4:55 to set up the power sharing just go to settings and search "wireless power sharing" or enable it from the control panel, it usually is off by default or may not be even listed, just add it with the edit icon.
I have exynos variant of this and using close to 200 apps on this currently and still it runs pretty smoothly. Can easily rock this for another 2 years.
how much you can get that now? used phone
I also have an s21 exynos which I bought back in 2022. still doing great so far except for when im doing calls, it gets hot. especially when I multitask - having a videocall on the background/corner of the screen while using another app, it gets hot as asf. other than that, it's cool, especially the camera :)
u can try using the silicone case with a fur inside it gets little bit warm in touch when u do the heavy things on phone and will get hot@@francismagnusson378
My Exynos device got uncomfortably hot, which affected the battery life as well. Otherwise I would have kept it as long as IT receives software updates.
Replace the battery fella and you are good to go again for atleast 2 years@@JohnJohnson-jm8ku
According to GSMArena telephoto lens has only 1.1x optical zoom and combined with a crop it produces 3x hybrid zoom. I think that's why it's 64MP
Those guys are very monotonous
Thank you so much ❤
8:27 no wrong yes if you just look at the 12mp and the 64mp pic not a difference only in color maybe but when you start zooming in you can easly 100% see way clearer. if you don't you need different glasses
I just bought a S21 Fe last week for $200 it's the Snapdragon 888 variant. It was worth it since it look brandnew, no scratches or any dents.
Go to settings and battery then navigate wireless power sharing then click on, you have to on it anytime you want to use Thats how to use the reverse wireless charging
Being a Nigerian, that plastic back is just perfect for me! Only have to worry about screen protection😂
You get 😂😂 same here
If u want to reverse wireless charge an iPhone you place it exactly where the wirless charging coal is you might want to change the orientation on iPhone when cameras get in the way of it aligning to the wirless charging coal.
the only struggle that im experiencing on this phone is the gta definition from netflix lagging as heck on those games especialy in vice city and san andreas didnt tried the gta 3
64MP 3x zoom camera has a significant advantage- you can digitally zoom further without losing quality. It is pretty obvious, so don't know why you said high MPX camera is there for "no reason".
Flagships from the s10 era onwards still work very well performance wise. It just depends on how the battery performs/whether that has degraded. Agreed about the plastic backs vs glass though considering 95% of us put phones in a case glass backs seem fairly pointless but does sadly allow manufacturers to add another 10% to the price for using "premium" materials.
Nah tbh not the s10 😂😂😂😂😂😂. My s10 used to lag badly if I run cod mobile on max settings especially after 2 or 3 games. I currently have a note 20 ultra, this works like any flagship phone nowadays
@vikashmayrhoo5639 fair point if you are into gaming yeah while most apps and games will work well I suppose cod/genshin impact type games will have to have lower settings/fps. I'm also using s20 fe still, and the only reason I'd change is if the battery was dying quickly. For now I'm still getting a full day though.
Great analisis, continue with the good work. 🤝🏻
Thanks, Ive just got a good used s21+ after a short time with a cheap china phone, its nice to be back with a Samsung
Honestly before even watching the video with answer, when sooo many people are still using and bragging on the s21 FE and how outstanding that one is still going for everyone these days, it's just an easy automatic Yes, the even better true galaxy s21 is bound to be even more worth it. I have an s23 fe and it's been the best phone I've ever had hands down, even though the last phone I had (galaxy a52s) was a snapdragon, now I see what most people are saying the last year about new Exynos especially since the s24... it's real, real simple, Exynos went from bad/mid to straight up amazing just as well as Snapdragon for the most to all part. Of course, the newest gen of snapdragon has risen way above though forsure and that's the best you can get today still, but new 2023/2024 Exynos is outstanding more than enough. I guess some people arguing against it so hard are just stuck in the past not giving it a chance.
thank you for this video.. as someone who is thinking to buy the S24.. it seems like my S21 is still pretty upt o date in 2024.
Remember, s21 will only get software updates for another 2 years... but s24 will get 7 years.
love your content, as a kenyan on a budget which would you advice i get. this or iphone 11?
iPhone 11 is not good imo unless you love iOS. LCD screen, relatively large bezels, heavy, thick
iPhone 11 is not worth it for me in this day ang age.
S21
def this, unless you really want ios
S21 will last longer
Still have the exynos variant. Runs super smooth. Have it since release. For the reverse wireless charging you just have to enable it in settings in your charging options. For the zoom camera its a digital zoom so the 64mp camera image is cropped in. Its not a optical zoom. Samsung did this so that you can take 8k videos and still have a 12 mp primary camera. 8 k vids a filmed from the 64 mp camera. Otherwise very good video. I hopefully will use my s21 till end of software support in early 2026
I have the same phone and it's really great.😊
Came here cause i ordered a pre-loved s21 5G yesterday
How much did you get it for because I am thinking to upgrade from my laggy Galaxy A32 to that amazing Galaxy S21
@@OneStopTechYT 10k pesos or 173USD
10k pesos or 173 usd
Site?
how much you can get this now used phone ofcourse and compared to s21 fe 5g?
Is a small device and the 1080p is good. The reason why they downgraded is the 200$ price reduction I miss the big mp count on the tele. It enabeled bigger zoom distances but at least the sensor on my s23 is better(tho i feel like the tele camera should be an utility camera and you don't rly need to get the best resuilts. You just need a sharp image). I think the zoom is a necesity and every phone(i'd rather get a midranger with a normal camera and a zoom than one with a normal camera,uw,depth, machro and useless shit they put to have more cameras but no. At least with samsung,no tele on a new phone under 700$(the fe series :() Also i like that is plastic. Another measure to make the 200$ reduction possible but the math ppastic feels great and the durability gains are incredible. I used to go no case with my a52s. Dropped it from 2nd floor,no problem,it feelt good in the hands and my only complain was the plastic frame that cracked around 1 year later after i dropped it again but the screen was fine(than water got into it trough the crack and i had to switch to my s23 which i'm scared to drop bc of the back glass) my point: we need more metal frame and plastic back phones(i hated the a54 for making the back glass but keeping the rails plastic)
1:52 the pwm flickering of the s 24 is just painful. S21 looks more eye and brain-friendly
The emphasis on "shatter resistance" is ridiculous IMO. Gorilla Glass Victus that picks up scratches, plastic backs, that will get shredded without a case. But hey, it's not going to shatter. We already had shatterproof phones 10 years ago when they made them out of aluminum.
Btw the snapdragon 888 is not used in mid range phones, only high end phones have this chip
Bugs and hiccups apear after a while of using an android phone yea.. but a low/mid range phone only. High end android phones can be used for 7-9 years easily bro.. istg i have a galaxy note 3 from 2013 and it still works so well
4:10 Samsung Dax ❤
Nice!!
Siento que le pones más empeño a tus videos en inglés que los de español jajaj de todas maneras muy buen video
It's really good over there in the US but here in the EU it's trash this phone because Exynos. Less powerful, overheating issues, battery issues, and so on. Samsung being Samsung calling two different devices with different processors the same. So yeah shame to them.
I have the Exynos variant and it's not trash
@@Sfdi123 You just got used to it, it doesn't mean it's any good, especially in 2024.
I have the same Exynos version and it is very good. It's running in 2024. Battery life is also fine. I can not complain.
@@matteo_1232 same
The exynos is not baf tho check recent test with the exynos and sd version of s21 the exynos actually out performs the snapdragon long term little gap tho but still its not bad
I like this phone still have it but don't like the narrow build
A very good phone I love mine it gets warm sometimes other than that is a perfect device so you were saying that not all Androids survive this long That's sad because I don't really want to go back to no iPhone ever
I'm still using a S9. So yes the s21 is still good 💯💯
Samsung s21 series has overheating problem. I have one
I bought a Galaxy S21 today and the phone made several OS updates from Android 12 to Android 14 and didn't heat up at all. Galaxy S22 has problems with overheating.
6:44 what settings did you use? and did you clean the glass''lens'' or you fingers near the cam bc it looks foggy
Just got upgraded my S21 to S23 Ultra,. I couldn't wait for S24 Ultra cause the screen is broken and I'm in need of new phone lol
Using my s21 5g to watch this Snapdragon 888 phantom grey
I honestly want this phone, but in my country its just the shitty exynos variant, where its prone to overheating and throttling also the battery life is affected too.
exynos is great too
The Samsung Galaxy S21 will also get updated to Android 15, so it's still a phone worth buying in 2024.
Helpful
I recently acquired a Samsung Galaxy S23 FE at a very reasonable price from my carrier. However, I am not entirely satisfied with the bezels on this device. I have received an offer to trade my S23 FE for a mint condition Samsung Galaxy S21. I am considering this offer and would appreciate your advice on whether it would be a worthwhile exchange.
I bought a S21 over a year ago. For $200, its a huge deal. I do wish I got an S22 instead because its only $50 more.
Great !!!!!
Hi guys..any help? My s21 ultra is still showing android verison is up to date on "android 12". Please, how can i update manually on pc? I've tried and failed, it feels so out dated, its so frustrating! Its a 512gb/16gb am not thinking of changing yet, i just wanna update the software gosh!🙏🏿 Thanks!
If OTA updates aren't available You can try connecting it to desktop using smart switch, and install the latest update through adb. And if that doesn't work, try changing the CSC code by flashing.
Leaving the iPhone 11 back to an Android. Need help to decide on S21 5g or S21 Fe 5g
For better battery 21 FE and for better camera and screen to body ratio 21 everything else is equal and don't let ppl tell you the Exynos is. Abad chip compared to sd the Exynos is on par with the 888
4:55 you need to have a device that has wireless charging ofc. 2nd is when you do it for a phone the best is to place it like a + and no - so the cameras aren't in the way. ofc you need to press the button in the menu it doesn't matter if you do it before or after puttng the device you wanna charge on the phone
People absolutely obsess too much on the plastic back. I prefer it because it’s more durable. And folks also care way too much about cameras. As long as they work well I don’t care about specs and making the experience all about cameras. The obvious value here is the flagship experience for much less. Everything else is white noise lol 😂
my s21 just got green line this year 😂
Can it shoot 60fps video from ultrawide camera ?
All cameras can record 4k 60 fps : front camera, ultrawide, wide, and zoom camera (actually I'm not sure about the zoom camera, I think the max it can is 1080p 60 fps. Which is still extreme good!! Surely all of them 1080/60fps
iphone alternative is the iphone 12 not the 13
Should I get a new one for 365$ or used for 300$? Edit: both are sd888
New is always better
the back of the 21 is not plastic. its glass I've cracked it twice and you can tell its glass
Regular S21 has plastic back for sure. S21+ or Ultra has glass back...
No its close to not getting updates anymore and its not bootloader unlockable
I am using Galaxy S21 5G Snapdragon variant 😁
Bros says s21 in 2024 me happy with s10+ pubg
Atleast in Asia this phone is trash in terms of performance due to the abomination exynos 2100 which sucks in comparison to Sd888. I considered buying this phone for casual gaming and day to day task but it turns out there are better alternatives.
CR7 hell yea
What if phone becames bit laggy is there solution? 😢
factory reset
@@1_bynx tried few times still the same.
Bro has like 17349 youtube channels spanish and english omg
the backcover is plastic?
No I broke mine a few months ago its for sure glass
@filipheler557 do you have s21 plus or ultra? I believe those 2 are glass backs but the s21 standard is plastic
S21 has a polycarbonate back (plastic) while the S21+ has a glass back.
