His last 6 months have been insane a Grand Slam, the Davis Cup, a Master's 1000, and 2 ATP 500s🤯🤯🤯
Clamoroso!
And finalist at Finals
calm down ultra lad. He is just getting started!!!!
@@kieran1990ableTrue, true. He's running Carlos hot 🔥🔥 now.
Too true.
How He talks about his family is just amazing and he also mentioned his brother Mark, who has been adopted before Jannik was born. They have a very special bond. Wonderful family.
And have to be very careful with adopted children.
@@johnoneill7947why?
@@johnoneill7947what do you mean?
@@johnoneill7947 Jannik's brother is a grown man now, they adopted him when he was barely a toddler. Based on what I read, He's a good guy and hard worker as well as Jannik.
"I like to dance in the pressure storm" What a boss 😎
Yeah, that was the most profound statement. This guy is no choker, real deal.
He wasn't sure how to express in english that feeling. Eventually he came out with a memorable statement. What a lovely guy.@@xdude57
Alcaraz must be envious of this attitude
He started to win after that loss against Djoko in 2022 Wimbledon after being 2x0 ahead.
@@patrikmarflak6559Alcaraz actually gave him a very beautiful congratulatory message, he is a good sportsman and they are both good friends too😊
A champion that everyone can love!!!😊
“Pressure is a privilege, I like to dance in the pressure storm”…love that…very impressed by him, awesome win!!
wise great fantastic Jannik we love U
You got to love this youngster. He’s so humble and kind. Keep it up Jannik and congratulations I can’t wait to see you and Carlos in a grand slam final match. 😊
I loved what he said, calling "Pressure" a privilege; he likes dancing in the pressure's Storm, Sinner is an inspiration, and a great champion, congratulation for the AO Trophy !
I don't think I have seen a player so young express himself so well in a language not his mother tongue. He achieved something great yesterday yet he remains modest and so eloquent. He reminds me in some ways of Roger who, by the way, also won his first GS at 22 y.o. Good luck for the future Yannik, we'll all be watching. Bravo!
This man is on a mission. Impressive performance and champion mindset!
The humility, the depth, the wisdom, the composure, the discipline this young man has are unreal. "I like to dance in the pressure storm" is like a line out of a poem. When I thought I'd never be able to see a fellow Italian win a men's singles GS title in this life, Carotino proved me wrong. You made us Italians proud today, grazie Jannik 🥕🧡🇮🇹
"when you see big names on the draw"...the guy is so humble he still doesn't get that, for other player, HE is one of the big names already in a draw...simply amazing. He just won a slam, but talks of other players as "big names" to admire...
He's right. He won 1 Slam, not 24.
@@b.hornetiii.6771who cares!
@@b.hornetiii.6771He’s ranked 4 in the world and has been in the top 10 for a while; he’s definitely one of the biggest names in tennis right now!
@@sammyt3514 Even worse, he would than by your logic have now already 10 GS.
@@b.hornetiii.6771 he's 22, not 37
Winning… coming from behind… staying positive…. really remarkable champ…!!!
Coming from behind, thats the salt of life
What a young talent! Calm, respectful and so lovely!
Congrats Jannik! We were one of the millions watching from Florida and cheering you! Well done mate.....it is only the beginning for you...inspirational champ!!
His mentality is so incredible. "I like the pressure", what is wrong with you? xD Truly inspiring!
Bravo Jannik!!! We love you !!! Italy is so proud of you !!!

“Pressure is a privilege”. Wise beyond his years. Impressive young man.
Sinner you are a fantastic ambassador for Tennis. Thanks for being you.
Humble, calm and collected, what a champion!. Looking forward to following his career. I think RF was right when he predicted that Sinner was going to be Nr1.
How not to love this fantastic young champion? Thank you for making us proud to be italians.
Love from India
Sinner won, not we Italians. Stop living of second-hand success.
Tutti attribuiscono così i successi dei propri atleti, perché gli italiani dovrebbero fare eccezione. Divertitevi e festeggiate @@jojojo3521
@@jojojo3521haha still he is Italian that what matters
@@jojojo3521Envy is a bad feeling, poor you.
When you dethrone a legend who garnered 23 grand slams, it speaks volumes. This is only the beginning of an illustrious tennis career. Humble and articulate, he is on his way to the paths of past legends. Always knew this kid will do it and it was only a matter of time. Best of luck in your future matches and looking forward to another epic slam finals in the coming years!
Was für eine charakterliche Reife und Erdung für einen 22-Jährigen. Haben seine Eltern wohl Vieles richtig gemacht. Er unglaublich diszipliniert und intelligent, und sein Talent ist die Basis. Unglaublich sympathisch netter Kerl. Toller Vertreter und Botschafter. Wünsche ihm nur das Beste! Glückwunsch Jannik🥂
Genau!😁
To hear a 22 year old express himself with such wisdom and composure is unreal. The scary part for his competitors, IMO, is you can tell he believes and practices everything he is saying. I can't wait to see what his future holds!
He has had the GOAT (Djokovic) to learn from and has adopted a lot of his philosophies
@@matthewrigg893 I agree that Djokovic, as well as likely Federer and Nadal, have probably all had a major influence on Sinner's developmental philosophy. However, NONE of those players had the level-headed and calm approach to improvement that Sinner has demonstrated. I have never seen him scream or rant or break a racket after losing a match even in his earliest years on the tour. He seems to intuitively understand that failures are part of the process of growth and that pressure should be embraced rather than avoided.
@@Johnnybgood76he has the game of novak....but novak is of most aggressive personality of the three, his personality is that of nadal, always cool and calm even under pressure...
The Italian king has arrived.
His parents were told they could never have a child, so they adopted a little boy from Rostov (Russia) two years before Yannik was born. He is a firefight instructor now.
and?
@@TaninoWoods Well, I just think it's a nice coincidence that both Sinner's brother and Medvedev are Russian. Yannik and Danil have shown to be extremely respectful and appreciative of each other both on and off field. I didn't know Medvedev much as a player before but today he impressed me.
@@lilise3965Sinner has been respectful with everyone so far. Although it's a nice and positive thing what you said so I won't hold it against you! 😄
Sinner, Alcaraz, Daniil are good person and good vibes to the new generation. They will win the next 20 slams after Djoko retires...dont know other player in their level...
@@WillianJr104 I was hoping Ruud would be on that list (at least for The French Open) because he’s absolutely one of the nicest guys in tennis, but it doesn’t look like he’s going to hang with everyone else. 😢
The guy speaks very well for a young 22 year old .
Sinner' s a real likeable guy....happy he won
Super Sinner forever! He can play a legendary tennis!
Congrats Mr. Sinner.., You Sir are a amazing Talent and a class Act...
As Italian PROUD of YOU Young Man!!! Greeting from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Very Very Very Well Done!! Bravo!!!
The Monaco health care system is also proud of Jannik!! Thank you!!!
He’s very down to earth and humble reminds me of B. Borg great player and very likable young man.
La vita è bella!! Congrats to Sinner for this EPIC VICTORY...At 22yo he already became one of most important Italian sportmen. Impossible not to love him, the public is and will be always rooting for him because he's so nice, respectful and humble, and he's so wonderful at playing tennis. in his interview all his being 100% Italian came out when he thanked his mum and dad for being so great with him... Only an Italian does that. Same as Benigni did when he won the Oscar for la vita è bella. And yes, la vita è bella... Grande Sinner 😊 A new Valentino Rossi guys 😊
Actually Sinner is Italian German, as Djokovic is Serbo-Kosovar-Croatian. Even, I think, Jannik speaks English more with German than with Italian accent. But yes. Sinner as Italian-born Italian citizen represents Italy and Djokovic as Serbia(then part of Yugoslavia)-born Serbian citizen represent Serbia.
@@ballbreathtaker9773that’s true !
Grande Sinner!!! only Montecarlo citizens could be more proud than italians 😉.
Sinner is not Italian. He is from Südtirol. They speak Tirolian (Austrian/German accent)
@@chrschtschow Sinner is 100% Italian instead, as nationality and moreover as way of being. Listen again his speech and you'll know it. 100% Italian
Such a positive guy and force, no bs just mature talk and action, let the game do the talking
I love Jannik, he's great
What an incredible match. Dannils tactics and shot making to start was incredible, he needs to do that more. Sinner weathered it and finally got his serve going in the 3rd set and the match turned. Massive challenge, mental and physical hurdle for him also. Huge congrats to both. Amazing AO, loved it. Thank you to all.
Honestly I think he is the only one genuinely nice and sincere guy in top 10. Some others try to pretend there are, but this man is real. Hope I’m not mistaken. Love from Russia champ!
Novak is genuine and honest - what you say refers to Nadal and Federer- pretenders never dine anything for young players in contrary Novak started PTPA and genuinely congrats to Alcaraz and Sinner on their momentum - CHAPEAU Novak
Rublev is an amazing guy with a lovely personality .you should not include him in the sentence. I really love to listen Andrey's interviews He is so sincere and always humble and respectful talking about other players..I wish him the best and achieving soon great trophy!
@@TheZinnizyou are talking the opposite. That Novak is so hypocrite that he thinks he is the tennis man. Can I give you a little insight, he is the most hated player, no class at all. Barbaric attitude at its finest

good kid, good heart, congrats. you well deserve it - even more than Dan, with full respect to him as well.
We love you Jannik Siiner. CONGRATULATIONS!
In months from now Jannik will be No1 in the world
You go Jannik! I sensed a shift in Sinner after his gutwrenching 4th round loss at the 2023 US Open, and look at him now😊 Jannik and his team have done a tremendous job tinkering every aspect of his game. Ever since Jannik did a complete team overhaul back in 2022, he's become a force to be reckoned with. Alotta people doubted his decision initially, but it proved to be a wise one. Excited to see what lies ahead for the young Italian! Look out ATP tour, the 🦊 has arrived!
Muchas felicidades Jannik, juventud y gran talento.
It is very mature young man, bravo!
I like to dance in the pressure storm. Damn he already thinks like a champ
Grande Jannik, keep it going 🎾🎾🎾
*BRAVO JANNIK!!! ITALIA AVANTE!!!* Qazaq, from Qazaqstan con ammirazione!!!
And this year, he'll win 2-3 M1000, another GS between Wimbledon and USO, maybe another Davis cup, atp finals and the 1st place in ranking. Mark my words😊
Non portare sfiga 😅
Alcaraz said last year that Jannik can become No.1 this year. he knows how good jannik is. hopefully he will now work hard and remain focused.
Yes, I too believe so....he can win another slam this year....alcaraz will win French.....novak,sinner will win either of Wimbledon or us open....Anyway, sinner will become most successful player of this year and world no.1....
@@leominerva3494 la sfiga non esiste e poi giammai potrei con Jannik

The best point is when he says his parents have never put pressure on him. Much healthier environment to grow in than many others in sports'stories
So happy for jannik. Had a feeling this was his moment, but didn't totally trust that Medvedev wouldn't dig in and make this very tight.
congrats to… JANNIK SINNER 🎉🎉🎉 🎾🎾🎾🏆🏆🏆 Amazing AO.
Glückwunsch Jannik. Mega Leistung und verdienter Erfolg. Lass es krachen!
After beating Novak in the semis, its like Novak has handed over the baton to Jannik. Such an impressive win for his first Grand Slam 💪🏆✨.. To come back from 2 sets down was simply amazing and inspiring. He has incredible sporting talent and the perfect persona to match - humble, respectful, intelligent and gracious. This will be the first of many Grand Slams for Jannik. So happy he was able to win his first one here in Melbourne at the Happy Slam. It will always hold happy memories for him 😊💪💯🏆✨💫🫶
I think he is better than alcaraz..... he will be the most dominant player of next Era, winning more slams than any other player in next 5 years.....but he has to stay healthy mostly and slightly improve his net game, otherwise his game looks complete to me...I have seen great improvement in his net game in last 6 months but it needs further improvement.... even minimal improvement in his net game will make him a world beater in years to come....
11:02 pressure makes brightest diamond Congratulations🎉🎉
Congratulations champ!
Congratulations Sinner for your win
He was very very tense and emotional at the beginning of the match. Danil played clever, varied shots.
Danil would have won if he had been a little fresher, but his playing style causes him to spend far more time than necessary. In order to shorten points, he needs to make a change in his game and attempt to reach the net more frequently.
@@theUroshman He played beautifully. He had studied Sinner's game perfectly, the match changer was when Yannik managed to get back from 5-1 to 5-3 in the second set. Personally being Italian I was siding for Sinner. He awfully needed to prove himself finally winning a major. But I feel sorry for Danil. I wish him better luck next time!
@@lilise3965I hope Medvedev is going to become a different player after this eye-opening final. He must have realized, that If he actually played the whole tournament the way he started this match, he would have been much fresher for the final. He can become even more dangerous than he ever was, if he keeps working on his all court game.
Yeah, me too. And although I agree Meddy played beautifully, I am still certain that he will have to work it out how to shorten points and try not to spend so many hours on court prior to playing in the finals. He had energy for 2 sets, and then, only he can tell how he felt when he lost the 3rd, and realized that he has to play the 4th, and perhaps the 5th, although his body and mind are running on near empty. @@lilise3965
Sinner and Alcaraz, worthy successors to Novak and Nadal.
I was thinking Rune as well but I think he'll need a little longer.
@eyeofthetiger6002. Don't leave Federer out please. It's 3not 2. Lol 😅😅
Nobody can succeed Fed 😂
@@dorothysmith3205 Alcaraz definitely carries elements of Roger in his game, but he has the passion of Rafa. While Sinner has elements of Novak gamewise but has the calmness and demeanor of Roger.

Grandissimo Campione, grazie!
After over 3 hours of playing the last point was insane! What a brutal force! And He is only 22 years old!
Great player, far more mature and focused than Alcaraz at this point. I have not seen this comparison yet, but his groundstrokes and determination reminds me of ... have you heard of him... Ivan Lendl. When he got into his stride..eventually he dominated for more than 5 years.

Good things happen for a reason. For context, he lost five setters at Wimbledon 2022, USO 2023 (Though he had match poiny), AO 2023, FO 2023, USO 2023 but chatacter is forged in steel by fire. Despite all his suffering he learned and improved and finally turned it around in the best possible way in AO 2024.
