There is a way to choose rarity on the coffin, the little light on the left side of it changes color, hit it on yellow. Also, I'm sad I can't speedrun in this game, cuz I quite literally have the worst luck... (i.e. freakin China lake outta the legendary reward)

One time when i attempted the easter egg, i had a glitch where i left the aether after the step with giving vogel his diary. The glitch was that basically i could do anything i please and every type of zombie would ignore me. But i had to restart because no boss would get close enough to the decontamination chamber
Since the game has came out I have not once got the ray gun from anything the ee or the mystery box my luck is 00.1 % I swear
It took me 24 hours of play to get it once
i got it on round 18 in a solo, and then the very next game as a duo, i got it twice, about 10 rounds apart, round 30 something and then 40 something

i just did the easter egg solo today and i did the aether scope jump thing and the stamin up crystal trick just not knowing it wasn’t the normal strat lol
I was doing the tank step with friends and I only had drags so I just tried to do a mgs and nail it in the hatch. I missed with one and the other bounced off on the side this guy was on and blew up a good ways away, so how it was close enough on the ground to cause the tank to fire and I freaked like damn that was lucky.

fun fact to help speedrun die maschine : For the tank part ypu DONT have to have a semtex, it works with any explosive as long as you get it in the tank or on the lid, even c4 work

Now that I think about, back to when I was playing ignorantly, I recall ever getting a legendary (wonder weapon) not waiting. Not that I knew that waiting would change a "color" or that I was doing it intentionally but I only recall getting the wonder weapon or Ray gun after coming back to the box after being chanced off

The RayGun works on the tank step of the ee. I used it earlier instead of a semtex
I don't know if it's in the video yet but the box during the coffin easter egg has changed colors from green, blue, purple, yellow and if you open it during those colors you have a higher chance of getting the weapon rarity you want
I watched a tips and tricks and with the coffin Easter egg the smiling face on the box it will move between color rarity so just open it on the legendary teir and you'll get that teir instead of randomized
To Noah and any zombie players, The best attachment on the Galo/Spas is the last barrel mod that increases range by 80 or so % Melts the megatons in one clip, when there’s four players and up to round 40 (tested)
I wonder if you can aether shroud through the doors while the fusing together cutscene is happening to get out of that too. Idk what his plan was on what to work on during that time but that might shave some time off

You can proct a skip to the boss fight by pulling chopper gunner right before it pulls you into the boss fight, and use the tier 3 to phase through the purple wall that blocks you inside the boss fight, therefore you can run straight to the heli spot wait 45sec. And you can leave

Im currently trying to work on a Dr. Vogel reroute. It involves the Disco Zombie Aetherscope pickup thing that happens. It activates a certain god mode that I cant get out of.......
Noah I believe on my first ee attempt solo on this, I used aether shroud right next to the beams and still took damage.
Ive gotten the die from that ee I’ve done that ee many many times and never the ray gun
There is a new way to cheese it and speed run it. If you got aether shroud with the teleport ability, before it gets patch at the final boss when he is talking you can try to go to one of the pink block of location and teleport and it seems you can teleport pass it go up to where the extract is at and wait it there while killing zombies. Codenamepizza accidentally discover it and it seems the fight doesn't even happen as you not there so the machines get all done fast
love to see some speed runs done on console as well

the aether shroud strat prob will be a different category bc that's op
the fastest way to get a wonder weapon is by round 4, if you get a trial that requires equipment kills, use the tomahawk and you'll get an increased rarity every other kill so you can get legendary in less than 10 kills. requires major rng and resets to get perfect but afterwards you can get easter egg finished before round 7.
In speedrunning normally when stuff like that gets patched out 1 of 2 things happens. 1. They only count the runs done not using the patched glitch Or 2. People end up having to play the version with the glitch in order to compete for WR
The coffin easter egg crate does despawn after awhile, I think I left it for a round and it was gone
I did the glitch where you can talk to the ghost with the atheoscope during the disco box thing and now all my zombies run around and stand in one spot and don't attack me
Noah ik exactly how you feel, i live in a country where the wifi is very bad and there is no electricity most of the time so i can’t play a game for more than 40 min without disconnecting or something like that

The little screen that shows the face on the coffin box (EE) tells you what rarity you'll get from it
On a downward slope, you can sort of g-slide like in BO3, chaining either two or three together
When a route gets removed because of a patch, the category would become the Pre-patch category. If there's multiple patches, then the category might also include versions of the patches (1.05 etc). Generally though, unless pre-patch versions of the game are easily accessible, which they often aren't, especially in 2020 where most people are buying games digitally, pre patch categories generally die off.
So I was just playing and I found out when you are running to the helicopter after the boss fight, if you go through med bay and after the first corner you take to kinda face towards speed cola you can aether shroud and it will teleport you up the ledge where the anomaly is and then you will be invisible for the next 8 secs so you can get to the helicopter super fast that way.

Going through weapons is faster at the end and also if you don't have the bowie for melee you can melee the electric box to light it up..
