Question? How do you insert the monofin into the tail? Can you remove the monofin? What is the mold made of?
they showed that in another video basically you have two pices of the fluk a front pice and a back pice and when you glue them together you insert the monofin, to me it looks pretty much like it can't be removed since it's tightly glued in
super late oops Most professional silicone tailmakers permanently install the monofins into the flukes and strategically place drainage holes + provide instructions to people who commission them to make sure that there's no visible seam or way to look inside the fluke to see the fin while still preventing mold growth. stronger illusion and whatnot. I've seen molds sculpted in clay and then made into molds with plaster or fiberglass, or even some hardening putties for smaller pieces/fine details, but no molds can be silicone since it would stick to itself when poured.
