  • I remember I recommended watching one oof these speedruns on Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas. If you think this is impressive, you should check out the speedrun on Fallout: New Vegas. ItsJabo also did a really good video on the main glitch used to break the New Vegas speedrun. He talks about the history and such. I think that would be worth watching in your own time at least.

  • i think the difference in development of these games from 10-20 years ago to now has a lot to do with the speedrunning community in general. back then people played games how they were intended. There wasnt a whole community of people trying everything they can to break the game to do it faster. Back then they would probably know about problems and say “dont worry about that because the player would never put themselves in that scenario if they are trying to play the game correctly”
