Watching them before the playoffs was great. Edler has been good all season with DD out and Stecher has been solid. I have no fear seeing him when he is in the lineup. They've both adjusted to the Kings system.

Lol I told Oilers fans that this series is going to 6 games at least and I was told how I was “sleeping on the Oilers.” What a great acquisition Keith was! What an amazing back check in OT from McDavid! Gotta love seeing Draisaitl get two goals and an assist, and still be a -2. This offseason will be so fun to watch. Holland has screwed Edmonton over with the contracts he has given. Now they only have 7 million to spend to resign/replace Koskinen, Puljujarvi, Yamamoto, Kane, and depth players. Lol good luck!

Wow! Kempe won it for the Kings in OT. Kings lead the series 3-2. For the second time, Keith tipped the puck passed Mike Smith. I hope the Kings will finish off the Soilers in game 6 in Los Angeles. On the other hand, Avalanche have taken Predators out in the first round. Smith is very slick. The pucks seem to leak through his legs. Go Kings!

McDavid's soft defending caused the turnover which resulted in Kempe easily circling around the done and dusted Keith who was supposed to lead the defense. Add in Mike Smith who doesn't have the stamina to play more than 2-3 consecutive games and here we are, Kings in 6.

and I have to LAUGH because when the Oilers won big, the fans were, "This teams is going to the Finals" Or, "this is our year for the Cup". Now they may be gone in 1st round. This is what happens when you use so much cap space on TWO players. Now the question will be, "How much is is going to cost to keep Kane?". Trade Leon and get some defenseman. Smith isn't that bad of a goalie but getting up their in age. They need defense more then a goalie at this point.

Unpopular opinion: jay woodcroft is getting out coached. I’m a die hard oilers fan and as much as I want to blame the refs and the old men on our team, jay is getting out coached. The LA kings the entire game set up a neutral zone trap that forced the oilers to chip the puck in and the kings break out was so fast that the oilers literally couldn’t gain any o-zone time. It’s a set play and the oilers couldn’t work around it. Jay should have known that that’s what the kings were gonna do cos they did it the entirety of last game. Sound systems beat individuals every single day of the week. Mclullend has the kings playing air tight defence and the oilers have no answer to it.

Kings fan here. I was at game 4 in LA. And I agree with what you just said. The other problem I see the Oilers have is the lack of discipline. You have to take the good with the bad. But if things aren’t going your way, you can’t hurt your team by taking mindless penalties. And I saw a lot of that in game 4 especially with Kane. He is a really good player when he keeps his head in the game. That being said I’m going to game 6. And GKG

Where is this play by play announcer from? Her voice is a lot more excited for the Oilers, when they score. Also Draisaiti was left all alone for that goal that tied the game. That can’t happen, and is a mistake by the Kings player near Quick. That’s equivalent to a layup in basketball for Draisaiti.

Watching them before the playoffs was great. Edler has been good all season with DD out and Stecher has been solid. I have no fear seeing him when he is in the lineup. They've both adjusted to the Kings system.

Unpopular opinion: jay woodcroft is getting out coached. I’m a die hard oilers fan and as much as I want to blame the refs and the old men on our team, jay is getting out coached. The LA kings the entire game set up a neutral zone trap that forced the oilers to chip the puck in and the kings break out was so fast that the oilers literally couldn’t gain any o-zone time. It’s a set play and the oilers couldn’t work around it. Jay should have known that that’s what the kings were gonna do cos they did it the entirety of last game. Sound systems beat individuals every single day of the week. Mclullend has the kings playing air tight defence and the oilers have no answer to it.
Kings fan here. I was at game 4 in LA. And I agree with what you just said. The other problem I see the Oilers have is the lack of discipline. You have to take the good with the bad. But if things aren’t going your way, you can’t hurt your team by taking mindless penalties. And I saw a lot of that in game 4 especially with Kane.
