  • Jim this bowl is lovely, and I agree cherry wood is my favorite too. We lost a feww cherries this year it was heart breaking to have them cut down but the gentleman who took them down promise he would make something special with them instead of just chirpper them up. Designer epoxy

  • While one will always happily bow to the wisdom and expertise of Mrs. Sprague, we men love naming and adapting tools (even when we borrow(?) them from the kitchen). Sifting flour? Why... it's perfect for rocks! I love how the soapstone turned dark when the finish was applied. Such beautiful work! And once again, cat hairs (they always manage to leave their mark!).   • You can really tell that Jim has done hundreds (thousands?) of these inlay bowls. It is a great way to show the beauty of the cherry. I think that using Designer Epoxy instead of CA glue is a good idea, it gives you more flexibility and working time.

  • The mark of a true craftsman is being able to deal with hiccups along the way. I work with 11 per inch size beads..and few are actually 11/0. Hope Darren's mom loves her bowl. It is beautiful. ❤
