    • Nah, Sinner's defense was bad in the first two sets and he made some errors, then he really started to lock in and hit some huge shots, was not really about Medvedev

      @thomasmcgrath6873@thomasmcgrath68733 ай бұрын
    • @@thomasmcgrath6873 your analysis is bad. Medvedev had him on the ropes and Sinner did these errors because of Medvedev. But Sinner didn’t mentally break from that and fought his way back into the match. And it’s clear that Medvedev ran out of stamina at some point because his playstyle requires a lot of it and he already had several 5-setters in his legs. And after Medvedev wasn’t able to finish the job in the third set, it was pretty much game over

Sinner has the power of Alcaraz and the constancy and mental strength of Djokovic. He is the player to beat now on hard courts and perhaps on grass.

Period. I think he knows a little bit more than you. Stop finding excuses every time he loses. The truth Is that Sinner Is ICE cold and too mentally strong to be conditioned by the psychological tricks Djokovic always applied in matches. Discussing with the crowd, losing time between points, 7 minutes bathroom pause, etc etc. Sinner doesn't care a f..ck!!! Since Sinner is more powerful than him, there Is not much he can do when sinner plays God mode. Same for Medvedev, rune, tsitsipas, maybe also alcaraz. Actually the only player who maybe can give him troubles Is zverev. But only because they didnt play recently. The great sinner strenght Is that every time he plays against you he learns something on how to beat you. Especially if he loses. He has a huge tennis IQ.

  • I hoped, that this year WTA/ATP/ITF, would stop this nonsense of mixing sport with politics. Every player should have right to play under her/his country's flag. One cannot choose the country of one's birth. Appointing "flag police" at the AO 2023 was not even childish... it was embarrassing and insane... Wars are run by politicians not sportsmen/sportswomen. Why during the invasion of Iraq, 20 year bombing of Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen and Pakistan not to mention the genocidal Vietnam war US, Australian, UK... athletes were allowed to compete under their national flag? USA invaded Iraq in 2003 and yet their flag was still allowed at the World Cup 2006 in Germany and 2010 in South Africa despite the fact they were still in Iraq. Either ban ALL flags of countries who go to war, or don't ban any of them. Interestingly enough Israeli tennis players Mika Buchnik and Guy Sasson are allowed to play under the national flag in AO 2024 despite the policy of their government towards Palestinians in Gaza. *** All wars are equal, but some wars are more equal than others.
