    • Amen! When I first got into planning I was soooo overwhelmed! Went on KZhead and thought oh wow! So much creativity. Where do I write? Sticker galore! Love the fact of keeping it simple to be more productive. I feel as tho I’m already growing out of HAppy Planners. Thinking of EC now. Love your video! Thank you for sharing.

      @ronnimartin7033@ronnimartin70333 жыл бұрын
    • @ danidah It’s a real thing right? Remind yourself, every page you leave blank is $$ you spent but threw away unused. I strongly dislike wasting anything, so saying “used imperfectly is still SO MUCH BETTER than wasted perfectly” is a big incentive for me. Grab a pen in your favorite color and just start jotting down any old thing that comes to mind. Big and little, print and cursive, scrawled and sloppy, just get it onto the paper! Good enough IS GOOD ENOUGH. 🤩 As you finish tasks, cross them out with another color. At the end of the week, pat yourself on the back for all those checked off tasks and enjoy your abstract artwork. You’re gonna love that planner! 💜

    • Use an erasible pen or a pencil so you can correct if you made a mistake. You cant hold it all in your head. There are times that I mess up too. It shows me I am not perfect. 😊

    • I have a on the go planner that's written in all over, plans, notes, very little decorating (mini. Then I have a memory/journaling one (classic) that is very decorative. I write what I did that day. On the monthly view I put my plans. If I didn't have plans I use a motivational sticker or 1 that spoke to the day or theme. On the daily pages, I will journal about the day...this one is not "messy" and you use the mini to keep track in case you don't feel like journaling or decorating that day/week. Sounds like a lot, but it's actual relaxing.

Your suggestions for planner tabs and how to use your planner has really helped me so very much. Im not forgetting things anymore thanks to my new routines! Also your budget advice has helped me learn how to do all my budgeting ( which I had to learn how to do since my husband passed away) so thank you so very much, your videos are so helpful and informative. Some stuff on senior budgeting on a set income would be good too. But you have really helped me so much and for that I thank you.

  • I have been experimenting A LOT with organization in the past years: I've finally found the perfect strategy for me and here's what I've came to 1) I have a school agenda where I keep track of all of my school things; this one contains monthly calendars which are extended to every part of my life 2) I keep daily lists prepared the day before and comprehensive of everything I'm going to do down to the detail in a notebook. I'm currently going through random notebooks I've never used so i don't waste anything. This one pretty much serves as a bullet journal since I keep lists of all sorts in it such as projects and things that need to be put in a schedule & stuff 3) to unleash my artsy side I use an actual bullet journal not for planning but as a journal: I write my thoughts, feelings and memories in it almost daily and I decorate the pages with stickers, drawings and nice, curated titles :)

  • This is such a helpful video. So many "influencers" are more concerned with aesthetics than practicality on youtube and it's frustrating when you just want to use your planner to be productive and not to be a sticker book. Thank you for these tips, I love the idea of using your side bar to plan the next week or month. That's definitely a tip I am going to use since I always end up not really using my side bars.

  • I love this. I stumbled on it when I googled another planning topic. I’ve been planning since kindergarten so I’m a lot more into the functionality of a planner. I’m glad to see you push actual planning vs decorative planning. So many people are falling into the marketing trap of stickers, but don’t realize they’re doing nothing else but putting them down on pages. I started with stickers many, many, MANY years ago, but it was more for reference. About four years ago, I was sucked into all of this other stuff. I found that I was wasting money on all of that, yet, NOTHING was getting done. But, yes, thank you. I love your perspective!

  • I just found your channel and I love that you use the Happy Planner to be productive. I like that your planners look nice but are full of information. So many of the ones I see are all about only the stickers.

  • I can’t be the only one that has noticed her gorgeous earrings 😍 I left my planner in the office for 3 weeks & for sure the fact that I wasn’t visible really threw me off. I was winging it for 3 weeks & I’m definitely not doing that again 😅

  • Absolutely love the idea of keeping the planner open!! It’s funny- I find I remember to floss my teeth when I leave the floss on the counter instead of putting it away.. same principle just never thought about doing it with my planner! THANK YOU!!

  • Thank you so much for saying to keep the planner simple. I enjoy looking at the decorated ones but I don’t have much time for doing 2 page spreads in multiple planners. I need to decorate like you do... just minimal but not my priority. Thank you for confirming my thoughts.

  • Thank you so much for sharing these tips. I am starting to use a planner and I like the colors and stickers but I using all that is so overwhelming. I agree starting off using the minimal keeping it plain and simple is easier for me right now. I can always incorporate those items later. I am definitely going to look into the Happy Planner, I like the space. TFS. Also I am a subscriber.
