Amazing that the tow boat can pull it along submerged like that, so much drag!
Especially when you consider the undertow through the inlet can be ripping 10+ knots.
I towed a 31 ft formula in to moriches NY inlet half sunk with a 17ft bow rider 70hp johnson ob. No Seatow back in 80s. Three people on deck of bow rode in to shallows where boat rested.
Not compared to the pulling power of the other boat. Not at that low speed.
Whats really amazing is that dude in overalls a long sleeve shirt a dang head wrap and boots... 😂

I was in a 35 foot boat that lost power off of Kailua, Kona HI. The radio didn't work and the owner Captain had to use his cell. We waited over 1 hour for the Coast Guard and no one in sight (all the while drifting closer to a rocky shoreline). I finally convinced him to call back and emphasize that we we south of Kailua, Kona, Big Island. We were then told that they had been searching off of Kailua, Oahu (different Island 350 miles away.). They told him that "we were on our own" quite scary. . I had to go over the side twice and swim with a rope to keep us away from the shoreline break. Finally a charter boat was coming back to Kona, from down by South Point and we flagged him down. This guy towed us all the way back to Honokahau Harbor safely. He wouldn't take money or anything at the time. I found out he was a former neighbor and my friend and I delivered bottled drinks for the crew as well as took them to the Harbor Restaurant for a very full meal. Sometimes we have to rely on each other no matter what.
Truly the gift of Aloha there!
That's so scary!!! You're so fortunate someone came by to help!
God will bless you for sure! Helping each other in this world is what we need !
Well, as long as people realize that DEMONRATS are destroying America, maybe, just maybe we can come to rely on one another again some day.
you pulled a 35 foot boat by rope while swimming in the pacific ocean to prevent the boat from crashing into rocks. Did you hold the rope in your teeth while swimming? Sounds legit.
A big thank you to all of the first responders!! Nice job.
Great job to Fire, EMS and police personnel! Hope this young lady has a speedy recovery!! Merry Christmas and safe travels to you all!
Where would we be without our wonderful first responders ....... The same ones that were almost defunded last year ............... Thank You To Our Law Enforcement, And Our Wonderfull and Brave Firefighters and EMS first responders. Love your Guys!!!! Thin blue line, Thin Red Line....... Salute to you guys
@@josefastboats5874 Here they were defunded and now it's a nightmare... Well LA has been a nightmare for a while now, but now it's a 🙄 "worser" nightmare.

I’ve watched several of these Haulover Inlet channels, but you guys are the best by a long shot. Classy, funny, and chill. You make me feel like I have sand in my toes and warm sun.
The guy with the fishing pole that walked up to the injured girl and starred at her while she was being loaded onto stretcher really annoyed me. How rude.
That is a fact, what was his problem? Don’t know about you Gary but I’m weary of guys who shave their legs.
yea FREEDOM is such a pain
Poor guy being accused without merits
Right! I agree! She’s hurting and vulnerable screw off dude! This isn’t a show. I hate it when people do that. I always try to protect the dignity and privacy of my patients.
And he followed her to the ambulance maybe he was stalking her this was whole time she was surfing
Im no doctor ,but having had a dislocated kneecap I can ,with some authority ,tell you it HURTS ,she did well to keep it together as well as she did .Speedy recovery and well wishers for her.
Agree! I've had mine wrap around the side of my knee over 10 times. What's great is once you do it a few times the tendons stretch and make it easier to do again. Quickly learned that by lifting my leg and slamming my heel on the ground to extend my leg it puts the patella back in place. Still need a Dr to drain and give a little cortizone injection.
That really hurts. Anyone with that has dealt witha knee injury, i know grimaces when they see another person with a knee injury
Do you think she dislocated her kneecap?
Yup more pain that I ever knew before. I dislocated mine too. Sucked!!
Agreed! Extremely painful!
Excellent video of first responders in action. The people that keep us safe.
......are u one of those dum-dum boater who goes out there on un-safe boat and no life jacket?
Great to see emergency vessels on call. Purpose built, lots of power.
but none of them had any crew onboard. how's a skipper supposed to help in a rescue and be in control of is boat. i know it'e possible buy surely not reccommended
@peter wilson probably because they knew there were others on the scene... like a traffic stop, not one, but the entire force shows. 😄 (Kidding but it looks that way sometimes)
They back each other up. Notice how many different police units were shown responding..?
I watched a towboat US respond to a multi million dollar sailing cat at the Las Olas bridge in Ft lauderdale. Double engine failure and adrift. Seconds before striking the bridge the Towboat US boat appeared out of nowhere, answering the pleading distress calls and saved the day. I watched from anchorage and applauded these unsung hero’s. I’m now a member for life.( this is no B.S.)
That's awesome!
This time they seem to be late to the party
Thank you to all the first responders out there. Kudos to everyone who make the bad situations better. We are all safer because of all of you. Blessings to you and your families.🙏👍🤗🚒🚑🚓🚔🚤🥰
well....there are some bad apples at EVERY job
Looks like pound for pound Miami has the best first responders.
The last shot of the girl's knee sent a shiver up my spine! I feel for her
Lokked like her knee cap popped out of place.
It hurts just looking at it.
Patellar dislocation. Like what happened to Mahomes. They’ll pop it back in place and if the tendon and cartilage are not damaged, she’ll recover. I’m not an orthopedic doctor, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn.

Never boring at Haulover! 😎
Thumbs up for the first responders! 👍👍👍
My boy Broncos Guru snatched the drain plug. They should have hit that like and subscribe button and this would have never happened! That lady's knee looked really jacked up. Hopefully she heals up quick and is back out surfing again.
Im amazed they could pull a boat like that. Thats incredible! Wow. Just wow.
I'm amazed that you don't know how to use something as simple as an apostrophe. That's incredible! Wow. Just wow.
A capsized boat has more buoyancy than you might think, especially a smaller one.
Not to be disrespectful, but the part where all the response boats were heading out sorta reminded me of that scene in the movie Airplane! where all sorts of emergency vehicles seemed to just keep coming. I was almost expecting a trash truck boat to be heading out next! Glad everyone was safe, hats off to responders. We're lucky to have you!
That green response boat with the suspension seats is awesome. Fully designed to fly over those waves.
That green boat is sweet! I wonder if he who gets to the scene first gets paid 🤑 reminds me of that cool documentary about the tow truck drivers in New York back in the day, driving around souped up pick up trucks with a tow truck grafted on the back, like vultures on the CB radio listening for accidents put out by cops etc, racing through the city to get there first. Getting in fist fights over who got the tow, who got the cash. That red boat tailing at the very end stood no chance! LOL
The guy with the hat and suspenders and shades is so excited about this beach drama.
Hello police and EMT folks…one word. Exercise.
You can blame the removal of comprehensive physical assessments for that. Once they pass the physical through training, there is no longer a standardized enforcement; can be 300lbs and on blood pressure medication.... It started with political motives to push more candidates through and now has dire consequences.
Not exactly Bay Watch bodies.
100% Boat plug
I like that all the Amish came out to wish her well and see her off.
Thanks for the video. Fortunately I have to admit that you are mush more better than BOAT ZONE channel because you mostly tell stories not only the sea but land, and your tell is polite and full of good wishes. As of today, I am a member of your channel. Greetings from Istanbul to you all.
Rescue service is badass.
That ambulance is the size of a freight train!
My husband grew up around the ocean and bays. He began learning to drive a boat at a young, supervised age. His first comment about any water sport or activity: you first must learn to respect the ocean.
Strange that the police boats only have one officer in them. You would think two would Mke more sense. One to do the rescue and the other to maintain control of the boat
I was thinking the same.
Dangerous as well. I'm also surprised that policy doesn't say they need a PFD on at all times especially if on their own.
@@marvindebot3264 They had PFDs on... You can't see the straps going over their backs? They are the self inflating CO2 cartridge type...
Like I said in another comment, there are probably more emergency vehicles on scene. When 8 boats go out with a helicopter, there are bound to be extra hands.
I thought the same thing!
Really impressed with whatever camera you’re using now! Picture is amazing on good monitors.
Excellent reporting, hope she gets better soon. I also hope the guys get their boat fixed up as well.
Great video! I feel for the boat people and the surfer girl. They're out there in paradise on earth having the time of their life! And sadly, that day for them there was trouble in paradise. Hopefully they get back out there! I subscribed because of the GREAT scenery, and the really great cinematic camerawork. I mean, you are an OUTSTANDING cameraman! Great job! Thanks! :D
HAULOVER! Remember if the ladies don't find you handsome, at least they'll like your boat!
That first yellow boat responding was badass.
I'm 46 and have been plagued with knee problems since I was a teenager. Skateboarding, hanging from 3 story buildings and jumping to the ground, gymnastics and hopping stacks of junkyard cars really tore my cartilage up. I sincerely hope that young lady takes care of her injury so she doesn't suffer like I have. Knees are a fickle thing.
You were never plagued with knee problems. The knees were fine. Thinking were your problems.

glad to see the 1st arriving paramedic with his lifesaving Ipad!!....damn bro ....anything but the report
Wasn’t surprised to see a boat doing a turtle impression in Florida
It's interesting the difference in response to a boat in distress in US and UK. In US you have police and independant contractors, in UK we have Royal National Lifeboat Institute, one of the best supported charities with superb all weather boats all around the coast manned by volunteers, a free service for anyone in distress at sea. We are so foruntate to have it!
The independent contractors that recover vessels, take the stress off the Police and US Coast Guard. The rescue services are then freed up to respond to life and death situations. Working together makes them the most efficient service in the world.
@@tomsreviews238 Thanks I guess in most instances the insurance pays the contractors
@@tomsreviews238 why do you have to claim its the most efficient service in the world yet present absolutely no evidence whatsoever... chill out... America is not the greatest
@@thekingoftheboxleton it’s American so by definition it’s the greatest in the world…….

Had to have no drain plug put in before launching! Very heavy in the stern on the way out on a calm day.
I saw a boat sink from a rusted out hose clamp on the discharge line from the bilge pump. It broke off and the line cut loose and the boat filled up. Thankfully it was moored at the time.
Exciting day at Haulover! Great video!
Look at that blue water and still surfing in December. Makes me want to move to Florida.
Yes I moved to Florida in July. I wish I'd moved here a long time ago. Took the boat out 2 days ago and beached it on a secluded beach, family picnic. Beautiful weather. My mate in Illinois was working on his snowmobile and about to take it for a spin...I told him I was about to hit the beach bahahaha.
Better laws and government than CA, that’s for sure. But, we can do the same thing in SoCal in December, we just have to have thicker wetsuits. I mean, people surf in Alaska in the winter, if there’s a will there’s a way.
I'm sensing a theme here. "TowboatUS" either shows up last when someone else has it under control, or they show up first, ram your s**t and just tie off to it and then do nothing, blocking access to actual rescue boats. Remind me to write their name down, and scratch a line through it, as I'd let my boat sink and pay another outfit to salvage it rather than involve them.
Those guys lucky to still be here. Great job Miami Sar
Ay Chihuahua! Forget the rental boat, save the tamales !!!
The video quality of these are great! Very clear.
I like how the tow guy was booking it through Haulover. Great vid
I hope the surfer girl has made a full recovery and has gotten back out surfing again.
Who's the expert with the red shorts and the fishing rod? Seemed like it was spoiling his day.
Crazy how easy the emergency boats make it look lol
Totally wanted to watch the injured knee and not boats. So thanks for that
This is the big country whit the best people
Felt so bad for the woman. You can see her pain. Hope she's all better now.
This is one video I’ll never show my wife, she’ll never go out with me again .

I agree. Had to be the plug

Right! I was like Bruce Campbell's an EMT now? Just like David Lee Roth! Lol
I hope the capsized sunk boat was recovered and restored for enjoyment. Easy recovery for the injured lady so she can enjoy boating another day
There is probably not much to restore. All electronics and probably engines are write-off. How much value is in the hull ?
ocean took no prisoners today
Men and women in blue to the rescue!! How many thumbs ups can we get for our first responder?
I wish the truck diving community was as interactive as the boating community when it come to helping someone..ha! I was working on my truck in a rest area standing on my front tire and went to step off the inner fender and dislocated ny knee in a bad kind of way and couldn't get up in the parking lot ..laid there for 35 min before a good person from the car parking saw me from a long distance and finally made it over . Numerous truck driver just ignored what they saw and one even pulled into the parking spot I was laying in and saw me , he literally backed out and moved to parking further up to avoid helping me ..waving and yelling for help did no good lol ..I feel if the person from the car parking didn't see me id still be laying there ! Anyway, long story short the boating community in haulover it seems to be a large response to even small events and everyone including civilians act immediately and I I can definitely respect that ..be safe my friends! Love watching these haulovee channels, its my paradise when I'm on the rd .
Thank you first responders!!!
Круто ребята. Спасатели работают очень профессионально.
Looks like a dislocated knee. That's gonna hurt. Hope she recovers well.
Looks like a boo boo that doesn't warrant tears. She's obviously a professional crybaby, or footballer.
@@CooManTunes LOL! Footballer. Good one. Except I can a gap in the knee cap. Obviously too far away to see clearly but that gap is what I was thinking. Although for the life of me I don't see how this could happen unless there was previous trauma and weaken ligaments and/or tendons.
Fantastic film quality
What's with the friken siren...good lord!🤤🤣
GREAT. JUST GREAT. Another weird ass KZhead channel im addicted to that I have to tell people about!
Sheesh glad all the boaters were ok... Hope that surfer gets better asap!

A good response to both incidents.
Seeing a person in pain hurts my heart, ...........specially when it's a kid[s]. Wish her well and next time lady ; be careful. ;-) ThnXs for the share / care for other people W.B.
I don't think she was a kid she looked like a grown up to me, just a grown up in so much pain she was crying. Almost made me cry!
Aw man that injury really hurt. I hope she’s doing better now
Poor girl dislocated the patella, easy to see at 7:20ish. Strange that the medics didn't started with some iv pain killing before evacuation. Then they could try easy repositioning by pushing it back while extending the leg.
Good catch. I know 2 people who broke their patellas. PAINFULL.
No pain killers on ambulances here in south Florida. Too many instances of them being broken into and the drugs taken for abuse. Stopped years ago. Now you have to suck it up until you’re at a hospital.
Good catch, my kid had this twice, it is usually best to relocate it as soon as possible to relieve pain and prevent damage to tendants. all first responders should know this.
@@Kapnwill wow, that is terrible. How do they deal with heart attacks and fractures?

Glad everyone is ok. My wife and I spent weeks restoring a 1984 Bowrider and we have great attachment to that boat. I can’t imagine losing it to the sea. Be safe everyone. 🇺🇸🎄
Huh ? lol
Rough day in paradise. Yikes
Oh my 🙀 We hope the nice lady is Ok.
I’m from New Zealand and it amazes me the lack of people wearing life jackets while crossing the bar. Here we wear vests whether it’s one foot or 20 feet. Any boat under 18ft is compulsory under any weather conditions. Our bar crossings are a bit more hazardous than this though.
You're welcome to wear one on my boat, any time that you like. Please don't hassle me for not wearing one.
Americans are known for being cavalier around watercraft (I know, because I'm an American and I get teased all the time for wearing a life vest).
Ugggg that knee cap to the side.
Leads me to believe it's a dislocated kneecap. Crazy painful.
