Rally at 37:30 is an absolute GEM
What Mark Petchey said at 1:21:09 that Djokovic had never lost from two sets to love; that was incorrect as in 2010 he lost in the Roland Garros quarter finals from two sets to love up against Jürgen Melzer
you're right
Q
Djokovic the one and only took the revenge of 2011 RG , what a way to defeat straight sets , pure dominance by the greatest of all time
Djokoers revenge for 2011 rg loss.
Fed fans like to forget this match
Is this the most times Federer has broken opponent's serve and still lost in straight sets?
The big difference is the backhand. Novak does not need to run around his backhand to use his forehand, while Roger had to so he can be more offensive. Novak's backhand is greater than Fed's.
Definitely
I mean I think now we can clearly state Djokovic has the greatest backhand of all time. Fed's was great too, and underrated throughout his career (amazing slice, drive, and ability to change directions at will), but Djokovic's relentless consistency, getting the ball deep shot after shot on the backhand side while rarely breaking down is unprecedented.
Hey "djoko fun"!!! Thanks man!!! The quality of the video is fantastic. Hail 1080p50HD. I'm PARTICULARLY joyful about the 50FPS. So clearly visible trajectories of the ball🙏
That mr Djocovic can run SO much. Hi is beeing driven from side to side. A true Fighter..He is AWESOME...
This is a treat! Awesome quality.. and Jim Courier commentating! Thank you very much!
What a great match in straight sets! 🐐🇷🇸💪
Will be eternally grateful if u can upload full matchs of ND v RF that aren't right now on youtube. For example, FO 2011 SF. And few more. I can't pay you money, but giving u loads of gratitude. Ur video quality, and 50fps vision is so satisfying to my eyes. Pure bliss. I mean it.
Federer und Djokovic. Einfach die Coolsten!
This match was so intense and great! Great video 😎
Ya agree, thanks for the comment
Such a shame this went to straights, Federer was striking the ball very well , credit to Djokovic
Ertugrul Körpinar Better to lose in straights to novak than to get destroyed by nadal.
Thomas brunkle that makes no sense
Maybe at times he was, but overall, he was pretty frail mentally. But that was partly - maybe 1/2 - due to Djokovic's play. Remember, Tsonga almost beat Djokovic the match before. There is no reason Federer should then lose to him in straight sets two days later. His confidence was in bandages from the USO semi - and I think, from the 2012 AUSO. When Federer is confident, he can play whole matches and whole tournaments striking the ball well, as you say - all the way to the final. He can blow guys off the court; even Nadal (like he did last year in Indian Wells and Shanghai - and in a set or two of the AUSopen final). Djokovic? I don't know that Federer can *ever* blow him off the court. He is able to sprint and stretch like gumby to reach shots that are winners to other players, which has a *huge* effect on Federer psychologically (and not just Federer). I think that is the crux of Federer's whole game - if opponents can get into his head and disrupt his genius, and his JOY, then they are more than halfway to beating him. Federer has done magnificently to shore that up, I believe, which showed up in 2017 starting with the Aus Open. … anyways - sorry, I am totally just rambling here. Lol.
Cormorant_on_aRock kinda exactly what I thought lately. Against Nadal and Djokovic, as soon as the match turns into a battle, it'd be Federer's loss no matter how well he plays overall. Like AO09 F, AO12 SF against Nadal, and several times against Djokovic
Thành Hải Nguyễn bullshit
That match was crazy perfomance from both ! A sweet revenge of novak from last year but can you also uplaod the full 2011 match ?
Novak performance and mental strengh is unbeatable
ALİ CEM MARAŞ finali yenildi
except that Nadal beat him the next match
Clay court only nadal dangerous
are not is
yea takes him 5 sets and a match point to beat a 38 year old fed
As a Nadal fan and speaking objectively I feel that Fed stayed too long with the 90 sq.inch Wilson. He switched to the 97 in 2014 and I believe that he should’ve made the switch back around 2008. The game was changing and his small frame wasn’t gonna hold up to the new strings and lighter rackets with bigger sweet spots.
Still, Nadal defeated Federer with his new bigger racquet in Australian Open 2014.
Lighter rackets ? That alone says you know nothing about rackets.
@@bojack99 Should Federer have changed more sooner?
@@Dellen-Roger irrelevant question.. he won most off his titles with the old racket you can make an hypothesis but what does it matter the times gone
@@srkucrickk Than beat him in 6 of the next 7 meetings
Great video! Could you post full match of Djoko v Nadal Roland Garros QF 2015? Thank you.
Classic Federer chokes in 1st and 2nd set
So nice to see Fed attack but Novak is undaunted
Great stuff. How come it doesn't get removed on c0pyright grounds? Or do they allow it but you can't monetise? I've posted footy stuff & it just gets blocked.
The great novak djokovic ..... the best player of all time

Novak plays very handsomely in this match than federer.
hahaha, I love how your blurred out the network logo
This was revenge for RG-2011
No man that defeat is dunt on djokvic head he will never feel easy ,no revnge wil give him rest
Yes.. just 1 win against roger doesnt... so he has decided to beat him in every grand slam ever since 2013.
@@guruk and wawrinka also decided too, that's y last 4 slam vs dkovic 4_0 , amazing
@@IsmailKhan-uy1ty u r wrong my brother.. its 3-1 .. adv wawrinka...no denying that wawrinka feels at ease vs nole especially... but in 3 years.. that will be levelled .. mark my word 😊
@@guruk u know what is the real prob y fed losing against Novak?? Ok now I tell u, lion is King of jungle, and he can eat and Kil any type of animals like leopard, elephnt, georaf, wolf etc but when lion enters in old age thn every type of animal can kill him, same story here, ..........u can see when Novak on his great time same time fedrer was turning 30 but still he managed to beat Novak 3 times in a year on 3 occasions dude
Hi, do you have the match: federer djokovic roland garros 2011 full match ?
It` a great matchup. Much better than Federer-Nadal because Nadal simply does not allow Roger to play. He pins him to his backhand side and just waits for a forehand down the line. How many forehands does Roger get to play against Nadal in a match ? Djokovic allows the opponent to play his game and goes man on man. Djokovic is also the only player who does not avoid Nadal`s forehand because he has a backhand to match it. In other words, Federer and Nadal can play their games and do what they do against Djokovic (but they`d better be good) while against each other they just try to "cripple" the game of the other guy and make him play as many backhands as possible. Those who say that Federer and Nadal bring out the best in each other are complete idiots. They actually try hard to bring out the worst in each other and always play to the weaknesses of each other by looking for the other guys backhand. Djokovic`s matches against either of them are much better to watch than the overhyped and overtactical Fedal matches.
It has been so long since Fedal match happened. Shanghai which was the last time they played each other was 16 odd months ago .Djokovic has the measure of both Federer and Nadal. I doubt Federer can ever catch up with Djokovic on H2H. Nadal 's chances are slim too on that count. Of course Federer can never catch up with Nadal on H2H.
True
@@celestialspartan7977 Never say "never", dude. Federer's catching up in his H2H with Nadal.

@@travisbickle5279 Thanks. I ended up finding it on another platform in late March. That platform did miss the first game, but other than that, I finally saw it. The match seemed even closer than the score suggested.
@@travisbickle5279 Come on guys, out with the link, please.
What was the point if you know what I mean.
Are they really talking about the end of Federer’s career here 😂😂😂 wtf is wrong with these commentators? He lost a major semifinal against the future greatest player ever, and he made it to 3 out of 4 semifinals that year.
When Federer wins a point, these commentators sound like they are celebrating the birth of their first son, and when he loses it is like someone in their family has died. There is not much professional objectivity and impartiality ;)
yes there is, both are being incredibly detailed and insightful as to what and why its happening. You being nothing but a dumb, stanning Serb, would never understand.

of course, Djoker is anti-vaccine
Federer really lost the mental battle here, losing those two breaks in the second was a body blow.
Doesn’t matter nadal was unbeatable anyways in this tournament
Ertugrul Körpinar doesn’t matter? Maybe if you’re a Fedfan in denial. I’m sure it mattered to Federer. It’s a major semifinal. Pretty big deal.
Owen Lewis I’m just saying he would’ve lost the final beating Djokovic here or not
I love Federer but he loses his mentality against Nadal and Djokovic most of the time. Up a break in the first set and loses. Up TWO breaks in the second set and loses it. Horrible mental game.
and when novak or nadal loose against federer, is that also because of the mentality things execuse or whatever...
@@travisbickle5279 Maybe, but the head to head in slams is not even close. Federer against Djokovic is pretty much game over mental breakdown. Last year, one of the most painful days of my life, I saw Federer choke on his serve with two Championship points. I do think the more aggressive backhand tactics has turned the tide against Nadal, but Del Potro and Djokovic make Federer mentally crumble. Gun to my head bet I don't go Federer in those scenerios. Sad, but true.
@@robertferguson7804 i am a hardcore djokovic fan but i must say, there is a reason why federer has in his era until AO 2010 a 4-1(win 80% of the matches) h2h by grandslam against djokovic....and djokovic win in his era also 80% of the matches from 2011-16 against(8-2) federer by grandslam= the win rage is the same. Watch more to the win rage... But for that federer beat many many times delpotro....YOU CAN NOT WIN EVERY TIME....Djokovic and nadal has also the same problem with wawrinka, murray or delpotro.....
@@robertferguson7804 On good days players like murray, delpo, wawrinnka can beat everybody; BUT ONLY GOOD DAYS IS NOT ENOUGH, if you want be THE GOAT.... IF YOU WANT be the GOAT like federer, nadal and djokovic you have to keep developing. IF you compare the match between Nadal vs delptro US OPEN 2009 and Nadal vs delpotro US OPEN 2017, then you will see that delpotro plays 2017 the same tennis like 2019, but if you see nadal 2017= everything changed,THE forehand, backhand, serve, return, can hit the ball earlier etc....this is the big different between players like the big 3 Federer, nadal, djokovic and all the other players... the big 3 have have continued to develop....but players like tsonga, berdych, delpotro, cilic, hewitt etc plays always the same tennis in his career

Fed actually reluctant to win the match because he knew FO owned by Rafa Nadal.
Maximum of Unforced errors is the main defect of Federer, everybody like Djokovic,Nadal & others are get the huge advantage against Federer....apart from, mental strength is also not up-to-mark....
1:06:50 to 1:07:53 Commentary..
Federer need to admit Novak is so much better...but too egoist ...
easy prey for the 🐐
Federer struggled to defeat peak level Djokovic because his backhand became a shank hand.
Talk about revenge
this racket was too small
It’s like a toy isn’t it 😂
Federer just was 🚀🚀🚀 very good but lucky djokovic just won the mach 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
thank you for uploading this, first of all. And, 48:30 - I just want to say - as smart as both those guys are, especially Courier … that was *not* Djokovic "swinging out of his shoes" to win that game! It was all Federer's fault - taking a mental break, really; thinking that he had won the set. Djokovic's backhand down the line was reckless, or, carefree - as they put it, correctly - but even the return at 0-30, Federer should have had that! He should have at *least* put it back in play, if not half-volleyed it to the open court with enough pace that Djokovic would have to hustle to get to. Every single point of that game except the dart of a backhand down the line by Novak was Federer utterly taking a mental break (and understandably so! I mean, this is a tense matchup, with Djokovic, and the first set didn't help things for Fed. The second set I believe he thought was his, and he was trying to coast SO EFFING BLATANTLY, and it cost him *big*). … All that being said, ofc respect to Djokovic for his level of play. But yeah, this was one of the more frustrating matches to watch, as a Federer fan. Especially since he took a bit of a mental break in the first set even! Had he consolidated his break, winning that first set would have been 90% likely, I think. Probably he would have been a favorite (~60, 65% favorite, IMHO) to win the match. … But, at any rate, this is ancient history. I just like to watch and analyze Federer matches, especially against the rivals, Djokovic and Nadal.
Cormorant_on_aRock I had to shout 'had he consolidated his break' or 'had he taken his chances' a little too often during those 2011-2015. Made it so hard to accept losses that I didn't even want to watch highlights of some matches I missed until recently
yeah, I tried to block a lot of matches like this out right away too. I think Federer just gets a little too nervous. Simple as that. He wants to win so badly (or maybe he dreads so badly the looming possibility of losing) that he gets nervous in the big moments against dangerous players, mainly Djoko and Nadal. I believe that, in the recent Cincinnati final, he tried to overcome the nerves by playing *uber* aggressive! that way he wouldn't have to think at all - and he wound up hitting himself out of the match - hitting so many balls long, and missing way wide; no control thru spin. But! the good news is that he played pretty awesomely (I thought) getting to the Cincy final, and he still somehow had a chance to sneak back into that match, despite playing like absolute garbage, to be honest. And, most encouraging, the main error which ruined his chances to win Cincy - if I'm right, the decision to play head down, full speed ahead style of tennis - is very easily remedied: you simply don't do that! And you accept the tension of the match, during the match. (Now that is the difficult part; I am Federer's age, and I understand that aging is tiring on the nerves just as much as the body). … OK I'm done. Lol. Just rambling here.
@@cormorant_on_arock7934That Cincy final was terrible. I had to watch it online with weak wifi so maybe that added to my bad impression. I felt like he just sort of gave up in the end and accepted the fact that nothing was gonna work that day. Djokovic didn't have to play that well. I haven't watched many matches in which Fed played really well since after AO18. Even that AO18 final was below par
@@cormorant_on_arock7934 hey just read your Comment. I'm a big Federer fan also and watch parts of his old matched all the time. I admit Federer is mentally weak. His US open semi final in 11 defeat was absolutely terrible. Would you like to discuss more if his old matches?
Federer is: - Careless when he gets ahead. Not allowing him to capitalise on breaks he got - Awful when he has break points. When he has a break point he will almost always play a defensive point, resulting in Djokovic dominating the rallies. Just watch Federer when he has a break point. He suddenly starts slicing when there’s no need. - Really bad when he’s down a break. He surrenders a set way too easily. A trait that Nadal and Nole don’t have. - As I’ve noticed, he’s surprisingly nervous under pressure. Far too nervous, I would argue. The only thing he does well under pressure is serve. It’s insanely frustrating to be a Federer fan, because he has the level of tennis to beat Nole more than he did. However, he lacks the mental strength to do so. USO 2010 could have been his, USO 2011 should have been his, RG 2012 could have gone to four or five sets, Wimbledon 2015 should have been his, USO 2015 should have been a tighter match. You can tell me Nole’s level was too high and you’d be absolutely right. However, it’s not Federer’s tennis that can’t keep up with Nole, it’s his head.
1:45:52 lol "maybe just one more"
LOL although to be fair at that time we all thought the same thing but Federer proved us all wrong.
Did federer lose on purpose here? Federer maybe did regret he beat djokovic 2011, since he wants nadal to be crushed
