My favorite part of the game was finding the planet with all the clones of huge figures of humanity and freeing them. It’s awesome.

I think I finished the main story at hour 40. Going to speed through again for the powers and then on a third run I’ll do a side quests

37:42 see the "speed" output in time split overlay? that is one very good means to tell if a clip has happened. some runners look for the speed during pause menu, some for the time after the menu got closed. it's a bit complicated. other runners rely on visual cues without this overlay, but these are hard to spot in a video on youtube since the relevant frame might have been dropped by the encoder.

Says who? I never once, in close to 300hrs, saw my character look at his watch. Neither have I ever seen said watch on my characters arm.

Apparently every time you land somewhere random it creates a new seed environment and locations with boundaries. So you can never really explore the whole planet. Or Something lol. Saw a video somewhere.

one side mission takes 10 hours to beat
In Skyrim the vendors also have vendor chests with all their items they sell and money, mostly out of bounds underneath the store, but with a ol' lil bucket its easy to get to them.
I’m pretty sure I have a day and half played and I still haven’t even beaten the main story and can agree when you say it feels old engine wise but it feels extremely polished and looks pretty atleast

Vendor manipulation chest glitch first I saw and used it on was on Skyrim can find them everywhere but they are patched if you use the unofficial skyrim patch mod otherwise without any mods there easily accessible

The vendors having a physical storage where you can access their inventories has been a thing for a while, Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout NV, all had something similar. Even Fallout 1 & 2 (which weren’t Bethesda games) had them

I agree, if this came out 5 years ago this game would be an 8+ (potentially with deeper quest lines) but as a 2023 game I find it being 5.5/10 maybe a 6, I have about 180 hours total in game

@@OuttPlayz no it good when you look to explore “space”, but I’m tired of people comparing the two. No Man’s Sky is a space simulator while Starfield is an RPG game.
It’s a good one, I just started it a few weeks ago and I’ve been really enjoying it also. Unfortunately (especially for a streamer who constantly needs engaging footage to keep the view count up) I feel like it’s very easy to get caught up doing nothing but randomly aimlessly wandering around, and I don’t think it would do well as a streamer game. I could totally be wrong, just a personal opinion. I’ve dabbled in main quest stuff, side quest stuff, anomaly quest stuff, etc…definitely fun times but tough to keep engaging vids sometimes.

If you choose to do it on your own you get both weapons at the end of the game if you choose one you only get that one weapon I wish my battle was that easy I'm almost 15 level ahead of this guy with a 390k ship and get instantly melted

You should really check out the Fallout: New Vegas speedrun, it blows all these games out of the water in terms of what you can do in speedrunning. Also it's a much better game.

For what he said in the beginning about starfield feeling like a game made for 5 years ago thats just really big ive felt like that for alot of the more recent games coming out no one besides like baldurs gate 3 has that like "next gen" feel, interms of innovating content

After 50 plus hours (NG+4), I haven’t felt like I’ve scratched the surface, but at the same time, grinding high level planets gets old, I’m still going to play. But the odds of getting legendary gear needs to be more, I’m level 45, fighting 94 level bosses and on very hard difficulty, the “boss” will drop a rare weapon. 7/10 for me.

It's a pretty good speedrun, but the game is kinda dry bones. Needs a ton of work and/or mods. Give it a year or 2, and I think it'll be worth paying full price if you don't use Game Pass. Otherwise, I can't recommend it for full price personally.

I liked this game... wanted to love it so bad but this game engine showed its age HARD. Also i felt like they didnt put any emphasis on the extra content. Building a ship and exploring systems outside of the story just didnt feel rewarding or important beyond just saying you did it and the new game plus takes all of your stuff 😮💨

Its pretty easy to see that speed run because the game is that shallow. You can speed run NG+ in 15 mins legit runs.
Interesting. Current WR is 28mins. Would you mind telling us how to speedrun NG+ in 15 mins?
the best way is to avoid any combat just run straight to the objective. the longest part is the last fight, but if you can persuade them not to fight even better.
