IT'S PHILIP'S BIRTHDAY!!
In 'Cadeaux at the Chateau', all of the inhabitants of the Chateau de Lalande gather together to open beautiful gifts that people have sent from all over the world. All of the monetisation from these videos will be donated to a different charity each month. KZhead earnings fluctuate wildly each month, as ad revenue changes throughout the year. Here are the charities that we've donated to so far:

I used to show the gifts as part of 'The Chateau Diaries' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new channel. Every week we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.
It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching @The Chateau Diaries gives us all an enormous boost. But for those of you who have sent these incredibly thoughtful gifts, I hope that seeing us open them gives you a fraction of the joy that you've given us, and that by monetising this channel for charity we can pass on that joy to others 💖💖💖

The LaLande gang are addicting. Ever light hearted and joyful. So important at this time when people's nerves are wearing thin. I avoid all things political now & instead consume these & The Chateau Diaries to remind myself life goes on and joy is never out of season. Thanks you beautiful people & special thanks to Ghost Henri whose made these great personalities come together.
I haven't watched the news in 5 years...don't miss it. TV is limited to HGTV, a bit of the cooking channel and on rare occasion, a rerun of Sex in the City lol

I have to confess that I watch Cadeaux to see if I can garner ideas for my brothers and boy cousins. So far we have been very successful for birthdays and Christmas!💕💕

Kat's "Weeds are just flowers with a bad PR department!" got me ROFL!!!! Savonnière, savonnier, savonnerie - which is it? you all reminded me that I grew up in a family that did not have a centerpiece of lovely flowers down the middle of the table but a huge, 5 inch thick dictionary in the center. We each got to pick a word from it (which we thought no one else knew about) then the rest of the family had to guess the spelling and its definition.....beats arguments at dinner time. I truly enjoyed this vlog but it went by so fast!!! Stay safe and take care - all of you.

I just found that brand of soap randomly donated to the thrift store. It smelled so good and was beautiful. I bought it and looked it up online. $10 a piece of soap!
Some times its worth it because you truly enjoy it many times a day. We choose the more expensive wonderful fragrance hand soap also because it didn't dry out our skin.
We sing the worms in the garden song here in the USA, too!

I love Kat's game "I like my tea, candle, candies..... " so much!! Good fun!! It reminds me of the game/book "Mad Libs". I don't know if it was English also (or first). It was a little book with paragraphs with words (verbs, nouns etc...) missing. One player would ask another for a verb (let's say), any verb. Finally, when the passage was completed it could be read to everyone. Usually, the results were hilarious!!!
