took 42 seconds for my iPhone 15 Pro. I don’t see there being much chance of it taking 42 seconds if it wasn’t clearing the memory?
