I'm pretty sure my 3 year old grandson is going to be a gearhead he will sit and watch your videos with me, Constantly saying "HE'S FIXING IT POPPY" ✌🏻😊🇺🇸🇨🇦
@@JeffBarker memories they will never forget
That is so precious, kids are so adorable at that age. I love it. God Bless you and your family. 💯💯👍👍🙏🙏✌😊✌🇺🇸
@@MIKEH.777 Thanks, yes I love my grandkids! 😊❤️
He might want to watch Jonathan w on KZhead
Cool ride love the Brown
There is no angle this car does not look cool from..it is my favorite. It is a masterpiece.
I'd pay admission of a case or two of beer just so I could walk around your property and look at all your stuff. I like the color choice on the Pontiac too. It doesn't need to advertise its bad ass, that's happens when you fire it up.
One of the most beautiful cars ever made
Have to agree with you 100%.
Three comments come to mind: 1.) Car 'skills' second to none in terms of using what you got. 2.) Developing a vision in your head, then creating it with your own hands, in short order. 3.) Great on the road cinematography, better than some movies.
Totally agree, especially number 3. That shot at 23:15 is epic, like something out of a period road movie. Of course, having roads like that on your doorstep has to help. I had to smile when he turned-off that long, dead straight road, onto a long, dead straight road.👍😁 27:50 shows the 𝑜𝑛𝑙𝑦 way to turn a big lump of car on a dirt road but it looks so cool from the drone.
I watched the build from the beginning, she's a stunning machine and my favourite of your fleet. Great channel, great work... Pablo's a star🐾 👍UK
the truck is mine an the dog
Is it chopped just a little?
It used to be my favourite until The General came along! It's bounced down to number 2 in my list of favourites from his collection.
all you had to do was show the key and she started right up... This 38 puts me in mind of the cool rods typical of the Dick Tracy cartoon, comics and film era..., love it!
I dig the color, looks perfect on that car. She’s a beauty, enjoy the drive.
That Pontiac has the coolest looking stance. Looks like it’s going fast standing still. 😎👍🇨🇦
Brilliancy with humour, a rare combination.
I must say from all the beautiful toys you have, this 1938 is my absolute favorite!!👍🏽😎
Love the way you look at things, dive in, and if it don't quite work, but it works, eh,what the heck. Love your relationship with your dog...he loves you no matter what.
I watched this project from start to finish. Great fabrication and execution of your vision.
I was watching the drone shot and thinking 'she must be a handful - he's all over the road' ......and then I saw the rooster tails and finally understood..........!! I absolutely adore that beast. From the low stance to the chopped roof and side window delete and the headlights so reminiscent of a 37/38 Chev, you nailed that thing. Paint colour is perfect and suits the beast like it was made for it. Some big chrome hubcaps and maybe a little tasteful custom pinstriping would really make her pop IMO, but she's still a sight to behold and looks good enough without them. Those glasspacks just add the final dimension to me....and the sound of shifting her up through the manual box just finishes it completely. I'd happily import the beast here and drive her until I couldn't drive any longer. Awesome to see it on the road again and cruising. That's what she's built for....but you know that. Keep it in the furrow, brother. All the best.
Thanks man, it's definitely fun to cruise
Put a hinge on the license plate. Mount it a little lower so it can swing without bending on the bumper and let it just drag when it comes in contact with some thing.
Was thinking the same thing. Good call.
i was just going to put that in comments lol
We used to use short pieces of cistern chain to hang the license plate.
Cannot understand why, after so much work, you went and drove that beautiful Pontiac in circles in a field rather than driving it slowly and majedtically in a town center and filming the reactions of the public. That is role of these classics. They have historical value apart from being stunningly beautiful. As for keeping it uncovered in an old barn!!!! What a great pity. Do you want to sell it? You did a great job ( upholstery was not the best) on it and I admire your skill.
You create the best looking stuff anywhere, that Pontiac looks great from every angle. Love how it fits perfectly into hard use in your setting. Love Pablo, too. Thanks for many hours of viewing pleasure.
That car is a beauty and so suited to that great country backroad footage. Nice to see things in full bloom there. Tks
You kidding me the color makes it!!!! Love your attitude and work
This car was the start of my KZhead addiction lol! I found this build on a random search and started watching you build her. I couldn't wait for the next video to come out lol!
Pablo loves to cruise! Top Dog. Great music, as usual Brent. Keep on keepin’ on.
The teardrop shape of the headlamp pods was perfect as a follow through the fenders. She’s right at home cruising down the road leaving the dusty slipstream behind. Perfect ending.
A Beer bottle cap and silicone will fix a leaking yolk... enjoy the videos thanks for sharing your knowledge and hot rods with us all.
I love the old Pontiac. I had a 1937 Plymouth 4 door sedan when I was in college for a while. What a blast to drive that old 6 cylinder. Once you got it up to speed it was a juggernaut!!!
My 15 yr grandson just helped me rebuild a 64 buick 425 nailhead. I would do it first then he would do the next job weather it was installing pistons or heads. His father knows nothing about cars. Sometimes it's up to us Grandparents to step in and help continue this great hobby. Or tradition of working on our own stuff. That's why we both love this channel.. great Job 👍.
Haha as long as the kids are willing that's what makes it worth it
A very nice car. In 1974 I bought a 1940 Pontiac business coupe. It was all original with the flat head six engine. Everything worked, even the clock. It had sitting for about a year. We jumped it and I drove it home. It was really a cool car.
Dude, you totally nailed it on this build, love the look, color is magnif, bigger lights and slight shape change, fabulous. good freakin job !! the rest will get worked out. cheers rudy
THATS THE BEST LOOKING RUNNING PONTAIC IVE EVER SEEN BRENT THANKS 👍 And your my Hero
You are a great person with a wonderful atitude . My favorite youtube bar none use what the good lord gave you and dont stress too much . I would love to shake your hand for the many hours of enjoyment i have had watching these videos . Thank you so much !!!!
Thanks for watching man!
I personally love the color choice. 👍 What a great cruiser car. It's gangsta. It's always a pleasure watching you work magic on your stuff. Thank you 👍
This pontiac is so beautiful.
I'm a long time Pontiac fan.. Bought a 66 tempest back in 86...still have it today..now added a 78 Grand LeMans half backed big tire car few years back...this is sweet...I can see myself in this car.
Beautiful Pontiac ,1930s 40 s cars have got a soul u can feel ,
Love this car. It's timeless will look good years from now at any car show or Cruz!!!
Time for a decent showroom to put all your creation in and keep the creatures and weather out. Art work needs good storage. Love your builds.
It is so Gangster. Loved the build & watched every clip. Doesn't seem that long ago but time flys when your having fun. Thanks for the video Brent. Cheers Billy J.... Strail'ya...
Thanks for the eye candy mate 👍👍
Love your toys...the idle on the Pontiac...awesome..blop,,,blop,,,blop.....need some more sealed up Shelters......stay well keep the great work.
I remember this build. Glad you got it out, did some fixing and took Pablo for a ride. Always your best endings of a video.
Love that car! Don't change anything. . .unless it breaks. . .yeah, then change away! PS don't apologize for that car! Its freakin' beautiful
I really like this build, I have watched it over several times. I think the color is right on. I wish I could convince you to guide me through the top on my 40 Chevrolet? Thanks for all the great builds. Pablo and Buddy make it even better.
@James Ogden I think you bumped your head!
WELL DONE SIR, GREAT TO SEE YOU UP AND RUNNING AGAIN
Other than my son's junk, this is my favorite car on KZhead. well done. and thank you for sharing.
Probably the most extensive build ( next to the General) you ever did and one of my favorites! Mice or no mice you still have nice things Brent!
Love the old Pontiacs great build and Pablo is just as cool👍
That's a badass ride for sure, looks killer, sounds killer...and thumbs up for Pablo!! Love that dude. :)
That Pontiac is just beautiful
Looks like another Canadian moonshiner on a run! Great looking car.
I love the stance, and the Cam, I have a 37, (with a 392 Hemi) and 38 Chevy Coupes, simple and Cool, no stupid Electronic Sensors and sh*t ! This is true Hot Rodding, I approve. Your Dog fits perfect too, so awesome ! Wow.
Remindes me of my ride in a Pontiac 1938 straight 8 coupe, back in 1960 ish, when we wanted to see how fast it would go, down the A5 in North Wales, UK. I distinctly remember passing 80mph, ahuge speed for the day !!!
I had forgotten how cool that chop is.
Beauty ,I love the split front window !
I would dearly love that old cruiser
I’ve had that plug leak on a Chev years ago. A leaky freeze plug looking thing in the back of it. But if sealer and she’s good for years. Never had problems again with it. Amazed me to find it too.
This gentleman has more skills than anyone I have ever seen, and I like all the lines of his modified '38 Pontiac. My only criticism is the paint job lacks lustre. I had a '39 4-door Pontiac approximately that color but it looked metallic bronze. I owned it from about 1950 to 1952. (I'm 97.) Later: I watched the video "1938 Pontiac Walkaround," and now I feel the original lines were just fine, and a better result would have been a refurbishment and good quality paint job.
Carona says damn Mices! We still love this car! Man I remember locking that stupid clip in by myself without the proper compressor! It sucked, but I got it. 73 Pontiac tilt comlumn in a 72 Toyota FJ40.
WATCHED THE WORK ON THE DODGE NICE JOB ! THAT 38 PONTIAC GOOD LOOKING RIDE YOU DO ONE HELL OF A JOB
Keep up the GOOD WORK..😎...an Your Little Woman...She's a KEEPER..!!!
Browne came out great fun build to watch. Thanks for sharing
The color is perfect! Love the drone footage as always! Hi Pablo!
Color is good. Dog's color scheme matches mine. The car looks like a 30's version of what a GM 60's artist would have made it look like. Dig the jazz, made me grab my fretless bass.
I love this old car watch you build her it's got the old school feel like the 50s the real way guys built there cars
Every time I watch one of your videos it is a nicer car and or truck than the one before. I envy you my friend. And the shop you have, I would probably never go to the house.
I think the colour is brilliant. This car looks great, just finished watching the entire playlist. (Skipped the 1 a-z build as I watched the individual videos). I wouldn’t have chosen the colour, but seeing it, it totally works. PS: the playlist is basically in reverse order so, I had to keep manually selecting the next video as KZhead kept wanting to show me the last video I had watched).
you absolutely NAILED the chop on that car! you improved the lines! Don't let anyone tell you you're not an artist!
I would love to have that car. It is the perfect gangster look without being too gangster. it has the most beautiful lines with the chop you did. You do fantabulous work. Great ,Great car.
Beautiful 38! When you said you hadn’t driven it in a year and I saw it stored outside, I said “mouse house”, then you find a nest. Advice: sell some of your less amazing stuff and build a garage for the treasures or just sell them too. A garage with mouse traps and electronic repellants would save you from cursing about mouse damage. Have fun wrenching!
A pair of vintage fog lamps would look awesome up front! Thanks for the video!
Yeah man or even just one would be pretty awesome
Love the Pontiac. The perfect daily driver. I've built a lot of rear ends over the decades. 90 +% of car guys and mechanics don't have a clue on how to set one up "properly." More involved than meets the eye.
This has to be my favorite build of yours it is such a cool car glad to see you getting it out and driving it for a while. Awesome car and build!!!
That 1938 Pontiac looks awesome nice job of customizing the coupe bet it is fun to cruise ;-)
1938 Pontiac minty, nice ride 👍🔄
I love this era of car style. I'm going to have to look back at old videos you made of it. I'd have one. It's a sweet ride.
Man....is buy that Pontiac from you in a heartbeat
Love your videos. Especially when you involve your dogs. Australia
The light matches the teardrop of the fenders. I think looks awsome!!
I love watching your show you’ve got the coolest little trick there that I’ve ever seen to get that bolt undone from the training
Cool car. I like the colour. Supper nice ending watching you and man's best friend out for a cruise. 👍
Man, that old straight eight sounds badass.
straight eight? It's got a 5.3 LS Engine!
Did I really need to put a sarcasm tag on that? Cut me some brakes, give me a line of credit.@@oneflewoverthecuckoosnest2823
@@frankschwartz7405 Yup put a sarcasm tag on that next time. I have seen many comments of people who thought it had the original engine, that's why.
I think your idea is right on track with the truck it will look great once you build it an see it when it's finished
Setting a rear end up is an aquired learning experiance. Even for an ASE master Mechanic. The crush washer on the tightness on the pinion shaft is important. Bet you're glad it wasn't a tilt wheel....special tool. Badazz ride Bud.
Watched this build when you first posted it. Beautiful car..
This is probably my favorite car you have. LOVE the lines!
I like driving my junk tooo. 🤗🤗🤗🤗 Very cool junk ! Love your adventures!
I love that 38 Pontiac
Bro...that marvelous Pontiac of yours deserved the best garage and not like that one.
Sweet 38! A frosty Miller Lite salute to Brent and Pablo. 🤸♂️👍🕺🍻🇺🇸🇸🇪
I love to watch guys build rods out of what they have! when they start throwing new stuff at it I am looking for another build! keep doing what youre doing I love it!!!!!
I think that Pontiac looks real slick!!!
I love the lines of this chop and the pastel green four door build both of which I watched start to finish.you are a great fabricator and I like the longer videos.thanks john from arizona
my favourite build of yours. and the colour is perfect its patina looking and looks period.
There's nothing half assed about anything Brent builds awesome work
Gorgeous car. Pontiacs forever! I have a 49 Pontiac ratty kustom.
26:27 those civilian modern cars are looking so lesser before this Grand Pontiac! 27:52 ""Junior Moon in real life and in action! My first visit on your video and channel, I really enjoyed a lot! Keep up the good work mate!
Awesome stance on that. Gain laundry pellets keep mice out. Sprinkle a few around the interior and on the floor. Just vacuum up when you take it out. Really appreciate you're taking time to video your projects and share your knowledge.
The Pontiac is just BOSS!
What a great ride Brent! LOVE the front end, LONG! I'm so glad you build things to drive and have fun doing it. Nice tip using that bolt to remove that plug. Rather that than fancy paint and electronic crap!! High test fuel, the smell of oil on the headers and away you go!!
That one and the Buick with the green flames I think are my two favorites, they just scream hot rod to me :)
I loved this build!! Still lookin’ good👍!!
Your coolest build so far.
