Just in case you say "Oh they want the money", then why allow the Vault Hunter to keep respawning to kill Jack himself and the Warrior? It would only make sense up until you reach that point (sense he does want to kill you himself so respawning would allow you to reach him). Plus they are already rich as fuck and any money you make on the way could already be obtainable after he wiped all life on Pandora out, unless the Warrior burned everything. I thought the reasoning why they did that was because they thought it would be funny.

They seem lackluster, but that's because they basically took over the role of Atlas from BL1, They've got all the accuracy of Hyperion and the firerate of Vladof with S&S magazine capacities and damage that frequently rivals old Torgue. I used to avoid Dahl because the damage is a bit lacking compared to Jackobs, but then I played as Moze and discovered just how powerful the guns really are.

Tediore couldn't fix it, so they marketed it as a "feature"--instead of "life-threatening"--added digistruct tech, and voila. Tediore's stock soared overnight

  • I like to imagine Hyperions Pistols became their SMG‘s as their SMG‘s this time in 3 look very much like Machine Pistols

    @MILDMONSTER1234@MILDMONSTER1234 Жыл бұрын
    • The Hyperion pistols became both SMGs and shotguns. The BL3 Hyperion shotguns often end up being just slightly oversized pistols. Most likely, with Athena at the helm they decided to make their weapons more compatible with dual-wielding and off-hand use which then made their pistols redundant, that's my head canon anyway.

The gun at 28:17 uses the torgue barrel (or the barrel that we mostly see on the stinkpot) another AR that uses Hyperion / Maliwan Stock, and another AR that is right before the 28:17 AR that uses an "flamethrower" barrel that was in bl2 on e tech SMG's

  • I want to compare each manufacturer to a real world company. Jakobs - Henry. Their dedication to levergats reminds me greatly of Jakobs. They also utilize wood and blued steel. They're also starting to make 9mm carbines. S&S - Glock. A smallish company that makes guns, among other things, especially things related to weapons, but not directly weapons. Glock has, in the past, made doorknobs, shower curtain rods, entrenching tools, knives, and the links to link ammunition for firing from a belt fed. They also currently produce firewood and horse semen. I may be writing this to share this fact. Vladof - The whole gamut of soviet arms designers. The USSR was quite weird with weapon manufacturing, with most of the weapons being made by state arsenals. The point was to arm as many soldiers as needed with simple weapons that could be easily trained on. During the Cold War, many of the soldiers that the USSR had were conscripts, and many of them came from villages with low literacy rates that lacked electricity and running water. A lot of them were effectively medieval peasants. Hyperion - Heckler and Koch. They produce high end, exceptionally reliable firearms that are overbuilt for combat zones. They utilize often unusual mechanisms, such as the roller delayed mechanism present in many of their long guns, but primarily the G3 and the MP5. The MP5 specifically is known to run like a sewing machine, with minimal recoil and impressive accuracy under full auto fire. They also make some insane, off the wall weapons, like the G11, which is designed to use caseless ammo and has an internal mechanism more comparable to a clock than a gun. Atlas - Wilson Combat. With Wilson Combat, we get into weapons that are more intended as luxury items and collector pieces, but are still not unreasonable to bring into combat. They utilize all sorts of hand fit parts and build their weapons to be as reliable as they are nice. They come with a price tag to match, however. Dahl - Sig Sauer. They produce some of the best weapons for the money. Highly reliable, usually somewhat modular, especially their more recent stuff, like the MCX, P365, and P320. They have won the contract for the M17 and M18 series of handguns for the US Army and Marine Corps respectively, and the XM7 rifle (previously the XM5, but was renamed as Colt has a trademark on M5) and the XM250 machine gun are promising, even if I think it's an uphill battle to replace the 5.56 as the standard infantry cartridge. I do think that the XM250 could replace the M249 in a lot of roles, as it's lighter. Maliwan - Kel Tec. Now, I'm not taking into consideration Kel Tec's reputation, but you can't deny they make some seriously innovative designs. The KSG is a pump shotgun which can cram a massive 14+1 rounds of 12ga into a barely above 26 inch package. The P3AT beat the LCP to the punch in practically microscopic .380s, and arguably beat the P365 to the ultra-compact concealed carry market by almost a decade, with the P9. That's just a few, but if anyone has anything to add, please do.

In mine cart mischief Tannis says that some of the bandits used to be scientists who have gone mad over time. Those who used to be scientist now filled with bloodlust and a taste for blood made guns with more bullets to shoot people longer. So, you can assume that none of the playable characters get shot in the head or heart during the game: it’s not too much a stretch since lore-wise, injury is treated seriously. But Roland gets shot in the heart, which the new-u can’t fix, so he dies.

I believe they were all legendary at some point, but from the moment they were sold by manufacturers or stolen, they started to wear out and their parts started to have problems, so they started using spare parts from other manufacturers. Jack grew the company to great lengths but in exchange for killing off the higher ups. Then after Tales I think the lost of the space station and staff the company hit a new low with money. By BL3 it could be assumed that the company is now getting back on its feet. But to save money they had to cut production down to only 3 types of weapons. When the user is shooting by the hip, the button isn´t pressed so it fires auto, but while aiming down sights you have to push the buttstock into your elbow so your elbow activates the other modes of shooting

It's also the tech Gaige uses to summon & transport Deathtrap. Anything using digistruct tech gets constructed in the real world, converted into a digital code to be stored, and then gets built by the digistruct module when called on. Tediore weapons, rather than being a proper weapon, are more like the blueprint of a weapon.each gun is assembled with a pre-determined amount of ammo from your supply, and once thrown away another one is constructed from the blueprint right into your hand rather than waiting to reload.

The real reason is because since they added a new manufacture, the consoles at the time (ps4 and xbone) didn't have the memory space to handle that big of an potential inventory generator. So, Tediore, COV, Maliwan, and Hyperion all lost a category or 2 of weapon type to make way for Atlas. Atlas in BL1, Dahl, Hyperion, and Maliwan are all ridiculously large enough to occupy and invade worlds. Meanwhile S&S, Tediore, and Jakobs feel vastly smaller(Jakobs was small enough that Aurelia truly believed she could buy it) and even then Jakobs had enough money to set up operations on Gehenna and then bomb large parts of the planet. Even the companies size changing between games such as Hyperion growing smaller after BL2 and losing the rights to Atlas, and how that reflected by the types of weapons downsizing.
