🥒 ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.
If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I'm a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

    • i hate it. luckily most things are left out, but me personally, i ain't tryna hear some animals whimpering and crying before they're slaughtered. think you have to be kinda deranged to enjoy that. it's different when you actually need to eat to survive, but we aren't. we're just watching a video.

    • @@RichardCranium321 nope, and yep! If I see one of those parts coming up I do skip it. I’m not gonna not watch the whole video cause I dislike 15 seconds out of 2 hours of content. Most of the time I’m laying in bed I ain’t getting up for that. I don’t mind the fish portions but hearing mammals cry is not a good thing to hear. I don’t hunt, I don’t eat beef, I don’t eat pork, I only eat fish and chicken. even the chickens be sad sometimes cuz they do be cuties.

      @Sffker@Sffker10 ай бұрын
    • @@Sffker SF has made y'all soft. I don't mind animals making basic animal noises... but I don't like the screaming when it's a wounded animal, like the zebra episode - but then to see his immediate remorse for the poor shot makes you realize his true love and appreciation of what he is doing... and I respect that as a hunter. Now, My favorite episode ever was the chick from the Philippines who was fawning over the milk brushed suckling pig that was tender enough to cut with the plate, her closing when asked about ppl getting mad over eating baby piglets and she goes "aww... The world is a harsh place. Deal with it" I fell in love for a minute, and then so did my girlfriend when she watched. But I also live in an area where wild pigs are billion dollar nuisance animals due to the insane amount of damage done to crops... not to mention the natural grazing grounds for indigenous deer/turkey species. Don't worry though. When I harvest I make sure they're gone before they even hear the shot though. I use a very specific lead free monolithic projectile thats traveling at close to 3X the speed of sound.... And everything, even the bones, gets used. Everything except for the hair, that is. We were also taught hog processing in the 9th grade in public schools though. So there's that.

Their foods are amazing, their personalities so friendly/caring- make friends with one and you got love for life-, and they aren't afraid to work hard and put their souls into it. My dream is to visit the Caribbean and really get to enjoy all the local culture & foods.

On another note, the conch is also a staple in Haitian cuisine but cooked very differently. The conch is also a part of Haiti's independence history. Look up 'Neg Maron', the conch was used to blow and sound the horn of independence during the revolution of 1804. Thank you and One love

When you get more millions, it would be great to visit the other islands and sample their unique dishes, unfortunately everything is so much more expensive on the family islands because they rely heavily on imports from Nassau. It all started when you were in Vietnam and I love how you always try something new, promote something that is unusual and most of all, eating all of those food even if its not to your liking. I hope a lot of Americans try to open up on this kind of attitude that it not all burgers and steak but there are other foods that exist that will excite their palette. Cheers, Sonny.

I also give them cooked left over rice or grits and bread. Purging them not only rids them of whatever they've been scavenging but it also makes them sweet and delicious!😁
