  • I had totally forgot this channel. It just got recommended again and I never get tired of seeing this. I mean I like cooking but have never done or seen anything more unique/ exquisite than this. I always loved seeing the lobsters ones cz I’ve always wanted to taste it. And I’ve been subscribed since 3 years ago and I still haven’t tasted lobster.

    • The regulations for sushi in Japan make ours for food safety look like a joke. To serve fugu or blowfish takes 2 years to learn how to prepare it safely and then only afterwards are you permitted.

  • Fun octopus facts: - Rubbing a large amount of salt before prepping octopus makes it less slimy and completely removes the 'fishy smell' - Messaging the tentacles loosens up the tentacle muscles so it isnt as chewy when you eat it

  • That was very fun to watch. I don’t eat squid or octopus (don’t enjoy the flavor or the suction cups) but it was interesting to see how they prepared it. I was in awe at the amount of skill and control the gentleman had of what looked like a freaking sword. Obviously a master of his craft.

  • I am so jealous of whoever is making these videos. To be able to travel and eat the foods they get to eat are a dream of mine! Man does that look delicious! I absolutely love sushi and Sashimi. I could only wish for having access to such fresh fish and seafoods. As a chef all I can get here is frozen fish and seafood with the exception of some shellfish as well as crab when it's in season here in my state.

  • Used to eat Octopus until I found out how smart they are. They can recognise faces and have high level problem solving skills. They also have an amazing memory. Hate the thought of eating something that can work out it's going to be eaten.
